Staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The pool was not esthetically friendly (looked dingy).

We liked the decor and layout How expensive it was to park, that there isn't free wifi since most hotels offer that, and how expensive the movie selection is

Excellent location. Reasonably affordable, compared to the rest of downtown Calgary. Coffee/water in lobby is a nice touch. Hair dryers would die before I finished blow drying my har. Taps were mislabeled (hot & cold). Sometimes it took forever to get hot water.

Having a living room, dining table & kitchenette is great. I get up early & hate to have to read or crochet in the bathtub, or on the toilet while waiting for my husband or colleague to wake up. I like to be able to prepare our own breakfasts, so having a kitchenette is wonderful! (1) It would be nice if the doors to the bedroom were solid rather than etched glass so if someone wants to stay up late or get up early the living room or dining room lamp lights do not bother the 'sleeper(s)'. (2) Some cutlery & dishes should be in suite without having to ask for them, even if plastic & cardboard (that is, if you are concerned about people stealing them). (3) I used the stairwell 1 day as the elevators were so slow, and found that the main floor was not accessible from the stairwell - poor design. I ended up in the basement!

I was upgraded to the orchid floor, it was a nice touch to a long day. The ladies only floor had some fantastic perks at the end of a tiring day. Staff was very unprofessional.

Nothing Impolite personnel, after check out not even goodbye, thank you, etc…. Very cold in the room at arrival (slept with the blanket over the head), can’t regulate the temperature, outside -10° C. Bathroom facilities archaic; Poor maintenance of installations, internet wireless even paid was very unstable, disconnecting very often. Even after I request activation for it, the reception forgot to activate and not functional. Wired internet access functional only first day, after that not functional. Restaurant very small and not enough tables for single/double clients. Service at restaurant very slow, no buffet service even the room was 200 + Euros per night. Very expensive (breakfast is more than 25 dollars). In general this hotel is way too expensive for the service provided. Never again returning to this hotel.

The bed was extremely comftorable!! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful:) The room service was extremely expensive and not enough selection for appetizers, would have liked to have seen nachos or potato skins or something to munch on other than a sandwich or a main course.

Location in Downton Calgary. Access to the +15 walkway. Hotel and room decor was outdated. Customer service was OK, but not acceptional concidering the cost of the room. In room dining was very expensive and not a very extensive menu. No free wireless.

Spacious, downtown, I am happy to have a discount rate. Would not consider value for the normal price asked. The fitness facility is small outdated. Spend some bucks and bring it into the 21st century. I did no consider the booking clerks overtly friendly

I loved the fact that unless I mistaken every room is a suite. I felt right at home here. It is 5 blocks from the Calgary Tower the location doesn't get any better than this. Like any other big city parking is always a problem and more so when you are driving a pick-up truck.

The room was fine and the food serves was very good The hallways were shabby and not inviting. The lobby was not kept in a clean and inviting condition. I felt in comparison to other hotels in other cities, including international cities the price was high for the product.

Comfortable beds, spacious suites which seemed quite clean. Ice machine on floor did not work, room lacked tools in the living/refreshment area (Hotel staff was not very helpful), we felt for 309$ a night and the parking for around 90$ we should have received substantially more luxury. I would not recommend this hotel - sorry.

Large room Plumbing fixtures falling off wall. Being woken up at 3:30 a.m. By a wild party next door. Cigarette and marijuana smoke filtering into my room from said party because windows are old and don't seal properly.

The room was nice. I did not like that the staff did not warn us when we first checked in that there were many vehicle break ins where they told us to park and when we went to our truck in the morning we had a window smashed and many things missing including dj equipment and a laptop. Not being from Calgary, I expect the hotel staff to warn us that the place they tell us to park is not safe. I also did not like how the room was absolutely freezing cold when we arrived so i cranked the heat and it only warmed up 3 degrees during the whole night. I was shivering the whole time I was there.

Great location The price is not justified by the hotel. Costs should be around 2/3rds or less of current pricing.
