Maria the owner had thought of everything and the suite was well equipped with everything we could need!
Everything except for the toilet.
The toilet flushed poorly.
General location is convenient, but...
Location while convenient has downside next to the Irish Harp, unless you stay up until early morning. Noisy A/C might provide white noise for some. Need black out curtains.
Warm welcome and beautiful suite with nice personal touches. Location perfect ... Can walk straight into the centre of this wonderful town!
Nothing ... Everything was perfect!
Location Cleanliness Wi-fi
Next to Pub was noisy at night
Very clear directions to finding the place. Very clean and well stocked kitchen, felt like home. The restaurant next door, called The Grill on King, was so good, we eat there twice during out stay. The flower baskets on Queen street were very impressive. If you like Victoria BC, for the flower display on the streets and homes, then you will love N.O.T.L. for their flowers, plus the bonus of the Shaw Theater. Easy to walk every where in the town and around the lake front. Close the Niagara Falls
Can not think of a thing that we did not like, except not being able to stay longer. But then that gives us another reason to return.
Excellent location, private suite, very nice owner. We were in smallest of 3 suites but perfect for our needs. The bathroom was small and the other suites had balcony/kitchen, still we were extremely satisfied w our stay!
Location was near everything. A little coffee shop nearby was convenient. The room was large and cozy. The owners were friendly and attentive.
The veranda could use a little TLC
Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful decor. Well appointed for Niagara on the lake.
The rooms are right in the middle of downtown. Our room had a balcony overlooking King street- which was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the world go by. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. No need for your car, you can walk to almost everything in town.
Perfect getaway retreat in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful furnishings and personal touches added to the warmth of the room. Would highly recommend this location to anyone travelling to the area...we will definitely be returning. Thank you Tony and Maria!
Absolutely nothing...Loved, Loved, Loved Luisa's Suites!
For whatever reason, our iPhones connected with the Wi-Fi with no hiccups at all but our iPads couldn't complete the connection.
Our stay at Luisa's was perfect - Maria and her family were so friendly and accomodating. The location was ideal being right near the main intersection of NOTL. A few doors down is a great coffee shop/roastery which was perfect for the mornings. We stayed in the smallest of three suites, but it was more than we needed for our stay of a couple nights. The room had a nice bed, AC, small sink and fridge, microwave, toaster and a coffee maker. The room was very quiet, and key-pad access was a great feature meaning you don't need to carry around a key. Parking was secure and well-lit, and just a few steps from the hotel entrance. Really couldn't have been more pleased, and the price was great for the area.
My only real complaint was that the skylight in the room didn't have blinds, so it gets pretty bright in the morning when the sun comes up. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I enjoy sleeping in a bit on holidays. The bathroom in this suite (biscotti) was fairly small, but it really didn't cause any issue.
everything indicated above
furnace noise at night & TV circuit overloaded and tripped out
Right downtown and close to everything and your own personal balcony
Pillows were very hard
- keyless entry was great - self check in and out - great wifi - convinient location - room had all amenities needed - small kitchen was great - owners are very thoughtful
Attention to detail. Size and Value of suite. Tastefully decorated.
Excellent accommodations, clean, comfortable and private. We wanted a luxurious room close to old Niagra-on-the-Lake. We did not want a B&B which requires attendance to breakfast at a scheduled time... we wanted privacy and freedom to do as we wished. We were able to walk to all the attractions and meals. We're coming back! And of course, the balcony that overlooks King St. was an added delight.
Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We had everything that we needed and it made us feel both relaxed and pampered while being in the heart of it all. The owners Maria and Tony are two of the nicest people and it was a sincere pleasure getting to interface with them. I contacted Maria in advance about our anniversary and she had fresh flowers and a bottle of asti spumante and some goodies for us. It really made it special and was a nice surprise. Then, Tony took us on a tour to the wineries and it was fantastic to get to be with a local who knew just where to go and we really enjoyed talking with him, he is a super person. I can't say enough about the owners, our stay there and how wonderful it was. So, to recap, perfect location in the heart of it all with free parking, beautiful private suite with all the amenities, great owners...perfect. My wife and I left knowing we will come back again.
NOTHING other than wish we could stay longer!
Lovely apartment. Perfectly equipped kitchen. Nice welcome with suites and water and great information what to do. Niagara at the lake is a lovely little town which is a fantastic getaway for a summer weekend.
-Nice, clean, comfortable rooms -Friendly, helpful owner greeted us upon arrival and showed us our rooms -Great location
The room was beautifully decorated and cleverly designed to maximize space. The location could not have been better. I loved the set up - it was small, like a B and B, but there was enough space that you didn't feel as though you were stumbling over your neighbours. We ran into the owner at one point and she could not have been more charming.
my only complaint is that the bed was too soft. This is of course a matter of taste.
great location, clean, well-appointed suites, attentive owners
view from balcony is a parking lot. limited cable channels.
We had the King Suite, and especially enjoyed the balcony that overlooked King Street. The location was excellent; we were in walking distance of the shops, parks, restaurants, theatres and Fort George. The suite was just the right size and very comfortable and quiet. Parking was convenient.
This is not a "Bed and Breakfast"--there is no breakfast served--but there is a little fridge and microwave and toaster so you can make your own. (We had bagels and fresh fruit from the local grocery.) Also, there was a shortage of electrical outlets, which made it a wee bit inconvenient to charge my laptop and smartphone.
The place was very clean and very central which was amazing as everything was a 5-10 minute walk from our room.
While I think that the place was very quaint and lovely, the price point was the same as what you would pay for a 4 or 5 star hotel. The room would be considered a standard room. There was absolutely no staff, no concierge, no room service, no maid serivce, nothing that would require any staff. So my question is why would just a bed be about 200+ a night at a time of year that's not even in season?! It wouldn't even be considered as a bed and breakfast as there was no breakfast! The other thing that was very bad was the fact that the air conditioning/heating was so loud that it actually woke us up in the night when it would turn on. Also as our room overlooked the street I felt as though I could hear every car passing us by. We really didn't think that the place was a reflection of the price per night. If the price were properly reflected in the service (or lack of) then I would give our stay a higher rating.
