Location; the fact that it's a lovely suite, not just a room; and we got upgraded!!

Nothing not to like

Location, good for walking through the City, seeing the sites. Convenient for Restaurants and shopping

Perhaps having a roll of Paper Towel in the kitchen would be very helpful, seeing as there were no placemats you could have multi use with paper towel ie; placemats, napkins, messy spills esp. it it was a floor spill. Other hotels we have stayed at have provided washable placemats.

Location and convenient to everything we needed, having an apartment suite vs a room only, especially the second bathroom. The spaciousness of the suite and well equipped kitchen were nice features. Also, the coffee shop was handy.

The door to the balcony didn't close and lock properly. Living room area furniture is getting old. This was the first time I didn't enjoy the pool - there was a large school group that was very loud and boisterous and the teachers allowed them to take over the pool and hot tub area.

The location is ideal since a person can walk to just about any amenity such as shopping, restaraunts and attractions.

I travel to Ottawa for work and since this was my first time staying in Les Suites I found the "after hours" working space of the room to be very helpful.& the room itself to be comfortable.

Basically nothing to complain about other than my visa billing represented the estimated cost and was not adjusted for the actual payment which I just happened to catch since I often do not check my billing until later -So always a bit inconvenient to resolve this type of issue But no big problem!

Elevator waits averaged 10 to 15 mins....which makes u late for going out to a event on time....Kids were allowed to play with the elevators and stairs and knock on the doors (no security). The suite itself was good but needed to be cleaned properly...fridge and cupboards and found a used toothbrush under my bed!!!!

Awesome location, we felt like home! Close to everything. Totally recommend it!

We like visiting Ottawa and while we are there we visit our elderly aunt and uncle who live in a retirement resitence. We love the suite, it is great to be able to relax and have coffee and snacks while we are there.

Location, quiet, friendly staff, kitchen utensils.

Spacious room with kitchen and laundry. Was there just overnight but would book for extended stay for those convenienced.

Parking cost me $27 - too high for overnight stay. Should have parking vouchers for underground parking for hotel guests.

Wonderfully clean. Was upgraded to a 2 bedroom which was overkill for a single traveller but was nice.

The cafe was awful. Worst cappuccino I've ever had. Go down the block to the Starbucks

Room was nice and big. Al lthe amenities were great.

The walls are very thin and I could here everything. Especially the adult wrestling that was going on all night. I whink it was an escort incall service.

Travelled and stayed for sports purpose. Accomidations required several times per season which adds up financially. Booked rooms where meals could be prepared to keep overall travel costs down.

Walking distance to stores and attractions is very cool. Also, easy driving access to major driving routes. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Fitness and pool facilities were also quite nice. Television selections were varied and entertaining. Wireless access was sufficient for our needs. Thank you.

The room was not as clean or well-appointed as I believe would be appropriate for the cost. The pull-out bed was terribly uncomfortable. If this bed is available as a last resort for a larger family, fine, but it was the principal bed for one of the "rooms" in a one-bedroom suite, so it should be as comfortable as any principal bed. This is expecially noticeable when one is staying for 3 or 4 nights, as we were. It should not be necessary to have a 2-bedroom suite to allow 3 or 4 people to sleep in comfort. In fact, it would have been preferable to have a more conventional room with 2 queen beds. Finally . . . please consider using "express check-out" as a means to allow guests to have a receipt while not having to wait in line to hand in room cards and complete check-out procedures.

The suite was great. We loved having our own full kitchen and dining room and ate a number of meals in. We could also spread out after busy days together. The location was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Pool and exercise area could use a little updating. I found the pool quite cold, needless to say, that didn't stop the kids...

The beds are very comfortable.

Noise from the streets

I liked the fact that my son and I could have separate sleeping quarters . The kitchen was spacious and allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch which saved us money! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

It was noisy- our room was opposite the mission and construction. Coffee in the room was awful. Perhaps purchasing Tassimo type machines might be of benefit.

We loved the location - close to the Art Gallery, Museum of Civilization and Byward Market. We really enjoyed having a living room and dining area. The dryer was great when the wet snow soaked our coats. The manager was very polite, friendly and helpful.

Going home.

The room was spacious and clean. We were located in the middle of downtown, walking distance to shopping, pubs and restaurants.

A staff member was extremely rude to a group of women one evening upon our return (around 1:30am). He yelled at them for prying the door open. His behavior was extremely unprofessional. The rest of the staff however was very accommadating and pleasant.

Overpriced, outdated, boring decor, noisy, $3.50 for a bottle of water...Really?? $200+ for an overnight and a bottle of water is $3.50?

The hotel is in a convenient location, the suite was of a good size room and was fitted with relevant facilities. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very minor irritations which should not be seen as a detraction from the overall standing of the hotel. The kitchen could do with a few more implements. The lack of a grilling plate for the oven proved a minor nuisance. The kettle is on as soon as plugged in and will not turn off until it boils dry - no on/off switch, which is dangerous.
