Friendly house keeper. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and yet reasonably priced.
External appearance is shabby.
The location was excellent. Also, having parking was great
The breakfast room and the breakfast were very inadequate. The bathroom was minute and needed new fixtures
Close to bus stop
Very noisy. Had to put in ear plugs to get to sleep. Manager lost the booking. $25 "late check-in fee" eliminated any hopes of saving money over real hotels even though I arrived at the hotel before 9PM (flight got into the airport after 7).
The price and availability were excellent. For people who just want a place to sleep & get cleaned up after touring, this is excellent.
The many stairs to the top floor were draining. The choices for breakfast was a bit skimpy. For a longer stay, the small bathroom would be nerve-wracking.
Staff very nice and accommodating. Rooms clean.
Not many choices for breakfast.. Only can eat so many eggs but the eggs were very well made.
Location was reasonable. Mid town.
Placed on top floor. Stairs so steep nearly on hands and knees getting up. No one to help with bags and not being young was not good. Had carpet cleaner come to steam clean while there so ended up with wet floor, pulled bed out to pick something up and behind and under bed filthy. Not a good stay. Would not recommend.
Actually nothing; everything was below our expectation based on the description on the website booking.com. This was by far our worst experience on our tour of the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada. After this disappointment we have not booked once again through booking.com.
Bad beds, bathroom for very small people, skinny establishments, WiFi doesn't work (we had to go to the breakfast room in the basement), breakfast was very poor. Way over priced (here was cut back on everything). Fortunately we usually had quite good experiences in the price range $ 80-120.
The little details. The cracked bathroom floor tiles. Lack of shampoo. The price is the same as two hotels within a block, but the product is far inferior.
stair climbing difficulty
Very friendly and helpful hostess, and very child-friendly. The room was a good size and clean, and the hotel very homely.
