La Tour Belvédѐre  

The hotel was located near the downtown area, and was convenient for business and a walking tour of downtown and the old area of Montreal

There was a lot of noise early in the evening on Saturday evening, however it quieted down before 8 pm, and was good thereafter. One Problem; When we booked the room via the internet, we were required to pay by credit card. On booking into the hotel on Thursday evening, we had to provide a Credit Card, and it appears that we were again billed for our 3 day stay. On Monday this week, I received a bill from my Credit Card company, showing the fee for three days Dated Oct. 14. I would like your assurance that this will NOT be billed to me again

The space was great.

I wasn't crazy about the bed sheets. They were scratchy for me.

There was a lot of space in the apartment and the view was nice.

The room smelled weird and it looked as if it needed repairs ( old paint and falling apart door knobs). The staff at the front desk took a very long time to help us. The elevator were too small and looked like they were gonna break down. Also, the construction in the front lobby looked tacky and made it hard to check in and out.

Sow check in

The room was big, clean and cozy. We had a balcony and the view was great. We liked the room and will definitely rebook again if we come back to Montreal.

The staff was very friendly, they helped me out whenever I needed any help. I asked for a refund because I was gonna leave early and had paid in advance, so they took my case and I eventually got a fair refund. Very satisfied with the customer service.

Looks like they were going through some remodeling at the time of my arrival, so there was stuff all over the lobby. There was a high level of static in the room, but I guess this is due to the fact that the heating system is electric. This wasn't an issue for me, but it could be for families with young children, because they can get frightened. You touch any metal object after 3 minutes of walking into the room and you'll feel a small electric shock.

I liked having a kitchen in the room. We stayed with young children and the kitchen made our stay easier.

I didn't like that our room was a smoking room. It really smelled of stale smoke (like any smoking rooms would).

Lifts are old and slow

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room/suite was attractive and spacious. The location was convenient and the value for money was outstanding.

Location was very convenient. The 1-bedroom suite had enough room for our family of 5 (although bathroom was a bit small). Kitchen was great. Easy street parking, so did not need to pay extra! It was almost 100$ cheaper per night to another hotel with same setup one block away!!

Elevators were slow. Windows in room were drafty. At night extra environmental noises (like swishing water? Pipes?) but we got used to them.

The balconies need to be updated, the railing was very loose & the extra lock on the doors need to be fixed...

I liked the design of the room and how organized was. Also the kitchen facility was excellent and over all the cleaness of the room was perfection.

The enterance need to be better designed and more welcoming. But the staff were excellent and welcoming.
