Location, location, location.
Be careful of bed corners when walking around the room.
Too dark in rooms.
The hotel is located in Old Town and many sites and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Breakfast and wifi came with our room rate. All the members of the staff with whom we came into contact were friendly, attentive to our needs, and professional in their demeanor and service delivery. The room (junior suite) was large and clean, as was the bathroom.
The music in Suite 701 Lounge Restaurant was terrible. This is a classy restaurant, and good music should be played, like light jazz, show tunes, and music from the Great American Songbook.
Great staff, great location, historic
Bed sagged to the middle
location Staff Restaurant Room
Staff were extremely helpful and responsive. Bathroom smelled nice and was spotless. Great location. Free wifi worked! Welcome pastry was very good.
What sounded like water pressure noise, or maybe furnace noise, kept me up. In-room dining was expensive and portion (I got the yaki udon) was small.
the staff at this hotel were unusual in their efforts to make our stay outstanding and they achieved this. the rooms were very pleasant and well kept. The restaurant had excellent food and drinkand the service was impeccable. I would very much recomment this hotel to anyone wanting a hotel that is well located and attentive to every need of their guests. would definitely return and recommend
Good size room and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Noisy room, a little tired in the furnishings
The Roof Top Bar was a bonus
I reserved internet and showed the room grade with photos. Photo shows bathroom with bathtub and I considered the same but unfortunately only shower.
I loved everything. But a two night stay for 1400 dollars is a little ridiculous. (us dollars.)
Perfect location and beautiful room. Staff was very helpful when we had a last minute change in plans and had to leave early.
Great roof top bar, location is close to major sights and transport
Noisy on top floors below rooftop bar
Comfort and design of the rooms. Hugh class staff. Great location to visit old Montréal
Very expensive hotel No swimming pool
The hotel is in a beautiful building and very well situated for old Montreal. The staff are generally helpful and service excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable with wonderful bathrooms. The bistro bar serves excellent food.
Our room was to the back of the hotel and it was extremely noisy. We were frequently wakened in the middle of the night with what seemed to be disposal of bottles and rubbish - lots of clanking and banging. In the early hours of the morning the noise of what sounded like construction work was also a problem. The lift in our building seemed to be heavily used as a service lift and with some staff seeming to feel that guests using the lift were a bit of an inconvenience.
Nice little extras, like fresh fruit and infused water in the lobby in the afternoons. Evening turn down service. Very personable and helpful staff. Close to lots of great restaurants
Toilet ran my entire stay though I let them know the first day. Only complaint
The staff was very knowledgable, personable and very helpful! The restuarant was very good, and so was the staff.
The hotel is very well situated in the old part of Montreal...a block from Notre Dame Basilica; a block from an entrance to the Underground; close to Rue St. Paul...great location. Room was very small but had a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was roomy, clean and well stocked. We had a walk in shower. Concierge and valet were very helpful.
Small things - there was a slat on the blinds which was broken and the frame on the art over the bed was peeling. Disappointed in that aspect.
Location! Wonderful service
Liked everything about the hotel.
Only improvement would have been a coffee maker in the room.
Quality of service, friendliness of staff was outstanding. Everyone we came in contact with including bellmen, front desk, wait staff in restaurants, housekeeping, were all as friendly and helpful as at any hotel I have ever stayed at. Location great. Quality and comfort of room outstanding.
High quality but imited restaurant/bar facilities. Since we were there during wedding season, one evening every food/beverage option in the hotel was closed for private party. So when we got back to the hotel in the evening, we could not even grab a snack or drink.
How the price of the room change every day without any basis, it seems it's the policy of booking.com
We were exposed to ear-piercing music from the Terrace until 3 am one night. It was impossible to sleep unless, like my wife, you slept on the bathroom floor with the door closed. It was a 5 star nightmare...
