I'm a repeat client and stayed because of previous good experiences. It's expensive for what it is, but generally excellent services.
Noise from other guests across the hallway when I'd asked for a quiet room. Parties in guest rooms should not be allowed.
The location was good
Too expensive for what is offered. First the lobby looks shabby, the elevators and floor decorations are outdated. The furniture in the rooms are old and worn down. The staff slow but friendly. The bathroom is old and the shower has low pressure. We booked two beds but we were given a king size. Breakfast too expensive and monotonous.
I enjoyed food and shopping at Shoppers and Winners.Taxis available.
It rained both nights.
Beds where comfortable
No free internet unless u join some club
Upgrade to studio Attentive housekeeping Lots of room to spread out Helpful front desk
Great location. Close to subway and far enough away from Yonge Street.
ultra quiet room, extremely comfortable/ Had fantastic dinner with a professional and personable waiter which made it all so much fun. Great breakfast included.
$35.00 to park overnight (valet) seemed a bit much
comfort of hotel, easy access to underground station for the delights of downtown Toronto.
Would have preferred a buffet-style breakfast, especially as the service was so slow.
Internet sucks, hotline vy slow to get hold of
Location is great, close to the ROM.
No electric water boiler although there was a coffee maker.
The friendly staff
For the first time in several visits to this hotel, breakfast service was slow and arrived cool.
Excellent location!Close to museums (across street), shopping, restaurants & close enough to walk to Eaton centre, queens park.
Local traffic. But we walked to all our venues.
The gentleman at the front desk was informative, polite, professional and welcoming. Our room had a fabulous view of the CN Tower
Liked everything. The valet was great but seemed like he needed some assistance. He was polite, professional and prompt but seemed to be on his own.
Didn't like the smell of cigarettes on the eighth floor. The fact that there were pets on the floor meant there were fleas and I ended up with flea bites. The pool was not accessible to my husband who uses a wheelchair in spite of us being told it would be.
I was in Toronto with my daughter (U of T) moving in dorms. Concierge was wonderful at helping me store my packages and getting me taxied to U of T and airport. All in all everyone was very helpful in all ways.. Will definitely stay again
Location. Close to shops, cafes, restaurants, museums. Availability a fitness room, swimming pool! and sun decks!. Size of the room and furnishings is also very good, including the presence of shower cabin. Coffee machine in the room. Comfortable bed. The presence of the terrace at the restaurant - which is great. Quality of food. There is a map of restaurants in the district
Fitness room is very small and limited range of gym equipment - not for the press and the legs. Unable to immediately withdraw from the pool on the terrace - it is necessary to get through 2 doors. No clocks. For the breakfast, a really small selection of dishes - there is no possibility to order an just omelet or eggs without potatoes and sausages, instead adding fresh vegetables and greens. No white omelet. Oatmeal is not tasty .... Terrace for breakfast is not used. Perhaps does not always?Coffee machine in the room not so good level. Chocolate in the evening bring sometimes. Why? Upon arrival there was no one free bottle of water. Only once were provided with 2 small bottles of water. For those who like to rest in Asia - it is unusual. Although, for the United States and Europe, it is normal. You can make a map of stores as well, not only restaurants
Friendliness of staff and room comfort although we didn't have a view at all yet it was ok
The view of the room was gloomy, also the difficulty to park at the hotel despite the friendly valet.
Great location and service.
Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff, nice pool and terrace.
Food, personnel, location,cleanliness. Outstanding hotel.
THere was a cost to use the business center. In all my travels I have not encountered that. I had printing to do on a computer being away for a week
Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, wonderful cosy atmosphere
Nothing - really fabulous stay
Best Location. Reception staff and all very pleasant and efficient. Had an enjoyable stay.
The room was nicely furnished. The bathroom had a separate shower and bath. I liked the soaps. One of the best bathrooms in the biz. Lots of useful items in the room too, like a sewing kit with buttons and a bathrobe. The view of the courtyard restaurant was nice. I liked the fact that this Intercontinental hotel has drawers for you to put your clothes in. The furniture at the downtown location is so avant garde that there are no drawers. The front desk staff was really nice to me.
I could have done without the 2am false fire alarm which caused the hotel to be evacuated onto Bloor street for an hour. It was better than there being a real fire, I guess. They didnt offer me anything to make up for it, dont know if thats usual to expect anything. A few people told me I should have gotten some kind of discount. Im sure its not a usual occurrence. When you pull up to the hotel theres no driveway part. Just the right lane on Bloor st. If there are a lot of cars its hard to pull in. It took a long time for the car park attendant to notice me, I had to reverse and try to parallel park to squeeze in and wave out my window and honk. I think there should have been more attendants, there seemed to be only one. The WIFI at this location seemed way slower than the service at the downtown location. Netflix on my ipad was choppy.
The air conditioner was loud and came on and off automatically through the night which disturbed our sleep. There was no way to keep the fan on constantly.
