Our room had been recently painted and new carpet. The bed was the best we have slept on for ages and the room was very clean. The front desk gave us an early check in and very friendly. We were really impressed, fantastic value for money. Denny's restaurant is right next door. Quiet at night and close to Park Royal. This is our 2nd stay and will do so again.
Quiet neighborhood near 3 restaurants.clean surrounding.
No slippers, wifi sometimes cuts off.
Staff were wonderful. Young fella in the evening and two women in the day were so great. Let me sleep and went out of their way etc (I won't carry on about details) was supposed to stay with friends and chose to come back and spend another two nights solely because of staff.
location, fairly new renovated room, great bed and pillows.
Walls were like paper, young couple in next room were having loud noisy sex at 1 am, and again at 6 am, the moaning and groaning was very sickening to have to listen to. Another big inconvenience was the fact it is winter weather and the heater in room didn't put out hot air, when I phoned the front desk the man said just make sure it is turned on and it will work, it was on and it didn't work, for that reason alone my wife wont want to stay with you again. We have stayed with you many, many, times before, but we will most likely spend the extra $20.00 and stay at the hotel next door to you in the future.
The bed was super comfy!
The toilets didn't like to flush.
*Bed was comfortable *Continental Breakfast was an added bonus...good selection of food!
*Furniture at some point should be updated
Easy to access location for our visit purpose. Close to family friendly food outlets (Denny's and Viet )
Room right next to Laundry. Machines in use all night. Other rooms probably fine. Smoke smell in non smoking room.
I booked with my debit card/ and signed telling a member of the staff I was staying an additional night.. she said this was absolutely fine . The next day I was exhausted and wanted to rest . I received a phone call from a girl working at the desk telling me I had to leave now. I told her that I had booked and given my debit card and she said.. if you don't leave now.. I will phone the police. I rushed downstairs.. and was even more shocked to see the Manager there also ( she had told me he wasn't there ).. he was incompetent/ abusive.. and incredibly rude. I phoned Travelodge to make a complaint.. no reply from head office. I would never stay in.a Travelodge again.. absolute dump.. incompetent staff.. filthy.. the sheets were dirty and smelled like sweat.. just a depressing/ horrible motel
We were given a room at the rear so it was quiet and with easy access to walk the dog. Good location. No charge for parking and a free Globe and Mail
Friendly staff and clean room at a reasonable cost!
Room wasn't clean, there was hair all over the room. Carpet hadn't been cleaned for a long time.
Could hear the plumbing being used by other guests.
There was considerable noise from other guests.
Staff very courtious, rooms clean, beds very comfortable - got a good nights sleep. Everything we needed was in room.
Suggest leaving two pouches of coffee in room.
WiFi..shower.. Not much otherwise
Bed too hard and was sloping in the wrong direction, bathroom not cleaned properly, Everything is old and needs renovation Heard lots of noise from upstairs room, We reserved a non smoking room it was stinking of second hand smoke...
Cleanliness in bath
Proximity to Lions Gate Bridge, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park and Downtown Vancouver. Quiet and peaceful, yet near main road so easy to find. Staff very helpful and pleasant
There really wasn't anything much to dislike. Choice of restaurants nearby were good. Only problem we had was a couple having a row outside our door at midnight! but that wasn't the managements fault!
I fell very ill during the night and thankfully their was a room available for the next night. As a solo traveler I couldn't have travelled the next day. Very accommodating staff.
No outside seating area.
location - handy for Stanley Park where we attended an event. Handy for getting to #99 to return to Calgary. Top notch staff- extremely helpful. All the staff we encountered were wonderful, cheerful and helpful.
Good location, close to all major highways and decent restaurants nearby. Pet friendly and no extra charge.
The room was very musty and had an odd smell, the carpet didn't feel clean, the bathroom was not very clean and the amenities were bare bones. Its just not a very nice Travelodge, and though by Canadian standards 80$ is pretty cheap you would expect better from such a well known motel chain.
Vancouver bus service moved the stop to the other side of Capilano Road, right in front of the Travelodge. Great.
Staff friendly. Fairly quiet. Bed very comfortable. Best of all everything was clean. Will stay again!
A little out dated but the pros far outweigh the cons.
Good location - good restaurants within walking distance. Clean room, fresh towels every day. Very friendly staff.
Our room was supposed to have a tub & fridge and when we arrived we had neither of those, but that is not necessarily the fault of the hotel and more the fault of the booking site.
