Great location for a hotel, right in the middle of downtown, near the shops and restaurants. Smaller hotel and great for your budget as it has the same amenities as other hotel just not as "fancy". There is free indoor parking just behind the hotel and if it is too busy, they have $5 parking underground. Great overall experience who those want a comfortable and simple room that won't cost you a fortune!

located right down town Banff. Too expensive for what you get. It was very outdated and the rooms where very small. the barf stains in the hallways were yuck!

Perfect location. Historic building. Cheap lodging with pristine cleanliness. You can't beat the price for Banff. Its comparable in price to a single bed in a 6 person room inside a backpackers. Have stayed here a few times. And will always go back. I work at a 4 star resort lodge and the service is always great and is comparable to the service you receive at a 4 or 5 star establishment. The rooms are a bit "outdated" but the location, cleanliness and overall feel of the place is absolutely amazing.

Nice location. It places at center of the downtown Banff There was no main light at the ceiling, just 2 bed lamp and 1 large bed lamp.

The location is good. The staff is helpful with local information. I was quite happy until I went to bed trtying to sleep. Then I found out that the central air conditioner sounds like a train passing by. Even I put up ear plugs, I still couldn't sleep unyil 3am. It was really awful to have a holiday in such a hotel. The air conditioner is too noisy. I was also bitten by some insect in the room.

The location was on the main street. Pro and con. Depends on how lightly you sleep or sensitivity to back ground noise The location on the main street was noisy. Pro and con.

Location...but we learned that everything in Banff is very close, so the location isn't as important as we'd thought. Very noisy..from the street crowds,traffic,night club, etc.The elevator needs a sunscreen so it's not 110 degrees Fahrenheit inside all day long.
