Clean room

Bed was very uncomfortable. Continental breakfast selection was minimal. Breakfast area was hard to find and not open at 7am as promised. Traffic noise from Trans Canada

The room was very cold and when the staff was told about it they did nothin but tell me the heat was turned off ! There is big Stains in the carpet and the pillows feel old and dirty. I ve had trouble with pre auths that were suppose to hold my room an both times my room was charged directly to my mastercard . Needless to say I will booking a different hotel to stay in in my next trip to Medicine Hat .

The pool and hot tub, sauna were excellent. The price was excellent. There was a full sized fridge, which would help the many oil field workers that seemed to stay there. Loved the balcony.

The light fixture in the bathroom was a bare hanging bulb. There were no towels in the spa area. The access door to the spa on the second floor would not work with the room key 90% of the time. We tried to get our keys redone 3 times so we could have that access, only to be told by long term guests that the door was broken and that we would probably have to go down stairs and use that door. Highly inconvenient. No Air conditioning, which is fine in the winter, but it was warm and we had to keep the door and window open most of the night.

Comfortable beds.

Disgusting carpets. Peeling paint in bathroom. Excessive noise all hours of the night.

All good

you cannot beat the location for: accessibility, quiet location, shopping, snacking or dining. The price was very comparable; it is an older hotel but new owners seem to be spending a lot on new cosmetics. let us hope the prices do not increase disproportionately.

The complimentary Continental breakfast was OK, but not comparable to others we have had in the same area. While saying this, we could see that renovations were in progress which may result in choice and quality improvements

The room and linens were clean and bed comfortable. Easy private entry access and easy access to lovely pool (good temoerature) and hot tub. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice place to stay!! I would use The Imperial again!!

The price of the hotel. Please email at anytime, when you have prices below sixty-five dollars per night. We live in strathmore alberta and dont mine driveing two and a half hours to get there. To have a get away.

Bathrooms should be up dated a little more by fill in cracks in wall and around the tub with caulking.

Rooms and furniture badly need updating No toiletries in rooms, sheets paper thin Staff took no action about an all night party until they finally called the Police First room we were shown had carpets that looked like they were original to the hotel very worn and shabby We would not have stayed there if we had not prepaid The second room they showed us had the flooring redone and at least felt reasonably clean

the staff was very friendly the room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

there wasn't anything I didn't like. I didn't get to use the pool.

When we arrived our room was not ready and when we finally got in to our room it did not have the kitchen appliences it was supposed to have we had to wait till the next day for fridge and stove. They seemed very unoragnized, the house cleaning staff is very poorly groomed and dressed, on the day of check out the door key stops working right at 11am and they do not give you any extra time to pack up, we had prank calls coming to our room all the time nothing was done about it , the beds are very old and uncomfortable, the pool has way way to much clorine in it it changed the color of our swim wear, the pictures on the website have to be very old because when we got there it looked very run down

1. Piss poor internet connection. Not acceptable any longer 2. Not enough light in the room (my wife's complaint every time) 3. Continental breakfast becoming more and more limited (We have been clients for several years) 4, Cannot reserve on line directly with the Imperial Inn

When I checked into the room I found hair in the bath tub. I immediately called front desk and the receptionist showed me another room, the bath tub again had hair in it. The receptionist said housekeeping had left and she couldn't clean it. I said then I will clean the bath tub if you bring me the products. I cleaned the bath tub. Then when we got into bed there was hair on my pillow and on the sheets. So disgusted. I informed another receptionist the next day and she apologised but said she could not refund me as I booked through booking.com. I have worked in hospitality for 10 years and understand the importance of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. I have also never stayed at such a poor hotel.

Steam room not working, adult whirlpool room freezing, sauna not even warm, hard beds, towels for the pool were in the front office-had to go half way around in sub arctic conditions before you could get them (same problem for getting pass to the exercise room) -did not get any of it. We would not return even at a lower price.
