The landlady, Faith, was expecting me and her sense of humour was the first welcoming sign and foretold my pleasant stay at the King George. I will go again; I must go again, to savour her famous breakfast!

    The brevity of my stay!

In many aspects, The King George Inn was as good as any other B&B that we stayed at during our holiday in Nova Scotia. What made this B&B stand out, was the exceptional way we were greeted and entertained by Faith, our hostess. She was the "best"!

The innkeeper was rude, bossy and unpleasant. I would never stay there again.

    decor was great and nostalgic

stayed at quite a few B&Bs, this was not one that I would go back. although the decor was impressive, what bothered us were the bathrooms in the family suite, which were small and dark and not updated. one of the entrance was like closet door, awkwardly behind the door to the room. in room AC unit was loud, so difficult to sleep, TV was small to watch comfortably in the bed. not sure how others rated it 4-star.

    Ensure bathroom. Upstairs sitting area.

Loud music. Internet connection was poor. Had to leave the bedroom to connect and stay connected. Hostess was overly anxious to please making us a little nervous and uncomfortable.

The proprieter was a helpful person. The bed was very comfortable. It is close to some nice restaurants.

The room had too much furniture in it, which made it crowded with two pieces of luggage.

Emphasis on Victorian items, furniture etc. required a lot of reseach and work..very different but comfortable.

The building and the furnishings were attractive. Faith, the manager/hostess/concierge/duenna and den mother was unique. She shamelessly self-promotes and works incredibly hard at delivering everything she promises. From lectures and demonstrations on Victorian table setting and manners to making reservations for "two lovely people staying at the King George" to meeting our every request, she goes above and beyond. She also has a great car. I don't recall meeting anyone in Annapolis Royal who didn't know her.

The bathroom was a converted closet. It was a really good conversion, but closets are still pretty small. This is a quibble. I would stay there again.

Faith, the innkeeper, was down-to-earth and relaxed from the beginning, which relaxed both of us. She gave us the "low down" on local restaurants and the night time graveyard tour (which we hadn't known about due to poor planning, but loved - thanks to the recommendation). The inn was very unique with it's antiques, and chats with Faith were also something of a history lesson in Victorian culture. Very comfortable room, great wifi, and a nice home-style breakfast. (which we especially appreciated after eating large breakfasts at restaurants - perfect) We've already recommended to friends and when we can get back to the area in a few years with family from Japan we'll be staying at the King George Inn.

Can't recall disliking anything. We wished we had time to stay longer.

King George is a cosy, easy-going atmosphere Inn. Faith, the inn keeper, greeted us with warmth and a great sense of humor. The breakfast is hearthy and heathy. We certainly would return when in Annapolis Royal.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and made our stay very fun and enjoyable. The rooms were cute and Victorian, and we received a free upgrade. When one of us experienced a migraine, the owner was extremely sympathetic and helpful.

The innkeeper was very helpful. She keeps an eye on everything and everybody which can be positive but sometimes also a bit disturbing. The room and the whole house is decorated with a lot of tiny things what makes it special and unique. Warm welcome.

Wifi didnt't work in the room. Breakfast was ok but not really exceptional. Pancakes could be baked freshly and some toast would be great. All details about the house, dinner possibilities and rules were a bit constricting.
