Employees are very rude. When we asked the concierge to help us look up something using a map, they told us to look it up ourselves! You are forced to have valet parking, which costs $25 per night. It took nearly 20 minutes for the valet people to bring our car around. Not very convenient, especially in the morning when you have plans. |

beautiful building - excellent pool - very child friendly - may want to put more children life jackets as it became very busy with families at one point (evening - Saturday) - colour brochures of Byward Market were found in out hotel room (underneath bed) and had previous guests' ? name on it - would have been great to have those brochures from front desk or available - excellent brochure called room service for bathrobes (were noted to be in the hotel room in website description) - never did get the robes or the call that was promised letting us know there were none available - long time waiting on the phone for service - only disappointment |

I knew this hotel 20 years ago when it was not great. It has been completely refurbished and extended. Bedrooms and hotel facilities all of a high order. Staff excellent. Restaurant good value and excellent service. Housekeeping most helpful in retriving item I had left at hotel and sending it on. |

The location could not have been better for our Canada Day Celebration. Just a quick walk to everything! I left a piece of jewelery in the bathroom but the staff said they did not see it nor did anyone turn it in. Just a little test I'd done with many Hotels. |
