Beautiful views of Victoria from the rooms! The staff was extremely helpful, and gave us many great recommendations. We enjoyed our dinner in the hotel's restaurant that evening. Lovely setting.
unfortunately, we were only there for one night! The balcony could have been designed a little better, and cleaned up for use. Everyone wants to take the perfect pictures!
The location of the hotel was good. It was within walking distance to the Victoria Inner Harbour, shopping and restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.
Location is great. ..could use some flowers and landscape redecorating!
Old wing is antiquated. Landscape Needs Flowers And life.
Staff was exceptional. Rooms were great.. Location was beautiful... unfortunately did not have enough time to spend in Vancouver.. Will return and stay at the Inn at Laurel Point again.
Will get lake view next time..
The view in the morning.
The room with a 'balcony' did not look at all like the one pictured! The 'balcony' was about 2'x3' with no chairs. They would not fit anyway! That was disappointing! Breakfast should also be included given the price.
the views of the bay were awesome. short to walk to the fishermans wharf.
menu was a bit to exotic for our liking and a long walk to downtown and main restaurants.
Wonderful family hotel, and the location and views were amazing. The staff was very helpful. The "family room" was nice - free tea and coffee all day, and a book exchange, as well as a quiet place to chill. The back patio was an oasis, with great views. The bathroom had been updated and was very nice.
Room needed to be painted. A piece of the heating/cooling unit needed to be repaired, it was loose and dangling at one end. A light fixture was needed in the entrance way.
Location View from room Staff was excellent The Inner Harbour area is absolutely beautiful!
Hotel is a bit dated although kept up very well. There was no outdoor pool. The location of the patio is not that great for afternoon/evening enjoyment (no sun). The security cards they are using really suck, they need to fix this, very annoying, tough getting into the parkade and ice room. The price of parking is steep especially when you can park just down the street for $6.00 a day not $17.00 something. BC taxes kill you!!! The price of the room is reasonable until you add in parking and all the taxes it really gets expensive. Their do not disturb sign needs to be re-worded to state that not staying in for the day. (should read do not disturb on one side and please make up room on the other side) Who goes to Victoria and pays $300.00 a night to stay in all day?
Friendly and very professional staff.
Generally I stay in the Eriksen wing but this was all booked so I stayed in the main part of the hotel. I found this section to be quite noisy
Good location and price.
Room was tired, not that clean and the curtains did not block the light. Noise also traveled through the walls.
Clean, modern, comfortable, no odors, attention to detail. Room was perfection. Staff very friendly, very private.
No breakfast included in a $299 room. However it wasn't a deal breaker.
no chairs on balcony was my only complaint
The location - close to the harbour and the parliament building.
The website leads you to believe all rooms have stunning views and large balconies overlooking the harbour whereas many rooms have tiny balconies and a less than panoramic view.
The place was wonderful, beautiful grounds, & interior.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
Rooms in the original hotel are small and a little dated. The three empty window tables at breakfast were blocked with reservations even though nobody turned up - irritating.
We loved the rooms with the balcony and the location. Beautiful views - just a very pleasant experience
The view is outstanding. The rooms were very comfortable & we slept very well. Restaurant was pretty delicious. On our 2nd stay there we were upgraded to a room in the newer building that was gorgeous! Thank you for that.
We stayed there twice. On the second visit the room they gave us was not up to par with the original room we had stayed in. When I contacted the manager he immediately upgraded us to a very high end room that was beautiful!
Nice location - had a room with harbor view. Some noise from the planes, but it didn't matter to us. The restaurant is delicious.
The staff were knowledgable about the area, where to eat, etc. They were friendly. We had booked for two nights and found out just before 5pm of the 2nd night that we had to get home because of a forest fire threat close to our home, the staff were very understanding and did not charge us for that night, plus offered to help us pack our things and load up our vehicle. It was very appreciated that they made it so easy for us during that stressful time.
We arrived at Laurel Point early in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful in checking us in and parking our car until a room became available. We were furnished with information about the area and advised about catching the ferry the next day. The hotel is located in a perfect place to look over the water. Walking trails as well as shopping on the promenade around the docks are located only steps away. Activities and tours can be scheduled easily and are accessible within walking distance. Our stay in Victoria was one of the highlights of our trip.
Excellent location convenient for downtown. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi A really enjoyable stay
I loved the location, right on the harbor and far enough from the busy streets that it was very tranquil.
The hotel was wonderful. It is in a fantastic location in Victoria.
Did not have enough free parking. Had to pay extra for wifi. Who does that anymore. Hotel staff was very proud of their hotel. Too snooty for our tastes.
