Excellent location!Close to museums (across street), shopping, restaurants & close enough to walk to Eaton centre, queens park.
Local traffic. But we walked to all our venues.
The gentleman at the front desk was informative, polite, professional and welcoming. Our room had a fabulous view of the CN Tower
Liked everything. The valet was great but seemed like he needed some assistance. He was polite, professional and prompt but seemed to be on his own.
I was in Toronto with my daughter (U of T) moving in dorms. Concierge was wonderful at helping me store my packages and getting me taxied to U of T and airport. All in all everyone was very helpful in all ways.. Will definitely stay again
Friendliness of staff and room comfort although we didn't have a view at all yet it was ok
The view of the room was gloomy, also the difficulty to park at the hotel despite the friendly valet.
Great location and service.
Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff, nice pool and terrace.
Food, personnel, location,cleanliness. Outstanding hotel.
THere was a cost to use the business center. In all my travels I have not encountered that. I had printing to do on a computer being away for a week
Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, wonderful cosy atmosphere
Nothing - really fabulous stay
Best Location. Reception staff and all very pleasant and efficient. Had an enjoyable stay.
The room was nicely furnished. The bathroom had a separate shower and bath. I liked the soaps. One of the best bathrooms in the biz. Lots of useful items in the room too, like a sewing kit with buttons and a bathrobe. The view of the courtyard restaurant was nice. I liked the fact that this Intercontinental hotel has drawers for you to put your clothes in. The furniture at the downtown location is so avant garde that there are no drawers. The front desk staff was really nice to me.
I could have done without the 2am false fire alarm which caused the hotel to be evacuated onto Bloor street for an hour. It was better than there being a real fire, I guess. They didnt offer me anything to make up for it, dont know if thats usual to expect anything. A few people told me I should have gotten some kind of discount. Im sure its not a usual occurrence. When you pull up to the hotel theres no driveway part. Just the right lane on Bloor st. If there are a lot of cars its hard to pull in. It took a long time for the car park attendant to notice me, I had to reverse and try to parallel park to squeeze in and wave out my window and honk. I think there should have been more attendants, there seemed to be only one. The WIFI at this location seemed way slower than the service at the downtown location. Netflix on my ipad was choppy.
The air conditioner was loud and came on and off automatically through the night which disturbed our sleep. There was no way to keep the fan on constantly.
Fabiana Briceno is an excellent concierge - I highly recommend her. The staff is professional - they make you feel like they care about you and do so in an elegant and respectful manner.
I wish our room had a view of the ROM but it was still an excellent value for the price we paid. No fridge.
The general atmosphere, the decoration in the room and the staff were excellent.
For no obvious readon, the box for the shower is ridiculously small. Taking a shower there is quite unconfortable. The hotel seems eager to take some extra money from its guests: unlike most of the good hotels today, wi-fi is not free. The previous week I had stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in Sy. Catherine, Canada. They offer a complementary bottle of water every day, Here, the hotel charges U$$8.00 for a bottle that costs below US$ 2.00 at any market. It is not for the money, but the attitude doesnot seem right.
Luxury accommodations, lots of amenities incl keurig coffee maker and lots of supples, full bar, and large rooms. Very quiet area if your not facing Bloor Street.
Shower stall was claustraphobic and subway runs under hotel, it stops at night but ask for high room
Staff and comfort
Gym size and chlorine concentration in the pool
The willingness of reception to go with our preferences.
Too many cards and papers with instructions and rules. Asked for Globe and Mail, got Star. Sunday morning breakfast terrible, ten times warmed over, not a smile or friendliness from waiter
The hotel staff did not provide me a good service. I ordered a cot for my nephew and it was full of bed bugs. I complained but the only thing they did was remove the cot. They should reimburse my whole stay.
everything is good quality, good service and nice area, i would stay there again
all is good, would like it was cheaper )
Great location Nice stuff Very clean
Breakfast buffet is not so good.
Location, view from room, staff, swimming pool
Colour of walls in bedrooms!
Pool needed to be cleaned
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful Loved the upgrade to a suite enjoyed the outdoor patio restaurant staff friendly and accommodating
breakfast menu was limited choice of fruit at the continental buffet disappointing Canadian breakfast uninspired coffee weak and unflavorful -even the Americano. Starbucks is right around the corner, folks - you can do better
The service was very efficient and the food good quality.
Asked for quiet room as I had early start the next morning and was given a room that overlooked noisy courtyard Complained nothing was done nor was I compensated just charged more for a room I didnt ask for. Karen Ryan
The InterContinental was very accomodating. We requested an early check in and the room was ready at 2:00 pm, when we got to the hotel. We also got a complimentary up grade to a business suite. We are very grateful for it. Wonderful room, extremely quiet, lovely bed with excellent quality bed sheets and duvet. The bath has a separate shower and bath tub, lots of hot water, great towels and bath robe. The hotel service personnel was very courteous and efficient. The location is unbeatable if you are interested in visiting the ROM.
In case the hotel's housekeeping has not noticed, there is a small dark stain in the left seat of the small couch in the room.
