The luxury suite was very nice but more like a junior suite Bathrooms were well appointed Staff were all high quality people, very personal service The Chef's table was excellent

Arrival felt a bit dubious - parking at the side of building and no one to greet at door and help with luggage- although that was rectified immediately on entry into the lobby. Although the restaurant was very good - no simple menu was available - so I would not eat there every night.

The luxury room was fantastic. Had all the amenities one could want in a room to treat a young couple. Fireplace..balcony. .excellent view! By far a room I could live in!

The price is pretty steep..for a place that seemed to be near empty...I would have wanted to stay longer.

Sound of garbage trucks right outside our room at a very early time of the morning around 6:30-7 am were outrageously loud and awoke us from our sleep many times. This ruined our night and morning and it was even a holiday morning where the noise was unacceptable for a really nice honeymoon room like that.

Staff was friendly. Food was excellent.

Our room was right on memorial drive. The traffic was very loud. We had to buy earplugs to be able to sleep. There were no rooms that were appropriate at the back of hotel. Staff tried to relocate us within hotel. I would not stay there for that reason again. Also our room was not completely cleaned when staff came in to tidy up.

The Inn seemed fairly new and the decor was excellent. The room was large and the bathroom was excellent to unwind at the end of the day. The breakfast was also very good and all the service staff were very friendly.

My room was extremely noisy. I was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. Not only was there a lot of street noise, there was also a lot of noise in the lobby area that I could hear all night. I did complain to the front desk in the morning that staff should not be talking to each other in the lobby in the middle of the night as you can hear everything.

Unfortunately, well below expectations in relation to the price paid. Reservation erroneously deleted, no room available on arrival, room change because that was assigned has dirty bathroom (nails on the floor!); work in progress on the landing (not mentioned on the hotel website), very rough cleaning (dust everywhere)

My husband and i eloped at the kensington riverside inn. we had the most wonderful time. amazing service! our wedding was to intimate and yet still very special. dinner was fantastic. we cant say enough wonderful things about the inn and their staff. thankyou for making our stay so incredible

This is a nice boutique type hotel. We stayed at Kensington Riverside Inn for one night before heading out to Banff and Jasper. We arrived late at night and the staff were very helpful with questions regarding where to go for a late dinner. The hotel room was very comfortable and the bathroom large and clean. We also had a car and was able to use the underground parking garage while we exploring the city the following day. I would recommend this hotel.

I was surprised that the king sized bed was actually two singles pushed together, which I found uncomfortable, as I kept falling in the crack. Also I prefer to make my own coffee my room, rather than wait for coffee to be delivered. The restaurant opened at 7:00 am and my meetings started at 7:00 am, so it was not possible for me to use the free breakfast vouchers.

Kensington Riverside Inn is a beautiful, cozy, intimate accommodation in a city atmosphere. My husband had to be in Calgary on business and we had the day on Saturday to relax so selected this place because of positive reviews on the web, and the location, as well as the value compared to other accommodations. We were looking for an atmospheric place. Kri fit the bill and we loved the decor, the friendly, accommodating service, and the excellent breakfast. We liked that breakfast was served until 1:00 on weekends, so there was no rush on Saturday morning. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were a nice size. Liked the fireplace in the room. The Inn was elegant and comfortable--didn't feel like a hotel. The people working there were very warm and helpful.

I thought the rooms could have had better lighting. I like the option of having a bright room day or night, and I need a bright light for reading. I would have liked to have known before we arrived that renovations were going on. We had a room right next to renovations which started a little before 9:00 on our one morning to relax. Hammering, drilling-- even if we weren't sleeping, it was annoying! They very kindly moved us to another room so that our afternoon could be enjoyed in the room--they had been fully booked the night before so we were glad there was a quiet room available for the Saturday afternoon. We would not have been able to stay in the original room with the amount of noise.

The staff are reall accomodating and cannot do enough to help. One of the nicest features is each morning they leave you freshly made tea or coffee outside your room - it seems like nothing much but makes a real difference whilst you are getting ready! Breakfast is lovely - but quite rich - they could do with some healthier options.

It's a lovely boutique hotel, perfect for a short trip. Would love it if they had soy milk offered.... I had to keep going round the corner to Starbucks for a coffee!!

Hotel pequeño, cálido

No nos dieron la habitacion que habíamos reservado, sino una de menor categoria, Restaurant muy caro, desayuno muy elaborado,sin cosas sencillas para comer, poco personal para atender las necesidades

The hotel bed was the very best hotel bed I've ever slept in! The size of the hotel (small) is a great feature. The restaurant is positively over the top!

On saturday nite the noise from a large function in the downstairs lounge made sleeping difficult on the 2nd floor.

I wished that breakfast started before 7am. early risers must wait

It was welcoming, warm, and conveniently located, also cosy and the room was as described. Coffee service and breakfast vouchers were a nice surprise

Breakfast took a while to make and was a bit cold Window soundproofing wasn't great, heard birds all night and a tad too early in the morning
