Spacious, location to subway line, great value for the money
Could hear guests in the hallway
Location not the best, Room was weird with window that had no covering that let in street light all night. Free breakfast was just bread, white and wheat and three cold cereals.
Friendly staff, close to bus stop and subway station.
Room was a little stuffy, elevator very small and squeaked loudly. You could hear neighbouring rooms and hallway quite clearly.
Friendly staff Clean room Great location Bar underneath hotel
Could do a bit more variety for breakfast
Very good position, less than 5 minutes walking from Sherbourne metro station
Very poor breakfast The room was not so clean, we found hair everywhere
My husband & i stayed the night for his brothers wedding. It was worth the nights stay. Very comfy beds.
The complementary breakfast was definetely not what we expected... we were expecting more then just cereal & i had gone over the payment with a debit card and the security deposit but it completely changed when we got there and the security deposit was greater then what they had said it would be. Please be more thorough with the payment options and security deposits so the customers know and dont get slammed when they get there. And please make it known that there should not be an option for a smoking room if it is not allowed in the building.
I had an awesome stay with my girlfriend. Staff were really kind and helpful!
Bring your own cork screw!
The setup and outside patio/bar
No towels soap or shampoo in room!
Updated rooms looked nice. close to subway.
Dirty carpets and dirty comforter. Also air con barely worked and it was 30 degrees in our room
renovated and clean
The breakfast is very poor
Paid parking with very few spots, everything is old, more like a hostel
Good location Nice pub&restaurant Excellent staff Good wifi
The room was too small (not enough for 2 people and 2 big suitcases) and with a little little window. Definately hard to relax inside
It was a room
Nowhere conditioning No air-conditioning
- sofa bed was broken and not appropriate for sleeping at all (at least we got a discount for that) - room not prepared for 4 people even though we booked for a group of 4 (pillows, blankets, towels were missing) - not able to talk to the manager of the hotel since her mailbox was full - breakfast ridicolous (e.g. not enough organge juice and apart from some muffins there was nothing) - toilet seat was broken
Hotel parking too small. We could not park there our car and had to park in a very expensive parking nearby (25 cad/day)
Near Sherbourne subway station, easy to find. It's a clean room.
The wifi only can connect by one device, and often out of connection. The breakfast so so.
Staff very friendly and helpful with everything I needed. Gabby's bar in the basement is a great place to four drinks and a meal.
Continental breakfast was poor with small rooms.
Good location, Good common lobby, nice staffs, with breakfast
Room was not clean, window was quite small and no sunshine, towels were dirty
Despite the small size, the room was quite cozy and comfortable. Everything about it was exactly as you'd expect for the price. The washroom amenities were good quality, the room thermostat was responsive, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
A more proper computer desk would've been appreciated. Since there was a fridge underneath, the orientation of the table didn't exactly allow for a proper typing position. More coat hangers would be nice, but that's a really nitpicky thing to bring up.
We stayed two nights, we chose this hotel for price and location, but in the end the only thing good that we have is the location. No maid service so you have to make your bed and clean your room. Breakfast is minimal and there are only two tables to have breakfast. The room is really dirty and noisy. To all this we must add that they will try to charge you $ 199 a night because they do not use the price of booking .. I claimed that the price of booking was different and they corrected but mysteriously when I paid the price was wrong again charging me $199 for the first night. I complained again and then they charged me almost the price of booking.com but still not the same... Seems like they make mistakes aware. Not a legit hotel. Be watchful when you paid.
Good location and close to subway station. Everything is modern and clean. Great pub restaurant in the basement and terasse (can't hear from the rooms)
Continental breakfast is basic and removed exactly at 10am
First time to Canada and soon got to know how transport worked. Staff very friendly at Isabella and room basic but had double bed which was a bonus and was very clean. Basic breakfast but had everything that I needed..
Being first time in Toronto I found that the places I wanted to visit were a fair distance away. Luckily the weather was good most of the time but I did do an awful lot of walking.
Comfy and nice feel. NIce neighbourhood.
