Excellent caterers, delicious room service, comfortable bed, newly rennovated huge king executive suite room.
Parking was $45 per day
Very good location, very nice employees
Some works in the room next to us were started at 8 AM (drills, hammers and so on) and lasted during one hour at least, triggering a lot of noise. People are not supposed to be all awaken at this time...
location of hotel and comfort of room
nothing in particular
Our room was on one of the floors that had been renovated- and it was wonderful.
Was assigned a room on the 7th floor with construction work being done on the 8th floor. From 7:45 am on, the work on the 8th floor was as if it was taking place in my room. No need for a wake up call. Complained to the Front desk upon departure and was granted a revised nightly room rate which was appreciated.
Courtesy and attentiveness of the staff.
This was a phenomenal place to stay! The room was extremely spacious and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The lobby is stunning and we even used it as a relaxing after-dinner meeting place.
The hotel's stately, yet understated elegance and, foremost, the friendly staff.
The omni king edward hotel. Omni ? Some cowboy too big for his boots? In SanFrancisco, my home the past 50 years, the Palace Hotel, opened 1876, was, for several years, The "Sheraton" Palace, to the dismay of many S.F.ers. Subsequent owners, in their wisdom, have restored it to, simply, the Palace.
The staff are absolutely outstanding from top to bottom
There was nothing that I did not like
Newly refurbished rooms on the 8th -16th floors. Amazing marble bathrooms with no more tiny tubs and a wondrous roomy walk in shower. It is considerably cheaper on the weekend but valet parking is now $50!
You have to pay for wifi except in lobby. The Hvac system has yet to be updated and is rather noisy. They don't drop a Globe or Star outside your room anymore- just the National Post.
Beautiful building, in a fabulous location.
Beautiful renovated room Impressive Lobby Courteous, professional staff
No fridge in room unpleasant jazz music in lobby
central location, friendly stuff, renovated room
I asked for and was given a refurbished room. It was large, tastefully decorated, modern but not sterile, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also nicely appointed. The hotel lobby had an old world charm. I would stay here again.
Large shower, brand new everything! The suite was fabulous.
The new lamp shorted out and the safe kept malfunctioning.
I made a special trip from Pickering on Oct.1 to prepay the room. This was done to ensure there would not be any problems at a later date. You did not process my payment until the 11th or 12th. On a previous occasion I prepaid my hotel bill at the RITZ Carlton and the processed right away and gave me a receipt.
Quality bedding, spacious room, fair-sized bar downstairs, very friendly staff
no bathtub,no creamers for coffee
construction was going on in the hotel on the floor above and was quite disturbing during the daytime
Compensation for noisy room
Friendly professional staff Great location Value for money
Beautifully renovated, huge room! Prime location! Great service. Didn't want to leave!
The bathroom rug didn't fit between the sink and toilet (too big) and kept getting caught in the door/sliding all around. Not the neatest looking for such a beautiful room.
Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby. The breakfast was supposed to be included, but I had to charge the room to take it. However, as soon as I showed that I had paid for it, it was deleted from my bill.
Staff was nice and went above to ensure our problems were dealt with efficiently.
Room was falling apart and we were woke up by construction every morning for 3 days. Food was sub-par.
It stunk our room up. I called to tell them and they asked what I wanted them to do?!? I had to remove gross old food myself. We had booked 2 nights and just stayed one and went to another hotel
