availability of a microwave, coffee maker and a fridge was very much appreciated. the bed was comfortable.
The whole building needs a complete face lift. It is showing its age and has been neglected for too long. It is hard to believe that Ramada had let it go so badly. The pool area also needs some work.
restaurant/food service poor
Got to say, looks shabby on the outside but room was clean, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast special was good value and the breakfast host was wonderful.
very close to the fairgrounds and car show. Walking distance to resturants.
Need to clean the windows and maybe replace them not the most secure windows.
Pleasantly surprised - great value. Rooms were clean and roomy. Close enough to the falls, but away from all the busyness. Large clean pool.
No continental breakfast.
The price was good for a short stay. Location, not far from center of town, a five to seven minute drive. Niagara falls is about 25 minutes drive. Car is needed to enjoy the area. Parking is free.
The building needs a face lift and some upgrades. Breakfast not included in stay, but is available for a small price.
Our room was quiet due to its location.
Carpeting in room needed to be shampooed. The hallway smelled damp due to the proximity to the pool.
Room was equipped with fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The staff were very pleasant and friendly as well as helpful.
Hotel was in the process of changing its name - I booked under the name "Ramada" but there was no visible sign so the hotel was hard to find initially.
Clean and comfy
A little far from Niagara
Absolutely nothing, would not go back.
We booked it as a Ramada Inn, and it wasn't. The sign out front had a sheet over it as it was changing companies. Loud, rude neighbours and could hear everything through the walls. Computer in lobby was broken, no effort to help us print something.
nice friendly staff,
it would be nice to have the sign of your hotel out near the road so you could recognize the hotel when you dont know the area and traveled far to get there. also your hotel need some major renovations. also need to organize the parking lot. had a rental car and did not feel comfortable leaving it parked there for the night.
We pulled in to where we thought we should be but the sign was covered and we did not know if we were in the correct spot. It is in need of some work run down and smelly
very convenient for my purposes. the room was a good size and beds were comfortable.
i needed to wash a few things but your Dryers were broken. a better job of cleaning can be done. the gym needed attention and so did the pool. there was no roadside sign - wasnt sure at first if I was at the right place.
Staff were very accommodating when we told them the ceiling was leaking, they gave us another room
We had booked a non smoking room and they gave us a room that clearly was a smoking room and both of us had trouble sleeping due to the odor. We had just traveled from Ottawa to Welland in a thunder storm so we just put up with it. We have stay at this hotel before and no concerns.
The enviroment was calm. Parking availability was excellent. Staff was helpful
No breafast served or made available for purchase. Stayed first night without fridge and microwave; this was a bit difficult given there was no food /breakfast served or available for purchase
-Room was basic but clean. -Pool was lovely and deep but the pool area was not well maintained. -Friendly, courteous staff. -A basic hotel in need of renovation; nothing special but more than adequate for a quick visit. -Reasonably priced.
-The screen door to the balcony fell off. -The hotel is definitely in need of renovation and repair...faded glory but satisfactory for a night or two. -Shouldn't have the Ramada name until the renovations are completed...a bit misleading because you expect more.
Changing rooms at pool out of order and rooms needed some repair.
carpet wasn't vacuumed
Bed was comfy
Night clerk was not at desk and waited 10 min even ringing the bell constantly. Room is dated and had a musty sort of smell to it.
I was so tired that I went straight to sleep. No problem. I used the Internet to find the room and used the hotel's Internet while there. We don't support hotels without Internet included. Not in this day and age. We had stayed in this location before, when it had a different brand, so we knew what it was like.
Why do so many hotels use clammy sheets? A little more cotton would be nice instead of sleeping in a steam bath. Hotel owners should try a night in their beds. The hotel is being set up as a conference center, so I don't know how that will affect getting rooms on some dates.
The beds were so poor I couldn't sleep in the same one as my wife. Even with the air conditioner on full blast the room was stifling hot. We also happened to be located under the air conditioning unit for the building that would turn on every ten minutes. We slept for maybe 3 hours after all was said in done. I'll never stay at a Ramada again.
The location was good and it was fairly cheap. The rooms were updated and the beds were comfy
I think the rooms can be a bit more cleaner After staying one night and going on night 2 the cleaning people just threw our sheets on our bed very poorly and didn't make the bed No garbage can in the room just bathroom
Location was close to major roads to get into Niagara
For a king room, no fridge or microwave... Room garbage was emptied but linens were not changed or bed made daily... Not enough towels initially supplied for 2night stay... Just not satisfied with their prep work
We paid $95 for one night which was a good deal...but it was disappointing
The hotel was very outdated and not maintained well. My 4 yr old even commented that he didn't think we should use the tub! Many machines out of order. Recently not even a Ramada and I can see why. Would definitely not go back.
The receptionist in the morning was nice and polite. He did apologize for the inconvenience
The most dirtiest and uncomfortable place. There were insects crawling on the ceiling and on the walls. We could not fall asleep. The blankets smelled awful. The service was really bad. The receptionist was rude at night.
