This is a great hotel and well located
Almost everything is fine.
my room close to the building cooling fan,so that is the only bad thing during my stay.
we ask for a good view didn't get it.we went with another couple and ask for rooms side by side with reservations well in advance didn't get it.for the money should of got what we wanted.
The location and its connection to the Commerce Centre.
We didn't have any face cloths in our room and the furniture was very dusty. The 3 staff members we asked didn't know about the free shuttle to the casino but we figured it out ourselves.
Great location near Palais des Congrès, but also at walking distance from Vieux Montreal. Nice rooms, very clean. Breakfast all what you want. Even nice restaurant.
You have the best pillows ever made.
No free wifi. Quite minor.
spacious room and comfort
-Some vending machines would have been nice, at least on one floor. -Breakfast in hotel, overly expensive.
Great location Large room and it is always clean
Breakfast selection and choice is very limited for such a high class hotel
Location, facilities and excellent staff
The concierge, Sandy, was excellent. The location in relation to old Montreal was very good too. Aesthetically, it is a nice hotel.
Front desk service was slow. The apparatus that creates room keys was broken. $19 per day charge for guests for internet access was below the line. Really?
The room was comfortable and in a great location.
The key cards did not work for the first 24 hours we were at the hotel so every time we went out we had to be escorted back to our room to be let in. Which for the first night after a while felt we had to stay in our room so not to annoy the staff to have to come let us in again. Our phones had no dial tone for the first 24 hours as well so we had to physically go down to the front desk to ask the status on anything. The TV was also not set up properly until the phones were reset on the Saturday. On the Saturday night we returned to the hotel for a night cap at 11:00 and the bar had 8 people in it including us. At about 11:40 the bartender informed us the bar would be closing at midnight because it was not busy enough. Just after this a group of 5 people showed up and they told they were closing. So they turned them away. While they were cashing out another group of approximately 6 people showed up also wanting to have drinks and there was no staff to be found. Considering this is a high end hotel in a city that has last call that extends until 5:30 am - this was really disappointing. Most people left the property to go elsewhere.
Everything was great!
Concierge service was outstanding. Always had the info we needed and more. Tres Bon!
Check-in was a problem on June 28. Believe a cruise ship had many guests checking out late which meant our check-in was delayed. Thanks to the concierge suggestion, we used this time to do a 3 hour walk of the old city and by the time we got back our room was ready. Our suggestion is that there should have been a manager/supervisor working the lineup to explain what was happening.
Comfortable. Good location.
You have to pay for breakfast for children over 6 so it is not included in the rate, as suggested. Read the small print carefully!!
My husband and I spent a long weekend in June 2014 at the InterContinental Montreal for the Montreal Jazz Fest. We had an absolutely fantastic time! This hotel is located in a perfect location within easy walking distance of the Place des Arts and beautiful, Old Montreal. The staff was very friendly and our accommodations were lovely. We'd definitely stay here again. I recommend that you get the buffet breakfast in the morning (SO FABULOUS) in the hotel and treat yourself to dinner at Osco! one night as well. We cannot wait to come back to Montreal!
Rooms are super nice !!! But all your personalle needs more supervision !! You need new manager or a manager with more experience making sure everything runs way better !! You got 4 diamonds so it is a lot of responsability !! Not just a nice building ! So many times people waiting in the reception because you got one person ...and so so so many things that can be done better with training and supervision !! Need to be done urgent !!!
Uff !! You need a long list and a long letter !! Send me an email and I will send you all the bad review ! The point is the difference between a nice hotel and your hotel should be the service and you got it all all all wrong !! So not worth the money !!
Bell boy was excellent and friendly We were upgraded to a suite, great, but its all quite old fashioned.
Very slow food service at breakfast lunch and dinner. Front desk person was arrogant.
Excellent location in the walking distance of the historic centre and the official premises. The most exciting thing is the quiet environment created inside the hotel, very sensitive attitude provided by the staff to visitors' needs.
The staff went out of their way to help with whatever request I had. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of Old Montreal, many wonderful sights, great dining establishments, and prime shopping.
The parking is public and the floors for hotel parking were not well marked (9th & 12th parking levels I found out after I had parked in reserved parking under the hotel sign that I expected was reserved for the hotel ... I was wrong) It needs to be better marked and the hotel should be clear when you check in.
Beautiful hotel! Walking distance to old Montreal as well as the shopping district....Perfect!
Hotel located in excellent location within a walking distance to old city and downtown. Also there is a metro stop near by if you need it. Big and Very clean room and all parts of a hotel. Big pharmacy next block with some food sold there.
Montreal is expensive and very city. There is no supermarket near the hotel.
I liked my room and the space it had I also liked the atmosphere
I hated my experience at check in and check out. Horrible customer service, very judgmental and did not want to listen only wanted to argue back. Never going back simply because of the staff at the reception
