Friendly staff and location were great
Rooms were average and really over priced.
Layout of the room and modern design Staff knowledge and friendliness Complementary apples Prompt valet car service Fluffy robes and free umbrella use
Difficult to locate with strange signage Our room non-view
The service provided by all members of the staff was both personal and truly world class, and made up for any issue we could have had with the hotel - there is no doubt in our hearts we will stay there again on our next visit to the city. The interior design style was typical mid-90ties, imaginative, charming, and although a bit dated and not quite successful, it still works today due to its quirkiness. We were told the building was converted from office space to hotel in 1996, providing a fun deviation from modern cookie-cutter hotel chains.
The hotel had maintenance issues, with scoffed and worn finishes, a digital HD TV set only capable of showing analog SD channels, and problems with A/C and ventilation. The GM generously made up for this latter inconvenience by giving us a complementary night. The bed was a bit on the soft side, but still comfortable. We would have liked to see more drawer space.
Super bed. Great breakfast. Excellent staff. Great location. All great.
Gym needs some equipment updates.
The staff were very mindful of every person that entered hotel. Always ready to help.
The complimentary breakfast buffet each morning was delightful. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay again.
The only thing we didn't love was the modern shower with only a glass to keep the water in (no door). It made showers a bit colder than we'd prefer.
The service was incredible and the room was gorgeous! my husband and I both agreed at this was the best service and experience that either of us have ever had at a hotel!! The staff was so welcoming and polished and went above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I will be coming back to Montreal for more business trips and will absolutely be coming back! Highly recommend! :)
Gorgeous Rooms, Great details and impeccable service
Breakfast is repetitive and a little underwhelming
Friendliness of staff Decor of rooms vegetarian omelette with breakfast location
concrete ceiling in bedroom
Clean and cosy few steps awa from the city center
Breakfast: excellent service, fresh food, lovely variety. Beds were very comfortable. Location of hotel was excellent. "Feel" of hotel is excellent: modern but comfortable and "warm." All of the concierges and front desk staff were extremely helpful.
Pillows had a bit too much loft for me. No shuttle or car service. Beauty salon, (?Coupe?) was terrible - dirty, run down, very poor service, not professional, poor quality and very high priced.
Very good boutique hotel, excellent food. Great toiletries in the bathroom. Well recommended.
Location is great. Breakfast was nice.
We stayed in room 401, the ceiling was in desperate need of repair, it made the room very unwelcoming. the room had a draft from the airvent which blows directly onto the bed. I stayed here many years ago and was very impressed, however the room was very unappealing this time and I would not return.
The service was excellent overall, really smart people who care about their work.
location polite and helpful staff great room and bedding breakfast and newspaper
no complaints but would be so good if hotel had more "life"......a bit of lively atmosphere
The location is right in the shopping and business district.
The lobby is very small. Parking is complicated.
The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean and modern. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very polite.
The front of the hotel could be better marked for night arrivals. Couldn't figure out where to pull up for valet. Rooms aren't as big as I thought they'd be. The restaurant and bar had no atmosphere. Not really a lobby bar at all.
good location great staff great service good restaurant
wi-fi not always working
This is a handsome hotel. The person at the desk changed our room when we arrived (mother and adult son) so that we would have a room with two double beds instead of a queen with a fold-up bed. I called for a second coffee cup and it arrived in minutes. I was doing an interview in the hotel room that went a good half hour or more after check-out time, and they did not charge me extra.
The description provided on this website indicated that parking was free --but it was not. It cost $27. for one night.
The staff opening the hotel door and greeting us were very friendly. We felt welcomed . Reception staff very good as well. 24 hrs good quality coffee and tea was very much appreciated. Water bottles in the room was appreciated
Our bed mattress was over used. Therefore the centre felt like a hole..
Andre the concierge, the chocolate pain perdu [french toast] at the continental breakfast, the beauty products in the bathroom, the turn down service with chocolates, all of the valet and front door staff, the nightstand that light up and the enormous shower...
The personnel was incredible, Everything was fantastic, probably one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Definitely will come back and will recommend to others.
Cosy and homey
A bit dark in the rooms
Love it de location, near everything, Mall, old town, restaurants, bars, metro, room about right size beautiful, front desk beautiful and elegant people was very education and professional.
Only the breakfast could be better.
