I had the luxury king suite, it was very luxurious, very clean, very attractive room, the best you can wish for in a hotel
One of the girl at the counter was very hard smiling. But thats it
The ice machine was broken and when I called the front desk, they claim that they had no ice on the hotel. There is a restaurant so it is not possible. The staff are just not helpful. They will not go out of their way to help you. I expect more from this hotel especially for the price.
Good location, disliked the parking situation, need to leave the car on the side which is always full, long wait to leave and get your car as they valet service it. Pool is more an oversised bath tub. Restaurant is nice but myself being a culinary management chef, the food was nothing over the top, rabbit was dry and bland. Very small portion for the price. The duck was okay, a little tough and gamey flavor. Should have been seared and then cooked at a low temp for a longer period. Staff was excellent.
Hotel, the room, bistro, location, very clean....
the reception staff
Everything was comfortable. It is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The concierge who helped us with our bags when we checked out was particularly friendly and helpful.
The bedroom facing onto the main street (Rue Maisonneuve),needs drapes that need to be pulled right across so that they cover the whole window because the lights from the office block opposite shine in the bedroom all night. Other than that the beds were very comfortable.
Hotel was in a good location, close to McGill, and close enough to plenty so you can walk. Metro is easy and close.
Parking and access to your car is limiting - your car is valeted and parked in a garage. Also navigating how to enter the hotel upon arrival is tricky, coming in on a one way street.
swimming pool only in the mourning sunshine and small
The great location , the cleanliness .
The style of the curtains is not quite useful , it doesn't block the day light at all .
Location is excellent if you are looking to do be downtown. Close to McGill University and Train Station
Leaving your car for the Valet can be a little tricky.
My Fiance and I were celebrating our anniversary and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Le St. Martin. The room was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. A short cab ride into Old Montreal and excellent access to shops and spas made this a perfect location for us.
location is excellant, right in the heart of downtown and close to metro station; walking distance to old montreal, it is a relatively new, and clean ; doorman are nice;
front desk management is ridiculous; my card key doesn't work for a couple of time during my stay and when the last time it happens, the front desk request an identity card with my photo, which i don't have and he refuse to change my card key, saying that i should carry an identity card all the time; i ask him to go up to the room with me so i can show it to him, which he refuse because he is alone at that time ; what do you expect me to do ? we start yelling at each other until he finally gave up; i never heard of something even close ; the price of the hotel is quite expensive for service , facility and comfort;
The location .
Too noisy !
valet parking, nice bed, great bathroom, nice tv´s, helpful bilingual staff quick to correct small problem with tv, shopping and grayline tours very close
not enough k-cups for coffee maker, noise from street until bars closed about 1 am
Floor to ceiling windows providing a spectacular view Great beds Comfortable bathroom
Old town is very touristy
no free Wifi in the room。Parking is not free.
STAFF, especially staff Location, Location, Location
Wifi is really bad Air conditioning is way to noisy
The front desk were excellent in helping choose a restaurant for dinner, made our last minute reservations and no waiting we we arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the deep bathtub was amazing! Would definitely recommend to others.
The pool was very small.
Hotel is very modern with upscale decor, rooms clean, beds awesome.
not cheap by any means, also advertized as a Luxe Suite, it was not a suite just a fair sized room with a sliding louvered wall opened to the bathroom, be good for a romantic stay.
The staff was helpful and the cleanliness of the hotel.
The pool area is rather small.
Wi-fi. No good have to. Log in everyday and was poor
The over all experience
I love the fact there was outside dining.
I don't have any negative thoughts.
This hotel was definitely by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. At the beginning of our stay everything was fine. My boyfriend and I parked the car in valet and we were reassured by the staff that it was extremely safe and secured. My boyfriend had left his wallet with over 900$ in the vehicle overnight and valet parked the vehicle for us. The next morning upon checkout valet returned us the vehicle but only the wallet and 900$ in it was missing! For a 5 start hotel this is absolutely disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach.. There management is horrible and has no sense of respect. We've addressed this issue to him and we've filled a police report. Nothing was done for us.. No credit for the room when I payed over 300$ and not even a call back from the management! This is disgusting and in a 5 star hotel this should not take place. People save your money and go to a trustworthy hotel. I will never be returning to le st-Martin and I will make sure my friends and family don't ever go to the downtown location in Montreal st-Martin yet alone any of their chains! I will be spreading the word!!
Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and approachable.
Valet phones were out of service in the garage. Prices of drinks in the room were not advertised. (Did not purchase any because of this) TV in the bathroom of the suite did not work.
Good location, friendly staff
