Very friendly and helpful staff!
The King Edward hotel in downtown Toronto is an elegant historical building, with panache! Conveniently located for all kinds of activities, business, culture, sightseeing (a short distance from the lake), Only 30 minutes from the airport (if traffic allows...) and a few minutes from the Central Station. Restaurants? Plenty around! In Toronto for a business trip (or cultural, or both, or more...): Go there! Nota: Renovation is almost completed, so one more reason to head there, hoping that (quite decent) pricing will not increase afterwards...

Nothing is bad I cannot beleive it this is the first hotel that is 100% satisfactory home away from home
The Main Vallet was the man. He could get you anything you want and knew the city. Tip him well.
Lots of weddings and receptions in the lobby. weird.
everything about the place
Everything about this hotel was fantastic.Great location, price was fair for what we got. I went here with my fiance after I proposed.
I have very little bad to say about this hotel except that the overnight menu left a bit to be desired (was extremely pricey with little selection), we just ordered out instead. I suppose it was nice that they had an overnight menu at all though as many hotels don't serve anything after 11pm.
Bed was super comfortable, the King Bed Deluxe room was very spacious! The bathroom was huge! Staff was super friendly in suggesting a nice place to eat in the area and got us a reservation that night, on a Saturday, 30 minutes before we went.
Room was on the 10th floor, when we looked out our one window there was all this construction work being done. The whole lower half of the hotel was covered as it was under construction.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was excellent, friendly and making sure we were comfortable. A great visit and will return.
Disappointed that no free wifi. It seems out of place not to offer it. Also strange that there was no minibar. We would have appreciated that.
The location is great. Staff very professional. Room service,,efficient and amazing food. Building has lots of character.
No bath tub. Loud mechanical noise when heat came on. Nothing in the bar fridge to enjoy. Not even cold water.
Clean and glamorous rooms and lobby!
Michelle at the front desk asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion. When I mentioned it was my birthday she sent an adorable pink cupcake with a lovely card to our room.
The hotel facade was under construction so we actually drove by the hotel and missed it! The interior was lovely and our room was fantastic.
Booked this for my parents for one night for a birthday celebration. They had a great time.
Outside is being renovated.
Your hotel has great style. We like the architecture and the rooms. It is a change from more modern hotels.
Nobody directed us to the Victoria restaurant.
Everything was excellent from facilities to staff. Became engaged in conversation with Doorman over two night stay, who sent a fruit bowl to our room. This Hotel shall be one of the best in Toronto once exterior facade and other planned renovations are completed.
Central location well appointed suites Baz in the Consort Bar Room Service friendly professional staff beautiful hotel lobby very comfortable bed
I loved everything about the hotel-service and staff.
Wi.Fi was awful.....it is so cheap to have Wi.Fi these days.....You should not charge
Wonderful, well designed & immaculately refurbished hotel in a great downtown location in Toronto. Perfect for our theatre night stopover.
The customer service was amazing - everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Even though I was just another guest, they made me feel special.
If you're getting there by car but not parking at the hotel the logistics of checking in Without getting a ticket made me a little anxious. That being said, the concierge was very helpful and ensured me that if my car needed to be moved while I was checking in, they'd handle it.
I rate this hotel a 10/10, normally my highest rating is a 9/10 as I believe there is always room for improvement but could not find anything that needed improving. Part of the hotel was undergoing refurbishment but there was no noise or disruption to our quiet enjoyment at all. Valet parking was outstanding, let us leave our car until 11pm the day we checked out at no additional charge. Would definitely stay again.
Missed having a bathtub in the room.
The location is central and the amenities are superb. Our room was so beautiful. Newly renovated with soaring 16 foot plus ceilings. The bed was divine. Love this hotel.
when we arrived Nancy couldn't find out reservation, and we had to wait. However, Nancy did go above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience with complimentary drinks, breakfast and Wi-Fi. Thank you Nancy for going the extra mile and making out stay amazing as we were celebrating Xmas and anniversary.
Decor, cleanliness, great size of room and location of the room. Comfortable feeling overall.
Missing usb phone charger in room.
A well-located city hotel with comfortable rooms ( modernised recently, I believe ) and beds.Good check-in and a follow-up telephone enquiry to see if I needed anything. Easy check-out.
A bit too expensive especially seeing that it seemed half empty : they need to do some better deals in their low periods.
