The only time we stopped at a hotel was when we were too tired to drive. This hotel was by far the best one we stayed at during our trip. The room was great. It had a good atmosphere and it was the best sleep we had gotten in days.
This hotel is new, with modern, clean and spacious rooms. The hotel has an excellent dining room for dinner and the add-on breakfast is well worth the money. We only stopped for one night, but it was excellent value for the room. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The views over the St Lawrence are amazing. The rooms are great. It is very close to the main highway and near the ferry. The staff are friendly, we pulled in quite late and they were helpful.
The pool is very small!
The hotel is fresh and modern. The rooms are clean, very well decorated and very comfortable. The rooms are at a standard that exceeds what you would expect in a small town and there is a very posting ambience that makes it a pleasure to stay there.
The hotel was not pet friendly
High end linens, deliciously comfortable beds, shockingly good restaurant with exceptional wine cellar. What was a convenient stop on our way home from Halifax is now a planned destination. Could not recommend it more.
The beautiful pool could be a little bigger and it would be nice if the hot tub was open past 5 pm.
The total cleanliness, the ultra-modern items, including all bathroom fixtures, the lighting, the TV, etc. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was very, very good.
Could not get on the Internet with my Verizon smart phone.
The swimming pool was more little than what we aspected.
Well located, calm, elegantly decorated, large room, nice beds. Great beakfest in the morning.
The Tv remote control is not the original so could not use my usb key to view a movie I had......
Service was superb, Maria at reception was super helpful, did everything from the check-in to booking tickets on the whale-watching cruise, to finding suitable restaurants in town, to providing information about the most interesting places to visit, everything! Other staff went out of their way to help with parking, late breakfast, and directions. Quality accommodation, very comfortable, great location walking distance from centre of town, easy access to the marina.
beautiful hotel, rooms are very nice
no casual food in restaurant or bar, toilet paper roll reused from last guest
the food could have been better
Modern and clean hotel, with all the amenities. A nice cocktail lounge overlooking the St. Laurence and a lovely dining room with a varied menu at reasonable prices. Excellent service. Highly recommend.
Noisy air conditioner Lack of thinner pillows
All of the above
We only stayed one night - everything was perfect. The next morning breakfast was superb.
The bed & linens were super comfortable...especially after a long day's drive with another one for the following day. Last time we came through we stayed at a cheaper place & we very disappointed. We wish we'd arrived earlier so we cold have enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar & watched the sunset from its killer view. We would've liked to have stayed a little longer to have been able to enjoy all the amenities, especially since we'd paid more than we'd expected, but had a long drive ahead of us.
The only thing I was disappointed in was that shower curtain had a strong mildew smell which made the washroom smell & it even seeped into the bedroom area. I know it costs that extra bit, but hotels should consider putting in glass walls instead of shower curtains to curtail this unfortunate occurrence. Also beware, the price on booking.com was reasonable but after all the extra charges, the bill was a lot more than we'd expected but we didn't regret staying there.
Très belle décoration lit très confortable
We stayed overnight prior to boarding the early ferry across the St Lawrence so did not see all the facilities. The swimming pool that was pointed out to us looked quite small but the room was the best on our three week road trip through thr Maritimes & Quebec.
Pool cld bigger. No hot tub. Pay for view movies.
Warm, friendly staff. Nice facilities. Great location.
The reception staff, the location, and the room all exceeded our expectations.
There was nothing there that we could adversely comment on
One of the people with me has a severe gluten allergy. The staff and the chef went above and beyond and offered to create her a full gluten-free menu every meal. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I've been to in Quebec.
There is absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel. 5 stars.
- Location - Nice rooms
- High season price too high
clean, good staff and good view
climatisation: too much noisy
