Size of room and the amenities within. Murphy bed was very comfortable and bathroom spacious. Good water heat and pressure. Nice lobby and attentive doormen. Great location.
Breakfast not very good. Some noise from street but didn't bother us.
The weather didn't cooperate
The hotel lobby was nice, the room spacious and comfortable. The location was perfectly situated for visiting all areas of interest in the city.
Murphy beds are not what we would consider a pleasant nor comfortable arrangement and we were never informed of the set up. When inquired, the explanation by staff was dismissive.
loved the decor and service food was good and a good value the location was amazing, close to restaurants and attractions ,
hard to think of anything couldn't be much better
-location, location, location -early check-in offered graciously -oversized accommodation -Concierge and Front Desk personal
-wedding in space off main lobby; music thumped until 3am; our room was on 3rd floor; it did not appear as though anything was done to squelch this -more thought should have been given/paid to other guests; music should have had cutoff time of midnight
The hotel has a very cool but friendly vibe. Newspapers were available daily. The lounge was great for after dinner desserts, coffee, or drinks. The location in old town is excellent.
The Saint-Sulpice Hotel is a excellent hotel well located in the historic old part of Montreal. There are numerous restaurants, pubs, shops and art galleries in close walking distance to the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and a good place to relax.
There is not much not to like about this hotel.
Design Facilities-dining, garden, concierge, etc. Location and shopping
the shower wall which lit up when trying to sleep-no natural light no bedside tables and position of bed
After a long day attending a trade show, this was such a relaxing retreat. Location is the best and staff was very friendly.
Super comfortable bed, well appointed room, excellent breakfast in Sinclair restaurant, within distance to old port and right behind the Notre Dame Basilica
Politeness and helpfulness of staff excellent. Location could not be improved
Air conditioning fairly noise and ambient noise high when room located above reception area
Wonderful location!!! And when we arrived we received a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Suite on the top floor. It was so roomy so our teenagers were pleased. We also had a balcony off of our bedroom and a small patio off of the living room, where we had dinner one night with our kids. The only drawback was the weather at the time.
They didn't provide enough coffee!!
Location was great and hotel was ideal. Lots of space in room, all contemporary and close to great restaurants.
Loved the room - quite large (very long, if also narrow). The bathroom was fantastic and was the room's best feature: quite spacious, walk-in shower with European fixtures, great lighting, well appointed. The hotel also has a very nice outdoor bar area (we didn't try the restaurant).
Wi-Fi was metered, so completely unreliable and slowed to a crawl if you had more than one device in your room or if others in the hotel were on at the same time. Also, the main bed was a pull-down (out of the wall); while it was better than we had feared, it was still only adequate as opposed to truly comfortable.
The location was right in the heart of Old Montreal, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were large, and comfortable. I slept like I was sleeping in my own bed.
The wifi wasn't working great. If I told the staff they probably would have fixed it, but I wasn't there to sit on the internet.
We had a suite with a separate bedroom area for my husband and myself, apart from the living area where our two daughters slept, one in a sofabed and one in a Murray bed, plus a kitchenette - very nice! The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful. Very pleased all around.
French style Great location Nice stuff
A perfect choice for Old Montreal ; great location , spacious accommodations and wonderful staff.
As soon as we stopped the car outside the hotel there was someone there to take the car and the luggage. Effortless arrival. The room was fantastic and the beds so comfortable. Fabulous stay. Conscierge helped with everything we needed. Perfect.
Breakfast just not quite as good, staff friendly but not as efficient.
Great views and wonderful location! Right in the heart of Old Montreal.
Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent location.
It was the perfect location for us. Our competition venue was very close and there were many excellent restaurants within a short walk.
The WiFi was extremely undependable. My husband needed to accomplish some work while we were there, and it took him over an hour to send a single email to his office. Our connect would drop frequently.
Hotel is very well kept and modern, with contemporary style furnishings. All staff were very polite and courteous with us and our kids (loud). The best part is the location! Right in the centre of the old city, it is next to the old port (marina) and walking distance to many of the old tourist streets. One of the best hotels (and we have had our share from shady motels to Dubai's Atlantis and Burj) we've stayed in so far!
Great location and friendly staff.
The restaurant added extra items to the bill and the deserts were not the best.
