Location was great.
Sofa bed was not at all comfortable.
Close to the MTCC Well appointed suite Great to have a convenience store near by Very nice building
A new fridge was delivered the day I arrived. It had not been 'unpacked' so I had to call to have it done. That was really no big deal but there was no ice cube tray left in the fridge! It would have been nice to have access to a list of restaurants in the vicinity of the building
Proximity to all the attraction and friendly front desk employees.
This facility far exceeded my expectations on location, space, features like kitchen and wi fi, cleanliness, comfort, and quiet. I'll gladly trade room service, pool, and over-priced hotel restaurants for the quiet, relaxed comfort. It was like coming home each day.
Please replace light bulbs as needed. Fix wall switch that controls the TV. Can't think that anything else needs attention.
The flat was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Most importantly it was close to all the places we wanted. The people on the concierge desk were helpful but limited in what they could do (for example they couldn't store bags). The flat managers were really helpful, collecting our bags by car and storing them for half a day till our departure.
It would have been helpful to have: - some basic food (at least teabags or instant coffee) available on arrival. - some tourist maps, bus/tram routes and guides/brochures in the room. - some notes on local food shops and nearby restaurants. - a second key, since there were 2 of us. - an indication of where baggage might be stored after checkout.
home feel of the apartment, nice kitchen with all necessary utensils, large walk-in closet, personal laundry
the balcony was facing the vents of the neighboring building that were pretty noisy, there was no sunlight in the room
Location is perfect!
Check in and check out are poorly handled. The bed was uncomfortable and the charge for cleaning.
Stayed for 7 nights in one bedroom apartment. Fully equipped, good size, toilet with bathtub & a nice balcony. Internet was good and centerally located with easy access to major city attractions and 5 mins walk to metro station. Surrounded with number of food outlets and bars.
Location and space. Parking space was clean and spacious. Owners were very helpful when requested.
Two overhead light bulbs were burned out, a few wall switches did not work, shortage of dishes and cutlery. Should provide 4 of everything, but a number were missing. I believe the $50 cleaning fee should be part of the rental cost and not an add-on.
The location was good. In the Entertainment District but at a quiet area where some other condos and residential hotels are. Lots of little places to eat nearby. About a 10 min walk from the train station. Could walk to St Andrew subway, the Path underground shopping, Ripley's Aquarium etc. Second City was just on next street up. Clean quiet room with a handy washer/dryer and kitchen (not many dishes.) No toilet paper or lumpy sofa bed complaints--extra tp under sink and extra foam mattress to go on the sofa bed. Building concierge friendly and helpful even though they had nothing to do with our booking. Room rented out by owner and she was quick to answer all our e-mail questions before we went on our trip and very friendly and helpful when we had tv issues and had to call her at the apartment.
Room was excellent except it was on the second floor facing the street and really could have used some blackout curtains in the bedroom and living room to block out the bright streetlamps at night. Location would have been perfect if it were right next to a subway stop. But it wasn't that far--no real complaints.
Great location. Hanna helped us with everything. There is a gym .
It was very central and a great clean apartment.
Good location for Central Toronto and the CN tower. Appartment was well equipped with a homely feel.
We were able to walk to everything we went for. The suit was clean and well maintained. The secure entrance was a great feature in a large city like Toronto.Good food and great entertainment only minutes walk from our front door.
It was really nice to stay somewhere so central with a comfy bed, washing machine and kitchen facilities. The transport links were great and lots of attractions were within easy walking distance too. We would definitely stay here again.
The kitchen equipment available was a bit basic if you wanted to prepare much more than some simple food.
It was close to where we wanted to go. The front staff was very helpful when we had issues even getting into the apartment. But there job was only to give us a key it was an apartment rented out by the owner
We asked for early check in which was confirmed by owner 3x the last the day of our stay but couldn't drop our stuff in the apartment. They couldn't find our reservation for an hour then no one could find which apartment was ours. Once they finally did after calling the renter we left our luggage at the desk and came back in a few hours. To find the the apt was not cleaned still the apt renter had to do it herself and we had to wait another hour. We ended up not getting the original apt. Couldn't get the tv to work. Said there was a balcony but there wasnt
Everyone working for this place that I had the opportunity to interact with is responsive and pleasant to deal with.
The cleaning fee has to be built in the rate or removed.
Excellent location to all the main attractions, everything within walking distance, apartment was spacious,clean/tidy with great facilities within the building (gym, sauna/pool, roof terrace) would highly recommend
Sofa bed mattress very thin and springy
The kitchen & laundry facilities where great. Loved the mirrored closet doors in the bedroom.
There is no buzz code for guests to buzz upstairs. The suite wasnt ready when i got there waited over an hour in the lobby waiting. The bed was broken
Proximity to heart of city,,,Rogers Centre, the 'Needle', ACC, HHOF and King Street night life and dining. Excellent, clean, comfortable apartment. I definitely recommend and will return in the future.
Nothing to cite.
It is a suite with kitchen facilities
I would like to lodge a formal complaint with regards to our stay at The Icon on Thursday August 14, 2014. We are not satisfied with the service that we received. When I booked the hotel, there was no disclaimer that warned us that there will be extreme noise pollution from a night club directly across our room. We might have put up with the noise on Wednesday night but it was absolutely unbearable to stay a second night with loud music playing in the middle of the night. It was 12.53am in the morning when we called the concierge to request for a change of room. An arrangement was made to switch the room from Suite 643 to Suite 928. We sincerely appreciate the rapid response for that. However, the pillow cases and blanket in Suite 928 had a very strong Gain/Frebrence fragrance. As a result, we had decided not to use the pillows and quilt for the night. I have a short video clip taken from the bedroom Window from Suite 643 with regards to the noise pollution. I would like to seek compensation for our stay as a result to these incidents.
The location is good in an excellent neighborhood.
The staff are rude & opportunistic. When asked for late checkout he first accepted then asked for half a day payment to extend 3 hrs late checkout, which I found extremely unprofessional.
Nice layout and great location near cn tower and baseball
There were four of us, so we needed the double bed and the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not prepared and one duvet did not have a cover. Both beds were uncomfortable, with broken slats on the double bed and springs poking you in the sofa bed
The Living Suites was the perfect place for our weekend trip. The location is awesome, just a short walk to the Rogers Centre. It was very nice to have a kitchen and living room. Way better then being stuck in a small hotel room. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Toronto.
Location. Location. Location. In the heart of the entertainment district, a 20 min walk up to china town or a similar 20min walk down to the water. Numerous eateries and shows near by. Full Kitchen with island and separate eating table as well as living area with built-in Netflix TV, and separate bedroom made it great for us to keep our baby asleep while we relaxed. Parking under building was easy. Roof terrace was great for watching the city, and the fitness center is very clean.
There is no stopping the car on the street just outside the building, but side streets aren't far away. Fri night the streets can be a bit noisy and some noise enters the apartment.
