Hotel Le Crystal Montreal  

This is an amazing hotel! Don't even bother staying anywhere else in Montreal! The only downside is that it makes other less expensive hotels look like a super 8. We would definitely stay here again. From the beautiful room to the rooftop hot tub our stay was luxury 100%.

The location is perfect for nayone wanting to enjoy all of what downtown Montreal has to offer. The staff are amazing and helpful and the hotel is very comfortable.

This hotel was gorgeous! The Superior room was quite large- with a kitchenette, separate standing shower and bathtub and separate bedroom and living room. We were there for our honeymoon and upon arrival, found a lovely note from the concierge welcoming and congratulating us. The hotel is right behind Crescent St- a st full of bars- which made it a nice short walk back after a long night out.

The location of the hotel was pretty good and the hotel was quite modern and clean. The suite form that you can have small kitchen including coffee machine, ironing table and microwave was helpful.

Despite the price the breakfast was poor! It was called open buffet and was quite different than the other open buffets we were used to see in other hotels in other parts of the world. The breakfast is not included in the hotel rates and basic continental breakfast costed around 25 cad (including taxes).

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. We liked the location -- within an easy walk of old Montreal and downtown. Very convenient bus to airport outside the hotel. The reception was very friendly and most helpful.

The housekeeping service was a problem -- they had to be reminded constantly to do small things, which meant we didn't think the level of service was up to the standard of a luxury hotel, which Le Crystal seems to be. Coffee and tea needed refilling, the sofa bed wasn't folded up every day, toiletries weren't always refilled in a timely fashion, bathrobes replaced. We had to call and leave notes to get these things done, and sometimes we just did without, which was a pain.

Honestly this hotel is advertised as a 5 stars on booking.com and it barely deserves. 4 stars at the max. I've stayed at 4 star hotels in montreal that way surpassed this hotel. First, the room are definitely not as pretty as the website shows. The furniture is absolutely horrible, the beds and pillows were by far the least comfortable beds and pillows I have ever encountered at any hotel I have traveled to and the general design/look of the room was very 3 star to me. Also I have arrived at 6pm at the hotel and my room wasn't ready yet. Meanwhile check in time is supposed to be at 3pm. I had to wait 40 minutes in the lobby to get my room and was late to my dinner because I couldn't get ready since I didn't have access to the room. Overall, a disaster!

This Hotel is only 3 years old so is very modern but very cosy at the same time. It is in a good location in the city and 5 min walk to the main street, (Rue Sainte-Catherine) and about the same to the main railway stn. The rooms are large and airconditioned, a lounge area and tv and there is a small kitchen with coffee maker and Microwave. There is a supermarket in the Rue Sainte-Catherine about 10 min walk. The staff were very helpful with excellent english and willing to solve any need you may have. We would stay here again, gladly!

Close to the bell centre. Walking distance to everything. Friendly staff. The beauty and design of the 2nd floor was amazing.
