The home is stunning. Decor and antiques add to the warm atmosphere and Elizabeth also very warm checking to be sure you have what you need. Walking distance to many restaurant choices.
We stayed in Inverness High Park B&B for 4 nights and we felt like beeing part of the family. Elisabeth gave us the best instructions to get around in Toronto. The B&B is only a short walk from the next METRO - Station. The room and attached bathroom were absolutely top and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Thanks for everything, we hope to go back to Toronto one of these days.
Location, hospitality, bed, breakfast, environment and conversation and company
Beautiful 'arts & crafts' home in a very nice neighbourhood. The location was convenient for us, close to our son's place. Friendly host. Nice bedroom and shower.
* the host Elizabeth was very friendly * nice area (near High Park, restaurants, 10 minutes walk to subway)
* bathroom facilities * its far from downtown Toronto (30 minutes or more by subway)
Flexible friendly service
That's why the B&B accomodation is so much better than any anonymous hotel chain: Elizabeth was a great host and gave us lots of hints and ideas for visits during the two days we had in Toronto (a really wonderful city). And her assistance when I noticed that I had forgotten some important items was fabolous! She organized that we received them at the Niagara Falls where our next stop was.
The room we had was very nice, however it was not optimal that the bathtub was in the room itself.
Good place to stay, very good homemade breakfast, not very far from the subway.
Quiet, clean, friendly, great food, and good location.
A bit too pricy, would have loved to have stayed one more night, but too expensive for us.
The hostess, Elizabeth, is what makes this place so amazing. Friendly and ever helpful. And she creates the best breakfast (and a nutritious one too). Beds were perfect; I usually get backpain when sleeping in a bed that is not mine. Not here: firm bed yet not hard. It's a nice and quiet neighbourhood. If I'm going back to Toronto, I will definitely stay here; there is simply no competition.
We stayed at the Inverness High Park B&B on our honeymoon, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Elizabeth is a very kind, welcoming, and courteous host. Her breakfasts are healthy, delicious, and filling. She was helpful in giving recommendations for things to see and do in Toronto and even helped us book reservations for dinner at the CN Tower. We stayed in the deluxe queen room with private bathroom and loved the atmosphere of the room. This was our first stay at the B&B and definitely not our last!
Area of the B & B was very close to Metro and restaurants. The host Elizabeth was very friendly and her breakfasts were wonderful. The room and bed was very comfortable. I felt as if I was staying with a friend.
Elizabeth is a very welcoming and accommodating hostess! Great healthy breakfast.
Elizabeth was a good hostess, the furnishings were impressive, and the location of the B&B was good.
The double room on the second floor facing the street was uncomfortably warm. We used the box fan in the room to try to make the room more comfortable for sleeping. (I noticed the next morning at breakfast that there was a thermostat but the AC was turned off.) The blinds while attractive were translucent, letting in the bright light from the nearby street light. While we spent nine nights at B&Bs during our stay in Canada, this is the only B&B at which we were asked to take off our shoes when entering the house (apparently a Canadian custom). The breakfast was healthy but limited in variety and quantity.
Elizabeth was wonderfull very good hospitality
