Score from 481 reviews Very good
Location was great, in lower old town QC. Just off of Place Royale. Close to restaurants and shopping. At the bottom of the large steep hill up to the upper part of Old Quebec- great work out! Loved the "charm" of the building. Included breakfast was substantial condidering it was included. The staff were all excellent! Very friendly and helpful!
We had a double bed, which was not advertised as such when we booked. Though the linens were nice, the actual bed was uncomfortable, made worse by the fact is was also narrow. Attempts to email for a possible upgrade went unanswered, and once at hotel we were told the concierge had been off sick for 3 days, and so no one had access to this email address (the one they provided in the confirmation email for any questions!)
Perfect location for strolling along narrow streets lined with cafés, galleries and charming shops. Staff was very friendly and their recommendations for dining and activities were wonderful
Rather dark and gloomy interior. Dark lobby, no amenities. Very small room.
Staff is wonderful and professional. They stop what they're doing to give their full attention to you.
It was a little warm in the room and the air conditioning was turned off for the season. Opened windows did fine, but air conditioning would have been nicer.
The location was perfect, walking distance to many points of interest . The room we had faced the St Lawrence river and we could see a the boats. It was not the largest of the hotels rooms but it was certainly roomy enough for us!. Large bathroom with a spa tub. We also thought the breakfast was outstanding, as was the wait staff. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would certainly stay again.
I have to be honest, all of my boxes were ticked by staying here. You really never know what you are going to get when you go to different countries, but here we were pleasantly surprised and happy.
Location- Location Couldn't ask for better. Room and staff were very obliging . Never heard a sound between rooms. Was the 3 nights
There was a blip in the breakfast room--45 minutes wait and then I had to remind the waitress--people who came in 15 minutes after us got there food and finished before ours arrived ( I believe they got our breakfast as it was the same as what we ordered--I was sitting next to them) Only downer.
Location and service
Hear a lot from your own room. Old building therefore not well isolated and sound proofed but still charming.
Excelent location. We stayed at the Hotel when it first opened years ago and we keep on coming back. Best breakfast, good accommodations and great staff.
Helpful staff Great location Great breakfasts Comfortable ambience
Room space was tight
Centrally placed in the old port of Quebec, this auberge has character and is ideal for visiting the Unesco site of Quebec. Within walking distance of the railway station with local restaurants and attached hotel for bar and evening meals. Breakfast is great value.
Not a lot, room was a bit tight for space and like many hotels, our double room only had one armchair.
Location is perfect!
Didn't sleep well due to the Air con noise all night.
Very large room, Quiet, short walk to old town, across the street from Museum of Civilisation.
Housekeeping a little bit slow, but otherwise very good. No room safes.
Great location in Old Quebec with very friendly and helpful staff
What a lovely hotel. We ended up with room 118, an enormous, gorgeous studio with a perfect washroom. It lies on a very pretty street close some of the best restaurants in Quebec. Nothing could have been better while in Quebec City
Staff very nice and willing to help
Not good value for money. Breakfast is average.
We were upgraded to a "suite," which is a big room with a sleeping area carved out. But view was rather nice, overlooking the Museum of Civilisation, and a slice of the river. Breakfast was good too.
Our travelling companion had a dark room on the 1st floor. Our phones didn't work.
Friendly staff, great room and very comfy bed. Perfect location.
Wireless was spotty.
A lovely spot!
The front door is hard to hold open if you have a bad knee. It slams shut pretty quickly.
As it was raining when we went to go out, we used their umbrellas, which was much appreciated. There is a little waiting room, lounge area with tea, coffee and newspapers which we were able to take advantage of before leaving. All the staff were very friendly, the concierge was extremely helpful with directions, recommendations for restaurants and general tourist information.
Very accommodating staff - provide free water bottles, quick valet parking, decent full breakfasts included, etc. Great location - right in the heart of Lower Town Quebec near attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront Clean, modern rooms and hallways Quiet rooms
Bathrooms showing a bit of wear - broken floor tiles, tarnished faucets Only one sink for a double room WiFi only worked on one device?
the location is perfect
The girl attending desk was so helpful in directions in Quebec City
We had a wonderful weekend stay at Le St. Pierre. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Breakfasts were fantastic. We really appreciated our boîte a lunch when we had to leave before breakfast for a tour. The room was small but very clean and cozy. We loved the cold lemon water!
Travelling with my adult daughter we found the double bed snug and our room couldn't accommodate a cot.
