The location in Old Montreal was excellent. Also easy access to the rest of the city, i.e. St Laurent Blvd, etc. The roof top terrace was a lovely spot for drinks.

The noise level of the bar on the ground floor of the hotel which is bad news if your room is situated on the floors above it as you will not be able to sleep. Bear this in mind when making your booking as the staff is helpful.

Great location, nice gesture to give a drink voucher on arrival.

Had expected tea & coffee making facilities - but only a mini bar.

Location: in the heart of Old Montreal

Noisy from the bar downstairs. No in-room coffee. Very expensive on little extras that are normally free at other hotels, ie. parking, 2-tier internet, room service.

Our experience was incredible and one vacation i'll always remember... Friendly, courteous and dedicated staff,breakfast room service order was incorrect at first but swiftly and politely remedied with complimentary mimosa ,given extra pillows upon request, extra umbrella,staff shared local knowledge of interesting things to do and see. My most memorable thought is that everyone expressed genuine interest in me and how much they cared about making my vacation the best it could be.Thank you one and all...i hope to revisit again. The location is central to anything/anywhere one would like to go.

Even thought the weather was cold, rainy and windy we still found Montreal very interesting and charming. Old Montreal locals were very cordial and helpful, so no , there isn't anything we didn't like

- beautiful location - friendly staff - clean

- at over $400 a night, you'd expect at least what the room description offered. - no exposed brick (bare walls and angular piece work drywall) - Television didn't even fit in the entertainment unit; and the cover on the DVD player drawer was broken off/removed...just bare hinges. - slippers were not provided - cushions missing from patio furniture - 'View of Historic Rue St-Jacques' was sadly underwhelming (dilapidated, boarded up windows, crumbling roof tops; a ungodly sized Le Presse sign hung crookedly in view) - No coffee maker?! In a Junior sweet? Holiday Inn would even blush. Not even a complimentary bottle of water?! Just grossly over priced impulse items: $4 for a mini tin of pringles. $40 for a $12 bottle of wine?! Seriously...and the room was littered with such items. It was like being in an over priced Depanneur. No class what-so-ever. - Jets in tub kept going off (even while we bathed). Spoke to the front desk after first sleepless night, only to be told we should have called them...at 2am in the morning?!...maybe make sure your facilities are better maintained BEFORE your guests check in). He said the tub would be inspected...not sure if it was, as the jets came on and off the second night, as well). Unnerving. - Seal on the shower door was peeling of at the bottom, so water was all over the floor after each shower. - Wooden desk and entertainment unit were obviously old, not 'rustic'. Chips were noticed all over each, making them look cheap, and poorly maintained. - we didn't get a chance to use our 'complimentary' beverage certificate (wedding receptions all the time in 701), and so asked if the two local bottled beers we had from the 'outrageously priced' mini bar could be used instead. This became a huge deal at check out. In the end the exchange was accepted, but not before we were made to feel rather 'uninformed' about your pricing and policies.

friendly employees at front desk. Really good location and very clean, quiet and comfortable. Jose at front desk was very helpful and made our stay even better with his recommendations.

We were upgraded from a junior suite to an executive suite which was perfect!

It took me awhile to find the mini fridge. Room seemed bigger on the pictures. Don't like the pillows.

Staff did not go the extra mile. No shuttle to Downtown. Car service is very expensive. They were asking 100$ for pick from train station to the hotel which by taxi is 10$.

Location was excellent for the old town and the basilica, staff were friendly and good local knowledge.

If i have to say something,would be limited choice on menu, but thats being picky !

Staff were exceptional. Nicely designed hotel, great bed and nice food.

One or two minor things not working, tv, room I was first booked into had bottle of water open, used key, wet towel on floor and basin had been used. The hotel handled it very well. Just need to watch the detail. Need to learn how to make a White Russian !

The room was not made on our second day we had to call for room service at approximately 3:30.. the hotels shower door would not close properly creating a bit of water outside the shower... The complementary water was not very clear that it was complementary...

We were really disappointed when we found out that the access to the steam room was not included in the price and it was not clearly mentioned on their website and booking.com The staff was unfriendly.

The reception was very courteous and efficient. The hotel is very well situated. It is kept very clean in a nice cozy atmosphere. The room was great and the concierge service was also couteous and efficient. We will definitely return but will eat breakfast elsewhere.

We stayed 1 night & had breakfast in morning at Hotel which is renown for its 5* restaurant aix. Unfortunately, breakfast did not meet our expectations. Presentation and food were unacceptable. Their *so said* brunch at $17pp. Is not worthy of a real brunch & bagels and waffles were not fresh, nor were the fruit and cut sliced cheese...and all the rest). Will never eat breakfast there again.

Great Hotel

Another guest drove into my car while it was in the care of the gentlemen at the valet. I was checking out as the valet came to me and informed me that another guest just drove into my front bumper and damaged & cracked it. The staff was not helpful or sympathetic at all - I was left to make my own arrangement and was not looked after at all. The attention to this matter was non-existent, and it was obvious that no one cared. I am very disappointed in the service from this '5 star' hotel, and I will tell everyone I know who ever speaks to me of this hotel. This is not acceptable, and I wil never recommend this establishment.

Charming old bulding. Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfort. Luxury but "trendy" at the same time. Fantastic stay !

The location is very convenient for the sightseeing, Staff is very friendly.

There were several problems with the suite we stayed - during the night we were waken up by somebody from the reception since in one of the two bathroom water was leaking (thankfully it was clean water). The whole night there was a very loud humming noise, probably an air-conditioner from another room.

Room was one of the best we have stayed in and the location was great.

Excellent location, I had an executive suite which was very comfortable and well designed. Quiet location. Nice building in a quiet area. close to the Convention center. excellent restaurant in the hotel.

Some renovations done at the hotel during my stay. The toilet flush was stuck on and off. No bathtub cap which made it useless, but it was corrected promptly the day after.
