The Resort is very nice and can imagine it being busy in the summer seaon. We were only staying for one night and found the suite for $54 so it was a no brainer to stay here. The only downside was it was a long detour away from our route to Vancouver.

It was beautiful, inexpensive and the view was amazing... The rooms were large and had everything you needed. We used the outside bbq that it located beside the pool. The front desk staff was very nice and the grounds were well kept. I plan to stay in the resort for sure in the future!!

Quiet, beautiful setting, close to Kelowna but across the lake. Wonderful drive to the resort. View of the lake from any room. A lovely dinner menu - never saw the breakfast or lunch fare. Nice to have the little store on site. We were there off season so not everything was operating (spa,tennis, boat rentals and such) but that did not distract from the overall experience. Outdoor hot tub was cool. The indoor hot tub was quite warm but very very small. The dining room lacked ambience.

Spending time with family, our room was comfortable and had everything we would need and the location was quiet. Everything was great but one thing could be greatly improved on and that would be housekeeping needs to clean under the beds and couches etc .

No late night check in service - a security guard let us in. Parking was awful. Rooms were dated and uncomfortable. The coffee filters were the wrong size for their own coffee machines. Really bad.

The set apart location and view of the lake. Our room was not cleaned once during our stay - our bed was made and clean towels were given. The room was not vacuumed nor was the bathroom cleaned. The pull out bed in the living room was not made up once.

The grounds were very nice. The room was not clean, cobwebs everywhere. Stayed two nights and no cleaning service. The beach was at least a mile or more from our room, very steep. I think the hotel (it wasn't even a hotel) was misrepresented in the add. It is so far from Kelowna and the road to get there is very narrow and dangerous. Would never stay there again even if it was free.

A great little get-a-way on Lake Okanagan. It is a timeshare so the room we got was a large 1 bedroom with kitchen and a livingroom with lake view. Daily towel and coffee service and a BBQ for our use.It is about a 20 minute drive on a 2 lane mountain road to get to town but we were prepared and filled the fridge fro our 3 days there. We had a marvelous time relaxing by the lake and touring the Okanagan countryside. The property is quite steep and the some of the buildings are older which might affect some folks but our stay was great.

beach quiet location outdated needs a lot of renos to stay with the times road to resort dangerous marina closed due to employee not showing up waited over 2 hours when told someone would be there in 20 minutes

We stayed since our daughter was a participant at the \ironman in Penticton. It was a lovely location however, a daily drive of over an hour to Penticton. The view and water was a wonderful vacation. Thanks so much.

My daughter and myself loved staying at the Okanagan Resort because of the peace and tranquil atmosphere. The view from our room was breathtaking regardless of the time of day or night. The staff need to give each other a pat on the back for the service that we received - it was excellent and so very friendly. We felt like we were part of their family. They were always busy improving something but never too busy to say hello and ask you how your day was going or how you were doing. You never had to worry about asking questions and they always had a pleasant answer. There was something to do for everyone from golf, tennis, swimming, spa, boating or horseback riding. I really liked how the children were able to enjoy themselves and be kids without feeling they were bothering others. This is a wonderful down home country resort. This resort is awesome and our stay was wonderful. Question #3 About your Stay should have "All of the above" added to the list because we stayed at the Okanagan for all the reasons listed but I had to put the location because it was wonderful. Our reasons for staying at the Okanagan Resort was for all the reasons listed in Question 3 except "other" but I know I could come up with many other reasons for our stay.

Location is good; boating and jet ski facilities are nice. Private jetty and beach is a big plus. Room and other facilities need massive makeover; currently very tired and worn out. Difficult to get there at night but great idea to spend the evening and night at the resort. Facilities very old and tired. Very poor actually and didnt feel like returning to the room!! A refurbishment budget will do good to the overall standard and image of the resort. I am not going back until several major renovations are carried out.

Veiw of the lake The road to access the its a fifteen minute drive and Im sure this road wouldnt pass a inspection from a third world country. Too far from the building we were at to the ammenities and they should warn you about the bats that like to hang out around your door

Variety of things to do. All activitys require you to sign the day before for every one. I can appreciate the numbers thing but it then excludes those who just arrive. The other thing is the whole resort is built on the side of a mountain. Although the view is spectacular make sure you bring plenty of extra horsepower in your truck if you plan on launching your boat here. Although the launch ramp itself is okay, the ramp getting down to and back up to the water must be 30%, its very steep.

The mountain and lake view in the summer... the early day beauty of the scenery and the full moon over the lake... what a beauty... and peace. I have a special needs daughter with low muscle tone; it was quite challenging moving around with her. Although we called the golf cars to take us around,... it was still difficult to do that as the golf cars had no seat belts and the roads were pretty steep.
