Room and bed big enough. Enough showers and toilets. Kaisar (host) is very friendly and willing to help you. Refrigerator available. Location is great (between university and downtown, near subway). Wifi is a bit slow. Rooms are a bit noisy because of the thin walls.

Well, I had to cancel my stay a few days before and they charged me as if I had stayed there. That's a horrible way to do business. Moreover, the staff didn't respond my emails when I asked them about refunds/whether there would be a penalty fee, they simply ignored it. I will never book this guest house again and will definitely not recommend it to my friends.

The location is great - walk to Chinatown, walk to University, walk to the Royal Ontario Museum. The price was much cheaper than any hotel I could get at the time It was very quiet (apparently the Karaoke place other travelors mentioned is no longer or was silent). The room was windowless and tiny - it is a hostel after all! Don't park on the street - I got a ticket - but go across the street closer to Spadina, there is a cheap and convenient lot for $7 a day, $5 a night. I wish someone had said that earlier.

I liked the proximity to the place I attended classes. And the price. It was not for someone my age (56). There was no staff on hand at the reception desk. It was easy to get lost inside! It was more of a youth hostel.

The people in the guest house is great. Not so loud as in most hostels, but with the possibility to know really nice people.

Incredibly sweet staff - just like everybody else in Toronto, very nice! Warm water! The kitchen, maybe? The very small room - but it was no problem at all.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, Kaisar is a very courteous and polite hotel owner. Good value for money. Easy to get to from the airport by using public transportation. On a main street so is walking distance to the rest of the downtown area and has bus stops right by the building. College street is so vibrant tonight! Comfortable rooms and nice kitchen. An availability of trips to the city and to the Niagara Falls from Kaisar October 11-13 of 2012 - It was very cold in the room 9b these days. I could get warm only under my quilt. Wifi had a very strange action during these days. Speeds of internet could be very slow

The staff were super friendly, and the location was really walkable to my conference at the University of Toronto. The room was also far larger and nicer than I expected for the price. I've already recommended it to a couple of friends.

Low cost close to University of Toronto, Kensington, Queen West, etc. Nothing really, but I wasn't looking for fancy place to stay. If you have travelled in hostels and hotels in Europe and Asia the Kaisar will be just fine for you. If you only travel in North America and stay at Holiday Inn or Marriott Hotels then you may not find the Kaisar Guest House up to your standard.

Easy to get to from the airport by using public transportation. On a main street so is walking distance to the rest of the downtown area and has bus stops right by the building. Big room and bathroom. There were dead bugs on the floor along the walls in the bedroom.

Very friendly greeting by Kaiser. Facilities were very clean. Very steep, narrow stair to climb. People staying in the rooms on the upper room could be caught in a fire trap because there is only one means of exit: down a very steep set of stair towards any fire below.

Sijainti on ihanteellinen !Little italy ,Chinatown ja Kensington market olivat parin minuutin kävelymatkan päässä.
