breakfeast,reception,quit, location with lake perfect
the hosts were absolutely fantastic, super polite and helpful with all the attractions there are to see around. the breakfast was amazing. and it was obvious that the family puts a lot of effort and care into their b&b. highly recommended!!
Artistic family's talents evident in food presentation as well as decor! Helpful hosts and beautiful weather made for a perfect stay
Bed too soft for my tastes but could well suit others. Hard to find a negative!
Location, peacefulness, comfort, beauty, cleanliness!
The breakfasts. Kayaks and canoes. Pierre's info and help. The beautiful location is close to many Quebec City activities.
Our host was very helpful and made you feel at home The overall comfort and quality of the guesthouse was very good. Parking easy The room had a nice spacious feel Good location Quite Easy to find Very nice breakfast The bonus for us was the use of the canoes, a very good selection of canoes and a boat. The lake does not allow for motorised boats, which is a big plus. The 3 adjoining lake are beautiful We would recommend more than one night. If you are in the area or would prefer to be away from the city take the opportunity and stay.
Staff very good and helpful, breakfast excellence, just behind the lake
A little bit far from centre
Very friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Wonderful surroundings.
I liked everything about this B&B--the hosts were so accomodating and helpful, the room was spectacularly beautiful and comfortable, with two double beds, and every little convenience I could think of had been provided. The breakfast was fabulous and the property has lakefront access. Wished I had booked it for two nights!
That I only stayed for one night!
Super place with amazing hosts, kayaking and water sports on property, large comfortable rooms, much better option that staying in the city itself.
Loved it!! Wonderful location on a quiet lake, yet close to historic Quebec City. We loved coming back to the B&B and being able to use the kayaks and enjoy time on the beautiful, quiet, clean lake. Wonderful breakfast combined with friendly helpful hosts. Couldn't ask for more.
Great location for a relaxing holiday. Lovely breakfast
nice lake view, good location only if you drive. Breakfast was made with heart. It would be better if the hosts can provide meal in midnight
nice cozy decoration, very clean, has everything you need in room, good quality beds, host helpful and welcome, free snowshoes rackets and skates to use.
curtains don't fully cover windows so got sun light in the eyes in the morning.
An amazing place with great hosts who made everything just right. The food was great. We were stranded in a nearby town at around and 11:00 pm because the motel was closed and they were able to welcome us in from the cold. Super!
Friendly owner/operators. Breakfasts were exceptional. Room and beds comfortable. Beautiful setting. Lots of opportunities for outdoor activities.
breakfast, location, room, friendliness, flexibility, amenities
it was rather icy, so somewhat dangerous and at times it looked like there would not be appropriate parking if more people were staying that he bread & breakfast-events were occurring at time of our stay
Everything is amazing!!
Close to ski Hills
The staffs are very friendly. I would like the French style breakfast.
Friendly owners Fabulous breakfast Perfect location - in nature but near the city Personalized service - helpful information and service to make the visit to the area wonderful
Everything was great! No complaints.
Best location and place i have ever seen, u have beautiful lake, having ability for canoing. Outstanding breakfast. comfortable room. And warm staff. Defenitly reommended.
Only 20 mins drive north of Quebec City. Large, clean room (we stayed in the "Zen" room) with colour therapy jacuzzi tub. Only a few mins drive to nearby microbrew/restaurant Pub Archibald (recommended by our host, and for good reason!), or Siberia Station Spa (hot/cold baths/saunas/hottubs). House itself is right on Lac St Charles, with at least 5 single & double kayaks and canoes to use. Lake was glassy, quiet, and beautiful for paddling, though as it's the water supply for Quebec City, swimming was discouraged. Hosts were very friendly and happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Only stayed one night, but would definitely visit again.
Be prepared to speak French. L'hostesse ne parle pas l'anglais. (Son mari, un peu, mais on ne l'a pas recontré sauf pendant le petit déjeuner.) (Not really a problem for me, but my wife felt a little fish-out-of-water as she doesn't speak French, so I had to act as interpreter.)
Hosts were friendly and took time to give us information about the area.\ Breakfast was excellent and accomodations were great too.
Was really nothing to dislike
