I arrived quite late (11.45 pm) and a young girl answered the buzzer and let me in.
Dirty, run down and in desperate need of refurbishment. Work is underway but the whole building seems to be buckling. Gaps under doors range from a couple of cms to over 7 cms (I measured!). My sheets and bedspread had stains and there was a very strange smell in the hallway that I can't describe. I was taking some photos of the motel (as I always do) when I was threatened by the staff. They demanded to know why I was taking photos and then insisted I delete them. I refused and they then said if I didn't they would not give me back the $100 security deposit. I threatened to go to the police and they backed down. I then went to the police anyway to report attempted extortion and they made a call to the motel to make sure all was going to be OK. A dreadful experience. And breakfast was terrible. Like being in a prison. No staff to assist. Just some old bread and a toaster plus some cereal. But no milk. Avoid!!!!!!
The emploee girl who really kind to me name is Hatman. Thank you very much.
This hotel was not as advertised, the photos are clearly photoshoped. The room had blood on the walls, was filled with paint fumes, the shower backed up, the dead bolt had been kicked in and the staff was rude when we requested to change rooms. This hotel is obviously used for long term rentals and we were made to feel like we had taken advantage of them for paying less on booking.com
The room was well appointed and presented nicely. The view was nice.
The stairways and the entrance hall are fairly run down. The appearance and feel of the place isn't great. The heater was difficult to get right. No utensils in the room.
Room was very nice. Clean, refreshed and comfortable.
Currently renovating central areas. Some noise into early evening. Doors need replacing.
booked a smoking room as it said they have them. When I got there they said the hotel does not have smoking rooms.
It is close to everything.
The stairs. No info. Lazy chambermaids. Dusty. Sketchy. Loitering. Noisy. I found other people's receipts in drawers.
Breakfast was late, and just some poor quality bed with a toaster and spreadings. Sheets were terrible and didn't really fit the bed so kept coming untucked
Room brand new renovation very clean.
2nd floor of motel long term rentals. Whole place needs reno.
The price was good. The staff when they realized I couldn't do stairs called the manager to see what could be done to accommodate my disability. There wasn't the same room type as I had booked but they were able to offer us a different type room at a lower rate. Thank you.
Wish the hotel's site would offer as great a room rate deal. Booking.com beats their price on single night stays. But multi night stays they offer a better deal than Booking.com
heater didn't work there was no soundproofing - could hear other guests closing doors to their rooms and to the outside all night
The Staff was rude and didn't have two feet to stand on when they wanted to tell us we were loud. Sorry we didn't have a key and you had to do your job.
Liked the breakfast included. Quiet location. Black out curtains. Fridge/microwave. Very nice bathroom.
Nice location and nice view
We will never stay at this place ever again. NO chest of drawers in room, NO towel rack, NO soaps in bathroom, one single tiny Kleenex box - none in the Bathroom... That was supposed to be one of their "superior" rooms - makes one wonder what an "ordinary" room looks like.... Staff totally indifferent and to end our "stay,", we asked to be woken at 7 am, and got the call at 8 am. Upon complaining, the receptionist replied that they did call at 7 AM.....if so, why would they call again at 8 AM? Pure hogwash! Continental Breakfast was minimal. Hallway carpets are dirty and smelly. There are so many Motels in Kamloops, one wonders how any Hospitality business can afford be run that indifferently and badly.
Not a lot.
Dated and tired. The place needed a full refurbishment.
The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was updated and clean as well.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The funny smell in the hallway. Definitely walking to you room makes you feel like you're probably in the worst place... But once u get into your room everything seems ok. Changing carpets would be ideal.
As I was in Kamloops, one of my friends suggested me that I should once in a while get a sneak-peek of this hotel, knights inn, this is not just a hotel but a new definition of leisure.I Had booked a Superior Queen room through Booking.com, the features of this wonderful room are pretty good and especially renovated room, but that's not all it has a view of the mountains embracing the clouds and also a beautiful view of the river. They ensured my room was immaculate as I stayed for 1-day and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable in all ways.
Honestly I love this place, new upgrades are fantastic. Beautiful location, large rooms, comfy beds, nice staff (helped me in my luggage), close to all amenities, and centrally located so very convenient. Overall, a good place. For sure, I will come back and stay.
room was large.bed was comfortable.view was very nice.
breaskfast was toast or dry cereal and coffee.
The cleanliness of the room and comfort. It had a new room smell, as if perhaps it just had a new carpet installed recently! Large tv was included although I never used it. Wi-fi supplied with room, excellent
The only thing I didn't like was walking down the hallway smelling the odor of currie in the hallway. It almost smelled as if someone was cooking with currie in their room and it wafted to the hallway, although my room was void of odor.
Black stained towels and cloths. MANY large grease stains on the duvets. Entire hallway covered in stained carpet. Crooked doors with huge gaps. No king bed judt queen, the "view" was a parking lot. No elevator! This was a filthy nightmare!
It was in a convenient location, I was traveling.
Upgraded to King room with view, excellent location, nice clean rooms, staff vey accommodating, specially with all my luggage, friendly with all my questions, thanks to Naginder, Jaswinder & Harman for making my extended stay comfortable.
