Room was huge
Clean and very well situated. Breakfast available next door.
Not really a hotel. More like rooms, managed by the trinket-store sales ladies. It suited us well.
The location of the motel was wonderful. Very nice staff and the room was spacious and very clean..beds were excellent...
view from our room wasn't so great..we were looking at a very close wall of another building...25% was visible of another street and the Price building if we hung our heads out to the side.
Cleaning was good and prompt.
There are no allocated staff for customer service, and staff in the shop were attending. In the process I could not get my flight re-scheduled.
The hotel is in the center of Old Quebec, very close to the elegant restaurants and bars. Wifi, room facilities are perfect.
I liked the price, location, large room, view of street from window, large clean bath.
winding stairs were hard to negotiate with my one medium bag. But then, I'm 72 years old, in excellent shape for my age, but still, mean stairs. I would liked to have known that I had to pay $14 US daily to park my car in a lot a block away.
Loved the location For the price it was wonderful Would stay again for sure.
Would of liked extra bedding. Pillows/blanket.
Nice attendents, clean room, excellent location, close to everything... and quite place... Can get a good night sleep.
The shower is close to the door and is close to the bad... not inside the bathroom.
Close to all popular tourist spots in old Quebec. Room has a very nice view. Convenient to stores and restaurants.
Toilet in room stuck on the last day. Luckily there was also a common toilet.
location was good to Old part of town
~~NO staff from 9pm-10am; staff also doubles as shopkeeper; young, inexperienced, no guidance from owners etc. ~~Noisy guests above us. ~~No internet 1/2 the time ~~No writing paper ~~No phone in room nor public one when shop is closed
The location is excellent.
We were in the front and had the window open the whole time. The street below can be a little noisy. It didn't bother us at all but it might be something you should be aware of. The rooms at the back might be quieter.
The location is pretty good, you can access anywhere easily.
The reception is not 24 hrs.
Perfect location. Large room.
Location in the old city
The price was too high
Cheap and cheerful but excellent value for money in an otherwise expensive city. Parking cheap and surprisingly easy. Nice to have a fridge and coffee maker. Great shower.
The location, staff, and 2nd floor room with a shower in room.
Right in the center of old town! Big rooms, big bathroom. Internet worked perfectly. Parking cheaper than at other hotels. They have coffee machine (it wasn't in the description). Plenty of places to eat right next to the hotel.
Couldn't keep permanent water temperature in the shower. Two faucets. Kept getting much hotter, and then - much colder. Tiny soap - bring your own toiletries!
Very quiet at night, our room overlooked the courtyard of the monastery. Perfect location to see all the sights. Staff was very attentive. Very clean. Parking was right across the street at a discounted rate if paid through the hotel. Good size room for our family of three. Bathroom was huge!
Outside lights were bright at night. Fixed it with a blanket over the curtains. St Augustine looking at me all the time. :)
room is tidy
have to share bathroom price is high
Just what I was looking for: old charm, inexpensive, and well-maintained. If you're coming to Quebec City, you really need to stay in the old part of town.
It was nice staying in an old building...it was clean and comfortable...nice staff
Ive stayed in other places in old quebec...i didnt think it was worth what we paid...
Location was superb for me. Near center of old part of town which was where i needed to be. Quaint feel. Old. Stone walls. Nice street. Very walkable.
No phone in the room. No clock in the room. Must pay upfront. The front desk is in a gift shop. They don't even man the desk when it's time to check out. You just drop off your key (which is why you must pay up front). I didn't really mind these things (except for the lack of phone), but many people might.
Loved the location and facility. Very cute and close to everything!! The ladies at reception were fantastic and helped us out when we were exhausted after driving 10 hours and falling apart at the seams!!
We were driving from Nova Scotia to Toronto and had all of our gear (surfboards, camping stuff, coolers, etc) and a full sized pick up truck. The parking was very difficult. The lot that we were told to go to was hard to get into and not high enough for the truck. The receptionist was superb and called around and found a parking spot for us that fit and it was fairly close. I will definitely come back but only in a smaller vehicle.
Location was perfect and staff very friendly. Our room was clean and had a nice, large bathroom. Parking was just across the street and very convenient. This was our first visit to QC and would definitely stay here again.
Shower was a little tricky to adjust - kept alternating from scalding to freezing!
The location is great, and the room was comfortable and spacious, though basic.
They don't offer breakfast as the reception is also a gift shop and there aren't any dedicated common areas for guests. Also the WiFi was a bit flaky.
