The fact that construction occurred right outside our room, on scaffolding, beginning at 730am.
room size, toiletries, lobby and reception service, wifi, robes in room, water bottle
no cream in the room (for coffee) or fridge
Great location, excellent staff.
Loud construction noise early in the morning. It sounded like it was coming from the room immediately over head.
Spacious room Comfortable bed Nice bathroom
Noisy street-side room, definitely ask for a room not facing King Street No free internet in the room
I like that they call the hotel the King Eddie. Our room was large and comfortable
It was difficult to see that it was a historic hotel as many of the things that were old had been covered with modern looks
location and staff
hallways a bit dated.strange layout in the room and very small desk
Great location for sightseeing in downtown. Restaurant food was great.
No accessible parking; had to use valet service.
The location was excellent and the room itself was comfortable and quite large.
There was a complete lack of interest from the staff. Failure to correct an error in the registered name twice, in spite of it being pointed out. An empty minibar. There was work being done and the noise of the drills began at 8:00 AM. At the very least someone should have highlighted this at the time of checking-in. No assistance offered by Concierge, no attempt to ascertain if the stay had been a good one or if there were any issues.
Staff very helpful especially Chris at the door, Lucy at reception.
The shower trays
Good access to public transportation, and within easy walking distance or trolley ride to many sightseeing areas, shops and restaurants.
In need of a bit of sprucing up, but it looks like the hotel may be starting some renovation.
The bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure from the shower. The valet service was much appreciated.
The internet connection cut out once or twice. The TV was quite far from the bed, so making out which channel was which was a little difficult...
Grand lobby and large comfortable room
There was a lot of building work going on and it looks like this will be the case for some time
Room was very clean and large. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Michelle on the desk was instrumental in making our experience at the Omni King Edward incredible. Venerable hotel, exquisite reno-ed room, excellent location in historic Toronto within walking distance of the lakeshore, Blue Jays games and good pubs.
I like how friendly and helpful the staff was! Beautiful Hotel
The room was newly refurbished & had everything we could have asked for. Staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble, & we had a wonderful breakfast every morning.
Unfortunately the view from our room was a brick wall which was a shame but not the end of the world. However, we did find the background music in the public areas rather annoying, especially the jazz at breakfast!
The staff was very helpful
The negative would be the parking fee
Within walking distance of Rogers Centre/Dundas Square Comfortable Beds Staff was helpful
They have a renovation going on, and started really early in the morning, and also that we stayed in the older part of the hotel and the room and the bathroom has become really tired, but the location is the best.
Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was as-described, with everything in working order. Very comfortable bed. Roomy bathroom (or "washroom" as our northern neighbors put it.) Plush bathrobes.
A small thing, but...housecleaning would remove the room service breakfast tray and place in the hallway and sometimes no one would collect it all day long. When you return after a day of touring, it should be gone. When brought to the front desk's attention, it was dealt with promptly and courteously.
location, style, friendly staff,
a bit expensive
Brandon the bartender is outstanding.
There was construction outside of my window but other then that the stay was great!
We enjoyed our large suite, cleanliness of the hotel, beautiful lobby, and perfect location.
We had to find parking elsewhere because hotel rates were too high.
