The cabin was on excellent location with scenic refers meeting
Everything looked ok
The cabins were comfortable and felt like you were away from it all. The on site restaurant was the best meal we had.
Location, value for money, views, setting. Small bathroom but excellent shower.
Bed could have been bigger (but it was comfortable). Breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. Large free-standing air-con unit very noisy if needed (fortunately when we were there we didn't)
Very quiet and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Easy to access mountain bike trails or walk. Woke one morning to find an elk peering in our window !! Perfect place for our couple of night stopover in Jasper. Cabins are cosy and homely. Perfect.
Excellent location near Jasper town centre, but very quiet with glorious outlook from the terrace over the river.
The smoke alarm kept on going off when we had a log fire. A small microwave would have been a useful addition.
Peaceful atmosphere Fantastic Location
We were under the impression that we had booked a cabin. Upon arrival this was not so. We did receive a cabin for more money, but were very disappointed in this. We are not the only ones this has happened to.
Log fire Old fashioned style Wifi worked Had a cooker, fridge, sink, coffee maker etc
No TV Have to pay extra for more firewood Pricey Small bathroom
Quiet surroundings outside the city proper.
Fireplace had only unseasoned wood to burn...or really not burn would be more accurate. Shower was tight, very little room to maneuver.
The view outside the cabin was nice.
Overpriced! For the money, could have stayed in a nicer hotel with better amenities. It was not very clean. New paint job outside but inside dingy.
Loved the views from the lodge, and walking distance to town.
We were in a beautiful cabin with a fire place and cut up wood just waiting to warm up the space.Around us a forest and when we walked down a short trail,we reached a beautiful lake.
Location was nice, easy to get into Jasper (10 minute walk). Good option to hire bikes, lots of local trails - some not for the faint-hearted! Lovely staff. Cabin clean and cosy.
Little bit pricey. Our chimney was blocked so when trying to light a romantic fire the whole cabin filled with smoke.
Close to the most attraction place in jasper , quite and friendly environment
Pretty and convenient location.
Extremely small space. Cabin 18 poorly located. No privacy.
Amazing view and walking trails! Breakfast was good.
Parking is not good for lodge stayers !
A quiet cabin amid the trees after a long day of exploring the Columbia Icefields. We were able to make both our dinner and breakfast in the cabin as the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed behind the curtain was great fun for our grandson. Staff friendly . great location. Would stay again.
A bit pricey, but it was summer in Jasper.
The surroundings are very beatiful. The staff highly dedicated and pleasant, intent on providing a meaninful holiday to it's clients.
I travel a lot and find the room high priced and very basic for the price.I didn''t expect tò climb stairs to my room. I also found the dining room very accomodating and the food exquisite. However, fabric table cloths and serviettes should be a must for special occasions, especially a wedding.
Quiet location close to town with a wonderful view from the ridge. It was a great spot to base a couple days in Jasper out of with a kitchen
Low doorways getting into cottage
The setting and property were beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Our room was very well appointed with locally made products and a nice selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The lounge was very nice and we enjoyed the small selection of books available. The proximity to Jasper is perfect.
We rented a room in the hotel section of the lodge. Our room was above the dining room and beside a very large and loud ventilation fan attached to the kitchen of the dining room. Noise from the dining room and fan continued until after 11pm. The nightly rate was also very expensive for how tiny the room was but high season accommodation in Jasper is generally very expensive. I think it is better value to pay more and stay in one of the Tekarra cabins.
Exactly as described! We have stayed here before so new what to expect. Wonderful location, quaint accommodation. Would highly recommend!
Nice location and exquisite restaurant. Very friendly staff
The bedrooms in the guest house are extremely small. Our shower didn't work properly (very low water pressure).
The view of the lake was amazing. The food was incredebile I give it a 5 stars. The bed was very confortable and we had a air conditionner in the room witch was very appreciated.
I would of like if the room had a refrigerator and a tv, for the price we pay we expected them in our room. But overall we had a great stay.
It was costly especially the restaurant The receptionist on leaving was a bit narly(Not very helpful)
Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Tekarra Lodge is far enough away from the bustle of town to be quiet, but not far enough to feel isolated. The staff was very helpful.
It was unusually warm when we arrived. It would have been nice if they had pulled the curtains in the cabin to keep it cooler.
Location and proximity to the town. Excellent premises and location close to the river
Overprized Didnt live upto expectations in terms of size and the kitchen facilities. Smoke alarm was going off very often as there was no kitchen exhaust.
