Location, service and breakfast in the room.
The Soap is too tiny it breaks within the first use.
This was my third time staying here. I enjoyed it each time. It's warm, comfortable but not fancy, more like a cottage. I loved it so much more than the upscale " professional/snooty" hotels I've stayed at! Staff was helpful, and cared!
It was a bit noisy with party goers stomping up the stairs and in the halls but certainly not unbearable. The sameness of breakfasts each day.
Helpful staff that spoke English. Also, a nice room service breakfast.
Location, value, shower pressure, fairly clean
No shampoo and other accessories in the toilet, just a 2 star basic hotel. Lack
It was second time staying at this hotel because first time we loved everything, location, cleanliness, staff, ect. But this time I saw huge cockroach running under my dad's bed. I was terrified and refused to fall askeep in this room, but when I got too tired of course I did not have a choice so I went to bed. Nothing happened to me even though I slept poorly because this thing did not leave my mind :( However, we never saw it after and everything was great as always. This time the room they gave us was huge and spacious with two king size beds and two washrooms, very convenient.
Cockroach Poor breakfast View from the windows
Beyond perfect location, very welcoming and helping staff. Me my girlfriend and bestfriend stayed in a family room. We went to bars and the casino and a lot of shopping, the location can't get better you literally are 2 intersections from metro berry UQAM which is the main metro the can get you everywhere. Overall decent place.
Definitely didn't like the poor amount of necessities inside the room. Basic room, no view, and don't ask about under the beds. Overall though you can't go wrong with the location and staff. You shouldn't be at your hotel long anyways. (2014- August 29- Sept 1)
very close to ste Catherine street and all the clubs and bars and restaurants.
clean and easy
one of the front desk attendents was not very friendly or helpful otherwise everyone else was delightful.
dirty floors in hotel, old air-condition, wooden plank in window,
Location Price Staff
Dirt everywhere They don't clean before you arrive, not during your stay or after you leave...
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and free and delivered to the room. Room was clean and big for 2 people. The location is great. Restaurants, supermarket, drug store and other types of stores are only a couple of minutes walk. Metro and bus station are 5-10 minutes walk.
The air condition is a bit loud. There's no shampoo and conditioner. The bed is not very comfortable. I assume this is normal for 2-star hotel.
Location was good and that's all!
The hotel is old and smells smoke and dust. The bed isn't comfortable and there's no noise insulation at all. W couldn't get a decent night sleep in none of the days we stayed at this place. I don't recommend it at all!
The hotel is good value for the money paid. It is in a good location for me - near the Gay Village. Staff are very friendly and willing to please.
The location was excellent - 10-15 minute walk to Old Montreal/Old Port and a couple of blocks from Metro station. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Gave us wonderful suggestions for places to visit, plus helped us with directions to get there. LOVED the breakfast delivery. Great way to start the day!
The available parking was full and we had to park a few blocks away, but given the hotel's location in the city, I don't fault the hotel. To their credit, the recommended parking lot worked well. We felt the car was safe and the price was reasonable.
Very clean and good value for the price. WiFi was excellent and hotel is located in the midst of everything.
Close to the hustle and bustle of Montreal
The first floor is super noisy
friendly staff, breakfast delivered to your room. left one bag when we travelled to quebec city - easy close to village eateries and shops. transport (bus) to airport and Quebec 2 blocks away and metro which works very good even closer. wifi strong and easy to use
breakfast menu restricted front door opening out onto entry steps was difficult with luggage.
Location was great, close to everything
Was a bit old and a little grubby but not enough to put me off for the location
NOT the room! NOT the breakfast!
the room the breakfast the staff I booked a dbl room for $109 with breakfast and ended up paying $129 for a hostel -like room. Very expensive concidering the room itself... Aside from getting overcharged our stay was short but definately NOT sweet!
not far from center town
wii fii the size of the room no parking poor reception not worth the price poor kleening
Great location: downtown, in the heart of the gay village. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Room is smelly. Building is old. Carpet is dark and disgusting.
