The guy on reception was wonderful and couldn't help enough, quickly offering me his personal mobile to make an INTERNATIONAL call when I was having issues with my travel card. The place is comfortable, secure and mostly clean. Can't expect more than that for the price you're paying.
* Unkind staff * I had to ask for my room to be clean after 2 days * The air-conditioner was SO noisy
The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and new. But......for 150 bucks I expected a lot more. I had to park 2 blocks away. Which cost another 15 bucks. Me and my girlfriend went for a small walk and got approached by a homeless man bagging for change. And the breakfast was the worst. Your choices where stale toast with jam or stale toast with jam. There was no juice or water to drink. So on a scale of ten I'd rate it 4.
Everything about the hotel
Very good location although it wasn't in the best neighborhood it was still close to everything.
No elevators and the A/C squeaked a lot. Also the housekeepers did not clean my room one day of my stay and I had to ask the front desk to make sure it was cleaned the next day
The surroundings are horrible full of homeless. The place is dirty i saw a bug eating pieces of waffles near waffle machine.
Location is ok
Old, not very clean, poor breakfast... Looks bad...
Cheap prize; reasonably clean room
Really scary neighbourhood unfortunately; horrible breakfast (orange juice from powder!!??), main hall and corridor to the room dirty.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed. They were very rude and inconsiderate. No towels or face clothes. No ice. Prostitutes are coming in and out all night. Chipped paint. Very small. Dirty floors. Very uncomfortable bed.
Breakfast choice every morning
We had to ask for our room the be cleaned
Extremely unhelpful staff, very poor customer service
The staffs were friendly
Nothing really but can still improve
Cheap price We were able to drop off our bags before the Check in time.
No window. Strange smell in the basement floor where we stayed. There was a hole on the basement roof. The bathroom wasn't clean. When we came back to the room at night, policemen told us to avoid the street just before the one of our hotel.
In all everything was great and excellent customer service
The smell of the place could be improved
The door out! In fairness, the beds were quite comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and crisp.
When we arrived, we were shown to a room which had broken blinds and a torn curtain. It stank! We asked to see another room, which was marginally better. As it was quite late, we accepted it but weren't happy - no curtains on the windows, sticky-backed plastic on the windows to make them opaque and blinds which didn't close properly. This hotel wasn't expensive and the pictures on the website made it look quite reasonable - they really didn't reflect the reality - dirty carpets, broken blinds.... We book this in haste and didn't read the reviews. A lesson well learnt.
The Hotel is really close to downtown!
By car it is almost not possible to fibd a parkinglot. Its very expensive to leave the car in a public parking. Our room was really small and the neighbours were very loud! We couldnt sleep till 3.am
The bed was reasonably comfortable. Quick and easy check in and out.
The room was in the basement with no windows. Very small bathroom with a big shower that couldn't be utilized because the shower head faced into the corner and couldn't be moved to direct the water elsewhere. A hand towel and a bathmat were the only linens. There were 2 other guests complaining at the desk when we went by. We would have left but were on a tight schedule and didn't have time. Boo!
I like that it was so close to downtown for a very affordable price.
Staff very friendly and helpfull.
Cleaning could be better.
Bed was comfy, location, quiet
Weird smells (such as mold), air conditioner leaked on the floor (wet spots underneith), paid for parking and was misdirected with no solution offered (almost had car towed/ was blocked in and had to ask apartment resident beside hotel to move their car)
no cfontenental breakfast as advertised. only coffee available which was very disappointing to us
Very good price .
Quiet Clean Reasonably priced
Breakfast could have included hard boiled eggs
The hotel was very close to downtown Toronto. We only stayed one night but for a last minute deal, the price wasnt very high. The staff were very friendly and the check in and check out were quick and easy. Also the parking isnt very expensive comparing to others I saw for the same time period. Overall, I found the hotel not to be as bad as the other reviews stated.
There was a part of the carpet that was wet due to the a/c being badly installed. And the hotel does not offer anything else other than soap and shampoo.
