Proprietor is a most personable chap who makes truly excellent breakfasts.

Having to wait for table at his second property. Would be better if he issued time.

The room was large, clean, light, and uncluttered. We appreciated the wood floor rather than carpet. The bathroom was well done and immaculate. The hosts were warm and engaging. The breakfast, prepared by Parker, was absolutely delicious and beautifully served with nice strong coffee. The dining room had small tables so you could talk to other guests or have a more private breakfast.

The location was great, and parking onsite. The room was light and airy, and we had a private balcony. The front gardens were lovely.

We had an antique bed, and it was rather high for me. A step would've helped. I also was surprised that breakfast was down the street.

Everything. The owner is charming and friendly. Our room, very large in the attic, was spotless, comfortable and charming. The very large bathroom was modern. The breakfast cooked as needed. Thoroughly to be recommended.

Everything, was an excellent place to be!

If I have to chose something it would be the travel to another B&B for breakfast, but I am not complaining, the breakfast was excellent!

We liked the location, the history of yhe place, the private entrance, the balcony. The breakfast was in a different location but was delicious so the short walk was no problem.

The fog!! But we realize the owners of the B&B had no control over that!

Incredibly solid house despite its age (we were there during the hurricane winds), very quiet, owner Parker is very lovely and the whole place was very clean. We even had a king sized bed and our own balcony and entrance!

For our breakfast we had to go to another location down the street. A bit of an inconvenience but once we tasted it, it was worth it!

The best breakfast in Cape Breton!

Not the b&b's fault, but there are few places to have a good meal in Louisburg

It was the best place we stayed in Cape Breton, in the same price range. The room /bath was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Best bed. We tell all our friends/relatives if they go , to stay there.

Tv too small, too far n too high. We had to leave the bed n breakfast home to go have breakfast at another house n breakfast was only from 8 to 8:45. Other than that good ncomfortable bed

Although our booking was at the Louisbourg Heritage House, we actually ended up in the (nearly) adjoining property, the Louisbourg Harbour Inn, under joint ownership and management. No problem, in fact better because the Harbour Inn is a bit closer to the water and hosts breakfast for both properties. We had a wonderful room (#3) with private balcony overlooking the harbor. The property is meticulously maintained and well run by Parker and his team and we could not have asked for more in a B&B in this area. Very convenient to all local attractions, including the Fortress. Creative and beautifully prepared breakfasts - not the usual coffee and pastry. Can't say enough good about this place.
