First, its location is great. It is in downtown Montreal, and close to pretty much everything you need: transportation, shopping, entertainment - just around the corner from the amc Movie theater, etc. Since it is an apartment hotel, one can make the best out of having a kitchenette facility in the room (by the way, box tissues are not included in the listed amenities they provide unlike most hotels). It is good that they have a laundry room within the premises, and swimming pool, sauna, exercise room plus the terrace for the summer months on top of this high- risen building. Last but not least, the gentleman working at the reception called Steve is very professional and yet friendly: He knows what he is doing. He certainly adds value to this hotel! It was not clearly expressed that "full payment was required upon arrival" when I booked this hotel through the web site: booking.com. It was a bit of surprise because all other hotels I have been to through my relatively extensive travelling experience, I hardly recall similar practices of payment. The hotel's very strict about "pay first" policy even when you are extending your stay. They do not even want to wait for a few hours even though they have your credit card imprint(s) and all that they need to charge you in case you run without paying. It just makes you feel that you are not respected as a valued guest, and this certainly degrades this hotel's rating as a service industry, in my opinion...

My elderly father and I visited Montreal from London Ontario. We were so thrilled when we arrived to our well appointed room with a kitchen. The staff is so friendly and helpful and seem to really enjoy their work. The room as clean comfortable and quiet. Just a block away from the old Montreal.Forum we got a trip down memory lane in the Pepsi Forum mini museum. If you're looking for 5 star luxury this is not the place. For a well priced home base for active tourists, this is your spot!

The hotel was located near the downtown area, and was convenient for business and a walking tour of downtown and the old area of Montreal There was a lot of noise early in the evening on Saturday evening, however it quieted down before 8 pm, and was good thereafter. One Problem; When we booked the room via the internet, we were required to pay by credit card. On booking into the hotel on Thursday evening, we had to provide a Credit Card, and it appears that we were again billed for our 3 day stay. On Monday this week, I received a bill from my Credit Card company, showing the fee for three days Dated Oct. 14. I would like your assurance that this will NOT be billed to me again

- Very uncomfortable bed and lumpy pillows - we felt very itchy the entire time we were in the room - very noisy radiator in bathroom at night (deep clicking noise) - saunas still weren't working and that's one of our favourite things - extremely loud construction work early in the morning and all day we couldn't do any work in our rooms as a result - terrible internet access - you have to sign out pool towels - pool water was too chilly - room card key stopped working after 2 days

Right across the street from a megaplex with paid parking and a movie theather with lots of stuff to do for children. Had an elevator- it was small and a little bit dirty but it beats taking the stairs. We had a balcony on one of the top floors with an amazing view. We had a 1 bedroom suite room which had a large seating area... ended up having 2 double beds and a pullout sofa it could have slept four-six people comfortably. There was a small kitchen with a table too. It was a bit dated.... the carpet was clean but had big stains... the couch smelled like it needed to be steam cleaned and febreezed- it didn't smell bad just stale and you could tell it just needed to be steam cleaned- like the carpet-it was old.... there was some grit and grime in the corners of the bathroom but not enough to detour me from staying there again... there was paint chipping on the ceiling in the bathroom and in the kitchen... They charged my credit card before I got there so that kind of irriated me a bit... The toilet paper in the bathroom was half used- so if that grosses you out it might bother you to stay here. There was a sign saying that the dishes in the sink were not the responsibility of the staff so pay attention or you might not get your deposite back. This was in a pretty good area... there was a metro station close by..... this is a good place to go if you are going to the city with a few friends for a weekend of drinking and site see-ing

Close to everywhere. Our suite was very nice and neat. Even when they were professional, staff doesn't act so friendly. We were expecting better attention.

The location is fabulous. The Metro is within a block; it's an easy walk downtown; practically everything is within walking distance. We knew from reading reviews not to expect a luxury hotel, but were pleasantly surprised with our suite. It was spacious and clean and fairly well maintained with cleaning service every day. The kitchenette was wonderful and saved us scads of money on meals. We remarked how wonderful it would be for a family with children, especially on a budget, as Montreal is not particularly cheap for restaurants. The staff was always friendly and courteous and willing to help with anything we needed. We thought it was quaint and just lovely, and have nothing at all bad to say about this hotel and it's staff, and when we return to Montreal next year we will definitely book again!

Good location very near the Atwater Metro Station. Very comfortable bed, small but very well equiped kitchen and good small bathroom. From the airport you can get a 24 hour bus/metro ticket for $8 which will take you into the city centre, then using the same ticket you can use it on the Metro to get to Atwater Station. A 3 day ticket only costs $16. Lots to do in Montreal and all within easy access of the Metro. Montreal is a French speaking city but even without being able to speak French you will be fine. The hotel does seem to be used by a lot of families so can be a little noisy at night with people coming back from nights out.

Impressed at large clean room with kitchenette facilities and flawless bathroom. Front desk staff were very competent and friendly. Breakfast did not look so good so I did not eat there. The TV remote did not work, even after changing batteries. Turns out that it was the wrong remote - the "good" remote was stuffed between the mattress and the night table - probably from the last guests who stayed. No big deal though.
