turn on water it came out dark brown and left a ring in sink and it smelt the water. Microwave didn't work and pop machine outside the room had no pop or water in it
The bed was comfortable Continental breakfast was varied and very good.
the drapes in our room were not wide enough to cover the window and were full of holes, the window was so filthy you couldn't see out of it, the bathroom sink faucets were disgustingly filthy and the tap had been dripping for so long that the sink was rusted and stained, our fridge froze everything even when temp adjusted, and bar service was only available when someone with smart serve training was working, a real hit and miss.
Cleanliness, hospitable staff & comfortable beds.
Great job in cleanliness & hospitality but place is still run down & a bit expensive for this location. My 4th stay & first since new ownership with tax $101 is $20 plus too much especially for previous customers that are loyal to this location.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean, warm. Good value.
we liked the price, enjoyed the continental breakfast, it was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating, air conditioning
only a shower-no bathtub, room was small, heard the ice machine all night, dusty old air conditioner was loud, outside light was filtering in around the door was very bright, pillows were small and flat, rug was dirty. housekeeping staff knocking on door too early when check out is 11:00
The beds were comfortable.
This is a very old facility. Was like a motel not an inn. Continental breakfast, they were out of milk and juice.
They screwed up all our reservations. We were supposed to share two rooms with two beds in each. When we arrived we all had to get separate rooms. Rooms were disgusting what a dive.
where it was was perfect to where I was working
Previously booked directly with HOJO and had great rooms. Booking.com was less money, but would think it was a different Motel, for the difference in the quality of the room unfortunately
convenience, not far from downtown, good parking, nice clean, but small room
Breakfast was terrible. Invest $50 and buy a toaster that works! No real selection for breakfast,
I was looking forward to a tub in my room..no bogie though
Location was good. Price was good considering the age of the hotel.
Room very small and dated. The air conditioner was not properly seated in the hole through the wall. Dripped on the rug all night.
Room was clean and very quiet, breakfast was good. Good tv & refrigerator in the room.
The place could use some curb appeal. A fresh coat of paint on the outside door to the room.
The front office staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful, very accommodating. Good location.
The room needed some water damage repairs, leaky roof? no clean towels for second day of stay. Breakfast was some what unorganized on Sunday morning, ie ran out of coffee, waffle batter, boiled eggs, no napkins out, No big deal just saying.
Bed was very comfortable. Staff very helpful.
Not handicap friendly. No handicap washrooms and rooms could not accommodate people with disabilities.
the girl at the front desk was very pleasant
I thought because it was a howard john sons it would be ok.. but it was a slummy hotel and not worth the money we spent- it seemed run down and although it seemed clean it was very old and highly do not recommend, not worth the money at all.
The low price, close to Lindsay and the air conditioning working well.
Uncomfortable bed, thin walls and the room smelled.
the bed was a little small the rm was not cleaned propertly coffee stll in pot
Liked how the receptionist, Robin, helped ease my mind when I reported I forgot my visa card at home. She quickly looked into how this situation could be resolved, and did it. The room was nice and comfortable. Good variety for breakfast.
One of my friends took a shower and was disappointed with the intensity of the shower power. Said it was hard to rinse the shampoo out of her hair. Myself, didn't take a shower so no further comment on it. The hotel sign was out, which make it very difficult to see the hotel entrance at night. Returning after our supper out, actually passed it and had to turn around.
WAS CHEAP AND CONVIENANT
ROOM WAS OLD AND TIRED BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR .
The room was clean and comfortable. We had a restful night; it was nice and quiet. + + Very important at a hotel!!!!!
The continental breakfast should have been replenished more regularly; we had to ask for juice, and for coffee.
breakfast was good
sometimes the wifi didn't work well
Room was nice size shower was good
Breakfast options were very limited
The bedding/ no microwave
Staff very helphul
Very thin walls, door lock out of order, door not airtight, breakfast area unkempt
The staff was accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast was enjoyable.
There was no reservation upon arrival. Apparently, booking.com had not faxed the booking. How is it that I get an email confirmation while the hotel depends on a fax?
