Helpful staff Great location Great breakfasts Comfortable ambience
Room space was tight
Centrally placed in the old port of Quebec, this auberge has character and is ideal for visiting the Unesco site of Quebec. Within walking distance of the railway station with local restaurants and attached hotel for bar and evening meals. Breakfast is great value.
Not a lot, room was a bit tight for space and like many hotels, our double room only had one armchair.
Location is perfect!
Didn't sleep well due to the Air con noise all night.
Great location in Old Quebec with very friendly and helpful staff
What a lovely hotel. We ended up with room 118, an enormous, gorgeous studio with a perfect washroom. It lies on a very pretty street close some of the best restaurants in Quebec. Nothing could have been better while in Quebec City
Staff very nice and willing to help
Not good value for money. Breakfast is average.
We were upgraded to a "suite," which is a big room with a sleeping area carved out. But view was rather nice, overlooking the Museum of Civilisation, and a slice of the river. Breakfast was good too.
Our travelling companion had a dark room on the 1st floor. Our phones didn't work.
Friendly staff, great room and very comfy bed. Perfect location.
Wireless was spotty.
A lovely spot!
The front door is hard to hold open if you have a bad knee. It slams shut pretty quickly.
As it was raining when we went to go out, we used their umbrellas, which was much appreciated. There is a little waiting room, lounge area with tea, coffee and newspapers which we were able to take advantage of before leaving. All the staff were very friendly, the concierge was extremely helpful with directions, recommendations for restaurants and general tourist information.
Very accommodating staff - provide free water bottles, quick valet parking, decent full breakfasts included, etc. Great location - right in the heart of Lower Town Quebec near attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront Clean, modern rooms and hallways Quiet rooms
Bathrooms showing a bit of wear - broken floor tiles, tarnished faucets Only one sink for a double room WiFi only worked on one device?
the location is perfect
The girl attending desk was so helpful in directions in Quebec City
We had a wonderful weekend stay at Le St. Pierre. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Breakfasts were fantastic. We really appreciated our boîte a lunch when we had to leave before breakfast for a tour. The room was small but very clean and cozy. We loved the cold lemon water!
Travelling with my adult daughter we found the double bed snug and our room couldn't accommodate a cot.
Price, no free parking
excellent location and beautiful building.
had to wait for breakfast as room very small
We really enjoyed the hotel, the location was so convenient for everything we were doing. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room and hotel very clean, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast that was included in our rate was beyond our expectations too. Overall great weekend, and pleasant experience.
there were no vending machines ... we found that odd.
having to wi-fi
Great location, friendly staff, Nice room, comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast on days that the dining room is open (see negative comments)
No elevator (We had to use the one of the sister hotel in the adjacent building), No miniature fridge in the room, Ice available only on request at the reception. These are the reasons I gave a 'Fair' rating to the value for money question in the survey. On the second day of our stay, the breakfast dining room was closed due to 'technical problems' and we were sent to the the sister hotel's dining room. If you like a half-stocked continental buffet presented by an understaffed crew in a dining room where heavy-metal music is being played, this is your place. We dearly missed our pleasant experience of the first morning. The ceramic tiles on the bathroom floor were so loose that we had an eerie feeling that the floor could cave in under our feet!!!
Nearly unbeatable location. Great breakfast (especially the in-room option). Beautiful and clean property. Comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice bathrobes.
The WiFi signal is strong, but the speed is outrageously slow. I haven't experienced Internet access this slow since the late 90's. This hotel and the whole neighborhood shuts down early. If you're going to be out past 10 PM, better plan ahead because there's nothing open - couldn't even buy a bottle of water. Maybe hotel staff could have been summoned by ringing a bell (I didn't try), but the lobby and front desk appear to be unstaffed by late evening.
very clean and kind except a few person
Visited Quebec for the first time in June and this was a great location from which to explore this great city - though the steep climb to the upper time might be a challenge for some. It's very close to a selection of good restaurants. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was very charming and very clean. The breakfasts are cooked to order and the eggs benedict are divine! Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The only negative was that on a couple of days, the rooms weren't cleaned until late afternoon.
