Front counter clerk was very helpful
I got approached by a prostitute and a drug dealer on my way back from parking my truck The parking was three blocks away
Dirty,poor staff, noisy,
The location was quite good. There was access to major centers in the city
Had to share a single microwave with the entire hotel.
The room wasn't clean up before hosting at all. There is dust all over the room. The furniture is placing in a mess
It's exactly what I expected for what I paid for.
I feel like being robbed initially it was 60 Can per day for double room, that was not the case this explanation was suppose to be one queen bed, very misleading so i have to pay 20 more to have double bed, which makes the room very very small, The bottom line is do not mislead remove the word 'Double" if you are not honoring it.
Easy to find with friendly staff awaiting you any hour of the day. Nice comfortable beds with clean bathrooms. Walking distance to all the main toronto downtown sites.
Breakfast was a little lacking.
Too hot in the room.
Housekeeping was sporadic
the space the 4 pillows the room
the cleaning could be more attentive to details
The rooms looked like they were modern and well put together despite there incredible lack of space.
I knew going into the booking I would have to pay for parking, but when asked to do so, I was told that there was no more room.I was almost an hour early for my booking so that seemed impossible. I was told to park all the way down the end of the street. A good 800 meters. The room had spider webs in the corner. The wifi wouldn't connect. The "free breakfast" was literally cornflakes and white bread with strawberry jam. The coffee machine wasn't even working. Everything about this experience was ridicules and we will not be returning.
Broken floors BED BUGS. I woke up to a flock of them, complained, then got a suite. As I just finished unpacking everything, there I found another one. So I took a video of it and showed it to front desk. WASTE of energy. Lesson learned: although on a tight budget, PAY that extra 200$ and get a decent bug-free place.
We stayed for a "night on the town" so to speak so we weren't in the hotel much; however, for a place to sleep that was close to all the major downtown amenities it was very fairly priced and the bed was comfortable, room was clean. The breakfast was lacking in many aspects, the hotel itself needs work, and the rooms are extremely small, but if you are looking for a place to sleep for a good price, I would definitely recommend this hotel
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Splendid location for exploring downtown Toronto. Great value accommodation.
Breakfast options rather limited.
Rooms were spacious; staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok.
No telephone in rooms; to reach customer service, we have to walk down. Heater was not working; we had to be transferred to a different room after mid night
closeness to town price of room friendly staff
old outdated and could use a makeover
The Wi-Fi signal was good.
Firstly, the heating was so high that I couldn't sleep. Secondly, the toilet has a problem I couldn't realize until the other morning. lastly, the room apparently wasn't clean as should be that I got scars all over my body after I left. Generally, It wasn't a good experience at all.
College station nearby makes it convenient to reach the hotel.
I was put in a room smelling smoke though the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. The food was not good, the cafeteria was not cleaned up during breakfast. The luggage are not checked. The Wifi connexion is not working everywhere. I would not come back and would not advice anyone to go there.
Outstanding hotel and incredible service! Was on a business trip to Toronto and could not have stayed at a better place. State of the art rooms and amenities. The perfect place to go to and relax after a hard day's work downtown. This should be the only hotel for business travelers in particular. 10+++++++
I liked it too much and didn't want to leave!
Price and location!
The person who took my reservation on the phone was courteous and speedy.
The person who greeted me at the front counter was hostile and cranky; didn't acknowledge the booking or even do any work to discover what had gone wrong. It was very late, I was tired, and taking a cab halfway across the city to be turned away at the door did not leave me with a good feeling. To be fair, my low ratings for comfort, cleanliness and facilities, which I did not experience, are results of this feeling, not of having actually seen the inside of the hotel.
No cable television stations. Only about 10 stations that are not good.
My room-worst sleep ever in a hotel. It was so cold I had to put a sweater over my pajamas, then so hot I had to take off my sheets. No thermostat that I could find. Mold along heaters, smell was bad and sorely in need of renovation, wall was buckled, ceiling as well. Tere was also confusion about wheter I paid in full as stipulated in booking (said 100% prepaid at time of booking on certificate from booking.com). I asked prior to arrival and during arrival if this was paid in full, despite giving my pone number prior to arrival to person I spoke with-no one ever called back to verify and at check-in and departure-they could not find if I had paid or not. It was clear on booking.com that it would be charged in full. Now I have to call my credit card company and verify. I told clerk about poor sleep and smell, he couldn't have cared less.
The only good thing with this hotel is that it is located near downtown. And the staff was polite whenever you need to talk to them..
We stayed 2 nights bu we did not get housekeeping. I can't say that the room was really clean. You may think that it's very good that they give breakfast as I did think so. But they serve strawberry jam and margarine(not even butter), toast bread and so called orange juice and tea. Nothing else, no cheese, no egg, no croissant, no any cookie or any other pastry. There was a very similar other hotel without breakfast and with less price, but I preferred to pay more to get breakfast but it was totally a mistake...
