Great look to it...very helpful staff...
No fridge or microwave in room
Good staff, clean room
The location of the Parking
Pool, hot tub, room bath (spa tub), good size room c\with fridge and coffee machine that worked real well!
No lunch time meals, there was a lot of construction going on.
It's a little like staying in a fancy motel in Regina, comfortable enough in a small town kind of way. I was given a big room with a king bed, comfortably but unattractively put together. The two windows both looked into an internal court which held corridors and the check-in counter... no view to the outside world, no daylight. I had to keep the curtains permanently closed to keep some modicum of privacy. I was not informed of the lack of privacy when I booked, either online or in person (one night booked here, an additional night booked by telephone directly to the hotel). I was told, when I complained, too bad that's all we have. The restaurant is the worst of the worst. Don't eat there.
Good helpful staff
The hotel is very clean and carpet-free. It's also smack between centretown and the Byward Market, so the location couldn't be better.
The hotel appearance is bare-bones in a cost-cutting way, not a chic minimalist way. The lobby is an atrium, so noise echoes. The staff lost a reservation by combining my first name with my spouse's surname; that was annoying.
Comfortable bed and good location
I didn't like that I could hear the neighbours having sex and the children running back and forth above us as well as in the hallways. The inner courtyard facing room meant I could hear kids in the lobby. Our heater didn't work either but the staff did get us a space heater.
Very clean and comfortable
Small room for the price, but somewhat expected for a place right downtown
Great location, friendly staff, easy parking
-First hotel I stayed actually rebate with CAD5 voucher per day if choose not to change towels and bed sheets. -Excellent location -Treadmill has individual TV -Easy to find overnight parking right in front or around the hotel. Plenty of CAD10-12 whole day parking around the area
-Business centre not totally enclosed, conversation can be heard outside -Door slams close but hotel is upgrading to self soft close -Sound insulation could be better, I was on the 5th floor and could hear the traffics
Room was pretty small Restaurant hours were not that good, even thou the open time in the evening was 4pm there was no one there to greet you.
Location. Room size. bathroom ok.
Room was internal room with light from lobby shining in room all night
Staff very courteous and within walking distance of all the downtown attractions
Parking virtually non existent! I got ticketed during check in on a busy Friday night, but ticket was dropped by the City of Ottawa as a courteously to a visitor after I emailed them with an explanation.
The room was very clean and the staff was courteous and friendly. Location was pretty good, near Byward Market but not near enough to walk. The staff at the café downstairs was excellent and so was the food, although they seemed to be missing some things (like milk).
Rooms were very small, especially considering we opted for the King bed. Swimming pool area was very underwhelming; seemed like it was old and not inviting at all. At the price paid, the lack of a continental breakfast was very disappointing. Expected more based on the price paid.
Loved the walk-in shower...great for older or disabled people. Maybe if you'd like a tub you'd be disappointed, but walk-in was a bonus for me!
Thought the breakfast was a bit pricey, but I guess you're paying for the convenience? Everything else was perfect.
The room was big and nice.
We found the room very clean and the hotel staff friendly. Good location to all tourists attractions.
We were extremely disappointed in how to unload our car and load again when we left. There are only 2 parking spaces available and if they are taken, you have to drive around to wait for a spot. We ended up unloading across the street and walking across the street with our suitcases. This is unsatisfactory. When leaving we walked around with our luggage to where the car came up from the garage as once again there were no parking spaces available. The taxis have more parking spaces then the guests at the hotel. I would reconsider staying there again just for that reason.
Front desk staff.
Loud fan on top floor lobby. Free breakfast was horrible, and got called a jerk by the waitress.
Staff was very friendly. Comfy bed. Excellent value overall.
Parking a bit expensive.
personal service smallish boutique hotel with amenities large room comfortable bed
restaurant/room service was expensive and food wasn't great
We loved the friendly, helpful staff at Hotel Indigo. Our room was clean and spacious and the location is great — a couple of blocks from Parliament Hill and a short walk to the National Gallery and other venues, including the market. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel, and would certainly stay again.
This is minor: there is no stairwell, so the floors have to be accessed via elevator. Also, the parking lot is small and uncomfortably narrow for two-way traffic.
Central location, clean, parking, friendly staff.
Very comfortable beds.
Style of the hotel and location
Staff at front desk could be more proactive
Helpful, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very co.governor room. Hotel common areas were light and airy.
Nothing to dislike.
