We had a two beds room instead of a King as reserved because when you book through Booking.com the room choice is not guaranteed. Frustrating...
Location, room, bed, restaurant, whole hotel is delicious experience. Breakfast is just superb. Metro around the corner
Wifi not included. 18 dolllar extra :|
We had a great time. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. The area it's located in is kind of confusing and the parking was annoying because u have to go down 9 levels to park, but it was a overall very good. We would stay here again.
Our room was exactly what we asked for...thank you. Staff exceptionally helpful with our excessive baggage also!
Jerry from the concierge was the best, he arranged my flight changes, he was my hero for the day, I hope he will receive this message, Tom Phlippo from Belgium.
The location and look of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff. The view of the room.
The room was slightly dirty (e.g there was some dirt behind the room door, and some hair in the toilet) nothing major really.
The location was great.
The staff was not helpful at all. I called the concierge and front desk a number of times and was asked if they could call me back because they were busy and each time I never received a call back. Our room was also a little dirty. For a four star hotel I felt the service was considerably lacking.
(Almost) all the staff at the reception and in the restaurants very friendly and professional. The room was nicely decorated, very spacious with a super quality bed. The food in the restaurants was great value for the money.
The first lady at the reception give us a wrong room and didn't want to listen what has been reserved. Luckily I had the reservation printed and thereafter, the change of room was smooth (with another receptonist).
If you have a car, the Hotel is very well situated. It is also at the edge of the old town, but uptown is also near. The rooms (I stayed on two occasions and a total of 4 nights on this trip) were very quiet (corner rooms). Breakfast buffet very nice. The Wifi is free if you are in Priority Club.
If there is one thing, it is the car park. It is VERY expensive and you have to drive right down to the center of the earth, as parking is allowed only from P9 to P12 (the rest is reserved). To get to your room, you then need to change elevators twice. But there you are, you can either take it leave it (the second not really being an option).
Bathrooms were old and moldy Finishings in rooms were outdated
The club lounge and the view from the 26th floor.
No bubbles available in the club lounge at happy hour :(
Friendliness of the staff, great breakfast, location and big rooms
A bit outdated decoration
From the beginning till the end this was a perfect place to stay in Montreal. The staff was great, both pleasant, friendly and helpful. Become a frequent traveler with them and get free wifi. We selected this brand because we used them in Chicago. You won't be disappointed.
The staff was great and location.
Mattress to soft
Rooms were very clean and nice.
We went to the main restaurant for breakfast. We took the buffet and it wasn't really good for the cost. ($24 per person.)
Our room is very clean & the service of the staff is excellent ... Location is good ... Walking distance to the Notre Dame Basilica, St. Patrick, restaurant (good food), China Town, Metro train, Central station (Via Rail Canada)& shopping malls...
The only was a 10 minute walk to the old port which was convenient and close to restaurants, etc.
There was no place to really self park or to park on the street so valet parking was the only option. An expensive add on to an already expensive room rate. Additionally, our television didn't work (no ability to increase the sound). Not a huge deal but when you want to lay back and relax for 10mins it would have been nice to be able to hear the TV. I wouldn't necessarily recommend. There are a number of hotels in the area and I would try another one first.
Great location, parking on site, lots of amenities around.
No remote for the TV Grout in shower was moldy
This property delivers on the quality and service excellence of the IHG brand. There is no doubt this is a real 5-star accommodation. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The included breakfast buffet is excellent.
The hotel is centrally located for business, but it is in a bit of a social dead zone between downtown and the old port. There is a bit of a taxi ride to/from the Plateau.
Location Good staff Excellent level of service Helpful & quick to respond to requests Easy to get to Exhibition Centre Close to Old Montreal
Expensive buffet breakfast
Close to all tourist areas, great eating places close by.great value for money, after travelling for 24 days on a ship, room ready when we arrived at 0945, great service
Had to ask 3 times for the batteries to be changed in the bathroom scales, left newspapers at the end of the bed ready to read before going to sleep & after the maid came through, they were gone
The porters were extremely helpful and friendly. the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. It was useful being able to have a late checkout. The food was good and I liked the 'kitchen' area where the breakfast buffet was served. The chef was very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. Bar staff were good.
We gave up waiting one day for the concierge. He was busy with somebody else to be fair. We were waiting for ages to be seen by the staff on reception to deposit our luggage until we checked out. The table d'hote menu at Osco's was not explained well. There was confusion amongst two other couples sitting near us in the restaurant, so it was not just us!
Comfort, location and the facilities
WiFi had to be requested as a free option. You can buy a coffe in a Starbucks cafe for $2.50 and get free WiFi but it is not automatic when you pay $200 plus dollars for a room in an Intercontinental hotel. Very strange policy.
The warmth and willingness of staff.
Error on my invoice! It is good to always have your confirmation . Or at least to remember your quoted room price
