So close to everything! Walking distance to Royal Park, Old Town and around the corner from the main shopping/restaurant district! Would definitely stay there again!
I hope if they can put some drinking water and tea bags in the room.
The hotel was very close by to the US Consulate which is where we needed to go, a few blocks from the train station. It was comfortable because it felt like we were in an apartment rather than a stuffy hotel room. Loved the kitchen (although we weren't there long enough to use it). And the staff was AMAZING!!!! They were so knowledgeable and helped us out immensely! Last but not least: when we arrived, we were told we were upgraded to a King Suite. Wonderful!
Little outdated in decor and style. Also, we would have like to have been warned of the minor construction being done on our floor the next morning. The good thing was that we were out and about before it started.
Clean, spacious, just awesome room.
Size of rooms Size of closets Excellent location, close to metro, restaurants, business and entertainments. Kitchenette, with dining table. You can order excellent food to your suite from Italian restaurant within premises.
We were so comfortable and happy here, we had a separate room for putting little kids down for naps, and plenty of room for older kids to work on homework or play while the little kids slept. Wonderful place for a family!
Le Square Phillips is a great place to stay. Being first time travelers to Montreal, and not knowing the area we chose Le Square Phillips based on reviews. The hotel is close to old Montreal and about a 20 minute walk to just about anywhere. The staff was helpful and was glad to give recommendations and directions. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of food. We would stay again
Breakfast maybe served until 10:00 instead of 9:30
The location, the pool, the breakfast.
location, close to everything, friendly helpful staff.
The room was like a big studio apartment. The room had 2 flat screen TVs, a nice size kitchen, huge bathroom. There is nothing bad I can say about it.
The hotel has a very good location. Around the corner are the stops for the airport bus and 2 different metro lines are within easy walking distance, as well as shopping centers and the famous St. Catherine street with good restaurants. Huge room with kitchen and seating area. And how cool, a swimming pool on the 11th floor. Whenever you want to know something, ask the concierge.
Size and value of appartment
Service, comfort, simplicity, home like environment.
There were no such experiences.
Size of the room, kitchen and the small swimming pool which the children enjoyed.
I would like to have been given the complete price of the room when booking and not the price minus the taxes which turned out to be quite a lot!!
Booked online and got $139 for a junior King suite. Spacious. Well appointed. Overlooking the square. Would certainly stay again. Parking was $22 day. Valet only. We kept car in parking til 3 pm and walked city, saving on downtown parking.
The spacious room, full kitchen and cleanliness.
Construction going on in hotel.
Location of hotel was excellent and the room was nice and spacious.
The reception was rather dreary as were the corridors. The swimming pool was very colorinated.
Centrally located. Very nice room. Great breakfast. Nice indoor pool and laundry facilities. Excellent restaurant.
the location and spaciousness of the room are the hotel's best features. Add to the the lovely breakfast. I liked having the exercise machines to myself Sunday morning. The view of the nearby buildings is always fascinating to me. I always go to the Musee des Art Contemporain which is a walk away, for the latest in video and installation art--and it did not fail to entertain me. Just love coming to this hotel whenever I'm in Montreal.
Location Facilities Helpfulness of staff
WiFi needs to be improved
We loved the location of this hotel - right around the corner from mid-downtown, and an easy walk to many interesting attractions. The hotel itself is lovely. We had a huge room with comfy king bed, large screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, and the biggest spotless bathroom we have had in over 3 months travelling in Canada & US. The staff were wonderful too - welcoming, friendly, and very helpful in every way. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, and there are others within a block. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend it to others.
I'd suggest that the water in the pool could be warmer, and a place provided to change our of a wet swimsuit before going back down to the hotel room.
too many good things to say.....location great for old town and shopping area, room was massive and very well equipped. Breakfast good selection and plenty of it. All staff encountered were helpful and very friendly. Don't forget to visit the pool deck, has a wonderful balcony overlooking the city,a great place to sit and have a drink!
absolutely nothing bad to say....we'll be back!
