size of the room It is neither necessary, nor comfortable to have a bathtub in the toilet. It would be better to have only a shower. The color of the walls could be warmer. It is a little depressing to have blue tones surrounding you in a rainy place. |

The staff was friendly and helpful -- especially the doorman who told us to park in a nearby garage to save money. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. The location was perfect -- great restaurants in neighborhood and we walked the entire city from the hotel. We had no closet or any place to hang clothing in our room -- very annoying. We also didn't like that there was no WiFi that worked with our iPhone. Using the business center's computers cost $1/minute. |

Besides doors slamming in the morning as people were leaving for the day, but it was quiet in the room at night. Yes, there was no coffee pot, or tea provided in the room. And the TV check-out system could be much better. It would have saved us waiting in the line up the day we checked out. |

Right in the city center. Excellent location Yes, very expensive to use internet! One can take own laptop and use for free in lobby though! And services are limited. Roomservice food was expensive and not so great! |

The staff was very considerate. We were lucky in that we got a larger room than we expected. I wish the bar had been open later. |

We like the quiet and large size of the room and central location. Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke but we asked to move and our next room was fine. Not sure why but they didn't give shower caps out so had to ask for them. It was also frustrating not having a kettle & tea cups for tea/coffee. We also had to ask to have our glasses in the room replaced as the room service didn't always replace them. |

Excellent property, good location downtown, well kept rooms. They messed up my room rates, and charged me much higher than what had been agreed. They agreed to the mistake and reversed the charges later. |

It's a gracious old hotel, well-kept and appointed, with very comfortable and roomy accommodations. It is quiet yet close to the harbour area and the busy entertainment district. The staff we dealt with were friendly and efficient. I do think the valet parking cost is too high -- cars are parked in nearby lots and not at the hotel. |
