A beautiful home that was pristinely clean and wonderfully comfortable. Food was wonderful and my hosts were gracious and attentive.
Beautiful and very clean. The gluten-free pancakes were delicious. We are gluten sensitive but the recipe is a new favorite.
This is a beautiful, grand century home that has been fully renovated by its owners, who are friendly, welcoming hosts. I had a lovely stay here, and the breakfast was simply exquisite, with fresh croissants, homemade jam, local cheeses, and much more, all served in the dining room on silver platters. This would be a perfect place to rest & relax in Sherbrooke, and to take in the town. I hope I'm back again soon to enjoy this beautiful B&B.
The wifi signal was weak in my room, but that really wasn't an issue for me.
Great beds, calm, amazing bfast
Location colors dog
Staff had poor attitude. They did not make it clear they accepted cash and only Canadian until we checked out. Breakfast small portions of exotic food. Thin walls cut down privacy.
Beautiful in every way. Breakfast served with sterling silver tea and coffee pots. The room was very, very clean and smelled of wonderfully clean linens.
High standard B&B ...for those who enjoy Arts ...this is the place to be Breakfast was like a 5 star hotel !
The late check-in at 5.pm bothering us a little bit .
Beautifully renovated and decorated old house. Very comfortable room. Off road parking. Nice breakfast.
Fabulous breakfast, beautiful room, gracious hosts
Nowhere to hang your clothes. Armoire, but no closet
Accommodation was superb Host was very helpful & attentive Great breakfast Many areas to relax in.
Driveway to entrance of building needs to be improved with well lit lighting of driveway.
The décor and atmosphere, the cleanliness and the warm attitude of the owners
This is a lovely and interesting house, nicely furnished, with for-sale artwork decorating the walls of the downstairs rooms. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample and the owners were lovely people and very helpful. They made a reservation for us at a restaurant within walking distance where we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
There was nothing that I didn't like. If I could make a suggestion, I would ask that more towel racks be installed in the bathroom, and that more hooks be provided in the room for hanging clothes.
We had a big bedroom with a private bathroom. The king bed was very comfortable and our hosts Marie-Christine and husband Yves were especially wonderful! Kind, knowledgeable, wonderful cooks, and very helpful to us. We are American and Yves was nice enough to lead us to a Canadian bank so we could purchase more Canadian money for our trip to Quebec City. He went out of his way to ensure that we did not get lost. His thoughtfulness was above and beyond what a person could ask for!
WiFi in our room did not work, but we were able to get it in a downstairs area.
Room was lovely, breakfast delicious, owners very friendly and interesting.
nothing, it was all good.
Beautiful house, close to downtown, delicious breakfast.
Formal atmosphere that makes it less welcoming !
Clean, well appointed Breakfast unique, generous and well presented A beautiful home with lots of antiques, paintings and unusual art work
Owners are a bit reserved and formal. Responded to all our questions, but didn't offer recommendations for what to do in the area. Perhaps, a slight language barrier.
- Amazing room! (spacious, beautifully decorated, impeccably clean) - Wonderful B&B owners - Yves and his wife (Marie-Christine) were so welcoming and sweet! They took the time to answer any question we had and were very kind hosts. - The breakfast we were served was DELICIOUS and so filling - croissants, muffins, tea, coffee, a delicious tiramisu parfait, and the most delicious banana pancakes complemented with wedges of local cheeses and herbs picked from the B&B's garden. -Great location - close to the center of town! -Snoopy - the owners' adorable dog :) Overall, this is an incredible B&B and we definitely recommend it to anyone
Nothing bad to say - loved everything!
Our hosts The property and the house with its huge rooms used for exhibiting local artists and charming wood trim and accoutrements. Quiet and peaceful
1 breakfast that would have been better suited to lunch or an afternoon snack: guacamole, hummus, falafel, spinach dip preceded by a frozen chocolate and yoghurt sundae. The lovely banana pancake covered in berries the following day was lovely
Excellent hosts with unusual but lovely breakfast. Great location.
We were traveling from Montreal to Bar Harbor. The stop in Sherbrooke was a surprise. The room was comfortable and clean The stairs were a challehge for me because of myrecent knee surgery. Our host was very accommodating and let me goin and out thru the kitchen. The breakfast was very good
No hand rail on front step.
Setting was beautiful. They have done an excellent job of restoring old mansion. The owners were gracious and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. It was everything we had hoped for. It was a very short walk to restaurants and just slightly farther to the lake. Lots of good walking paths in Sherbrooke.
WIFI was fine for computer in the bedroom, but iPhone and iPad would loose it there - did work on main floor.
Everything to our liking….peaceful, quiet and spacieux. Wonderful comfort level. Breakfast setting lovely, perhaps a bit more protein in the meal would be welcome.
My booking confirmed access to a terrace for each of the rooms I reserved. (reserved 2 rooms, superior) Only one of the rooms had access to a terrace. This was not really a problem but a little deceiving, disappointing, as the second room was a gift from us, to a family member.
There was a misunderstanding about payment ... which was resolved ... but inn the meantime we drove away without paying our bill. Very embarrassing. BE SURE TO BRING CASH OR A CHECK!
Close to the town center, so easy to walk to dinner
