Internet connection is very bad ,also the left elevator needs some repairs... Got suck and fails to open at the reception floor..a few times
Catered to young party crowd, felt like a spring break hotel, very loud partying as well as trashed up hallways and elevators....
Close to underground station (subway/metro) Excellent price/quality ratio Very good comfort/amenities/service for price range Sterling in-house restaurant
Room service can be improved (more consistent and regular, there were a few mistakes during our 4-night stay - no coffee refill once, room not cleaned once) Bed can be made more comfy
- very convenient - right at Berri-UQAM where most subway lines are connected - clean and spacious room - big bed - lots of restaurants around
- bed cover looked dirty
Room was spotless and location could not be better. Great value.
Desk clerk at check in was not very friendly... seemed bored with her job.
Clean room very reasonable rates good price for breakfast
Charge for local calls
Very comfortable bed, affordable price, clean, friendly staff! I would stay there again (:
Helpful staff, good location (near the old town), near the metro, tv & refigerator in the room.
Dusty under the bed; need to do a deep clean project
The location is good because it's near the UQAM subway station and also the central bus station.
The neighbourhood is not the best, with many drug addicts roaming the area. Also, the hotel is in need of a makeover. The rooms are dull and dark, and furniture is old and worn.
The carpet in room.
The Reception staff(Mr.Rangan) is so good . Printing facilities and Internet station at the lobby saved a lot of my time.
Need complimentary drinking water bottle in room.
Location - close to Metro station, wi-fi, restaurant on site spacious room
The decor was very outdated - it felt like stepping into 80s
italian waiter /manager wednesday evening excellent
Everything was good
the location is good, close to downtown, the service in the restaurant in the hotel is good.
the parking space is too tight, the coffee maker was not clean, lots of coffee grinds left in the coffee maker.
The location of the hotel is perfect. close to the metro so we could use the train to move around the city and walk to restaurants. The beds were comfy.
The front office staff was a little grumpy for me.They were helpful for sure however a little smile can go a long way. They didnt smile at all. When you talked to them it was like you were bothering them. With two exceptions for sure, one lovely gentleman and a lady with brown long hair. I am in the same industry and i was really not impressed by that lack of upbeat personality. Otherwise apart from all that, all was well.
Restaurant in foyer.Excellent food, good value and friendly staff.
poor car parking area only suitable for very small cars. Hidden government Taxes that were added to the bill
Location. Location. Only one block from Metro station. Within walking distance to old Montreal. Ditto to downtown. Safe & quiet.
The location was great.there is a small lobby but very tastefully done.our room again was tasteful , large and very clean, with an updated bathroom, with good towels.Adjacent to the lobby is a wonderful restaurant ...with great food and a very friendly staff. The hotel was a great deal compared to other hotels...economic but nice...
Location was perfect for what I wanted. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room were nice - shower was amazing!
Wifi was slow.
Location, price, common areas
Small rooms need intensive renovations, worst pillows I've had in a hotel rooom
Spacious room well enough situated to good eateries and central to all amenities if back in montreal a definite big yes from us
First answer says it all
Location is just excellent. Took 747 from Trudeau Airport and got off just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Lord Berri hotel is within walking distance to the Vieux Port, Old Montreal, Latin Quarter, Rue Sainte-Catherine and more. 2 minutes walk from the Berri UQAM underground station, 10 minutes from coach station. Room was quite large and very quiet.
Some members of staff need to be more proactive. They messed up with one of my bookings but after a bit of pressure, they sorted it out. The room was fairly clean. Seems like cleaners don't look under beds
