Central Clean Modern
The walls are paper thin, The carpeted floors smell a little moldy, you couldn't get quick access to your car.
Hot tub was across the street.
Room 250 is pretty awesome. Very cool, exposed brick, bay windows, high ceilings, and hard wood floors. Would have liked to have stayed longer
Everything was great
Location, quiet hotel
20.00 CAD/night parking is too expensive!
The furniture is not new nor matching but somehow it gave the room a character - I actually really liked it! Loved the huge basin and vanity area in the room.
That the reception was at different hotel across the street. Wi-fi was not strong in the room.
Great service, location and facilities. Our room was quiet, clean and had everything we could possibly need. Thanks!
size of, access to and layout of the room. parking.
I stayed at Hermitage - tho economy rooms were small they were beautifully appointed - all the amenities of a 5 star. Very professional and friendly staff went out of their way to please. Location - in the old city - was fab. First time there and now would not consider staying anywhere else in QC.
room very small
Location great. Clean, staff very kind & helpful.
Very tired towels & bedspread, soft mattress.
Didn't have much interaction with staff as they are based at Acadia. The few I met were very Friendly. There is a fridge in the room and ice machine on the ground floor. Very clean, compact room with everything you need to stop on a city break. 4 mins from chateau de Frontenac main entrance on St Louis street and access to the tourist spots.
Walls are paper thin. Hear everything. Take headphones and listen to music. That should help. No heating worked. AC on wall but although turned up to 30c it blew cold air. Staff didn't know how it operated when I called reception. I am glad it was not winter!
I like how it was close to the happening streets yet quiet.
Excellent hotel pour un 2 étoiles !
Excellent location in Old Quebec City, everything is walking distance.
The mechanism for opening the window was broken. Managed to open it with brutal force.
At the first day of our staying, they allowed us to enter the room only after 16h. We arrived at 15h and remained waitng untio thevroom get ready. The oriental girl (I dont remember the name of her) said she would let us know when it was ready and ask us to wait in a living room. It was ready, but she did not tell anything. Just made us await for nothing... Also they charged my credit card wrongly. Be aware...
The hotel room was updated and beautiful without compromising the character. The beds were the most comfortable We've ever had in a hotel. The hotel it's self was in a great location where everything was in a walking distance.
With the room (250) located on the main floor, right at the entrance, it was extremely loud starting at 6:30am and throughout the evening, you would hear everyone going up and down the stairs to their rooms or walking around their rooms. In addition, on garbage night, the garbage gets piled at the hotel entrance, right below our bedroom window. Having the go through the garbage to get into the hotel was not pleasant to see or smell.
We had a lovely stay here, staff was accommodating and location was perfect. Over all enjoyed our trip. Also left engagement ring (!) in room after leaving and the staff was courteous enough to send it to US for us, so very thankful for this!!
Only flaw is you have to check in a bit down the street at sister hotel and if you have a lot of luggage beware of stairs to carry it up to your room.
housekeeping could have been better.
excellent location very stylish room
not strong wifi signal
The location was great. The room was beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shower had terrible water pressure. I was given an info thing that said breakfast is available at this restaurant. It was never mentioned that it would be charged. The cost wasn't that much but it was just a typical (had sit awhile) buffet that I would not have paid for.
Location great. Free wifi. Rooftop patio and hot tub access.
Room was musty smelling and damp. Needs an upgrade. Carpets were awful. Overpriced for what we got.
location price character comfort
Noisy in the front room - traffic and people going up the stairs
Cramped quarters and having to check in at another building across the street.
We liked the location, and easy walking access to most of the main attractions. The room decor has been tastefully updated, modern, yet complementing the age of the building. It came with all of the conveniences, like fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, flat screen TV and dock for an ipod.
The space in the room was a bit tight, but other than that, everything was very nice. We used the AC fan to drown out any street noise. It was mostly quiet.
