I liked the friendly staff , teh cleanliness and closeness of the hotel to the old Montreal and Main shopping streets.

The lack of parking , the room decor which was too dark.

Convenient. Not too pricey.

1. The faucet was stiff to turn water on. 2. Couldn't figure out the remote on the television by myself.

The location - too many people of the "down and out" in the area due to day releases from a nearby hostel/hospital. Location is somewhat to the East of where comfortable walking distances would dictate (especially in bad weather..

Staff were very friendly.

At the time of check out, I was charged $1.15 per local telephone call. I was not impressed by this and asked where in the hotel lobby or room does it state there is a charge ... of course they don't have any. That's a rip off and unfair to the customer.

Expensive parking A bit far from main attractions

The hotel was very welcoming and peaceful. Desk staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful. We liked that it was far enough away from the traffic noise yet we could walk to the main shopping area.

Facilities look too old.

The service was great, we were in Montreal for the first time and the front desk spent a lot of time explaining the area with us.

Rooms are nothing like the pictures, they are more like motel rooms that are overpriced

No parking available- had to walk 3 blocks at busy downtown montreal with our 4 children at midnight... staff at the front desk: no smile, no welcome...slow check in... bed had hairs on it... people just lounging and drinking alcohol in the lobby...empty beer cans on the table... lock inside the room was broken...

Front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the iron and ironing board.

In-house restaurant was overpriced for mediocre food.

Overbooked my room; ended up with a sub-par room from what I paid for, and staff didn't even refund part of the money. outdated, the bed was a roll-away. not going here anytime soon.

Good value for the money, fantastic location and a very soft bed.

Zero water pressure, not the cleanest and parking was a little outrageous for how tight it was.

The hotel is clean and staff are really really helpful. Location is convenient.

There is no air exchanger in the room and the windows are fully locked. The ramp to the parking underground is very steep. The hotel is not located in a good neighbourhood.

3Rd stay, when it works, it works ....Lord Berri works well

HouseKeeping entering rooms without knocking inspite of Do not disturb on door, beginning to think this is a Montréal or Québec Phenomenon... So I can't pin that all on Lord Berri.

A but run down but still great value for money.

Great internet price. Good service in the bar/restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable except for weak shower. Nice to have a mini-fridge.

Housekeeping person entered our room at 7:30 A.M. without even knocking, and we had the deadbolt on. Hallways noisy--both mornings we were woken at 6:30 A.M. by loud conversations. Had to ask twice for an extra towel. Only 2 small bath towels provided for 2 people. Rooms have only paper coffee cups for water, etc., and the supply was not replenished when the room was cleaned. If desk staff had inquired how we enjoyed our stay, we would have told them all of this, but no one did! Slightly rough area of town; you have your choice of sex shops!
