Days Inn - Niagara Falls, Lundy's Lane  

The price, the location, the staff.

Location.

First of all I booked a King room and got a Queen. When I checked in the staff advised me that I booked two rooms; King and Queen. When I advised her I only booked one room; King, she put us in the Queen. When we got to the hotel room it hadn't been cleaned so we switched rooms. Our key cards didn't work the next day which was frustrating and the book in the room of facilities was out dated as we ordered pizza pizza and the deal in the book had already expired months ago. The ice machine was also broken and there were earwigs in the bathroom. There was so much calcium build up on the bathroom faucet that the tap only dripped out water on the one side. One of the trips back to the front desk had another guest checking in who also didn't get what she asked either. All around it was a frustrating weekend dealing with everything and me

Day's Inn, Lundy's Lane was conveniently located off of QEW. While close enough to reach the falls in a very short drive, it was not in the middle of the tourist section. After much research, this may have been the most bang for your buck. I was quite anxious about the quality of this room/hotel, but it did the job for a long weekend. The room was clean and staff was helpful. It was booked through booking.com which was also a first experience for me. I was skeptical about booking through this website after reading a number of reviews, but I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again. Smooth and easy transaction with a great price.

The bed was less than comfortable, but that is typically par for the course for hotels like this. The diner was simply a diner and not a restaurant with a full bar.

The fact that the rooms are non smoking, it was very clean

There was no microwave in the room. Had to warm my food at the lobby

The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean, nice and well kept. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was ok.

The first thing was that the swimming pool was right at the front lobby af the hotel ,there was no privacy. Also there was a strong smell of clorine in the lobby.but the biggest problem we had was that the mattres on the beds were too hard ,we were suppose to stay 2 nights but cheked out after the first night ,it was very hard to sleep.

We visited on the thanks giving weekend oct 9/11 and we got into our room , called down to the front desk and asked we needed 2 more sets of towels and four shampoos and soaps and she said they will send it up when the person comes from break, the gentleman brought up 2 sets of towels only and my husband told him we need the saop and shampoo , he came back and only brought 1 shampoo and 1 bar of soap, I can't beleive there was no communication with the front desk and the people thta bring the stuff up to the rooms, also the kleenex box had only one tissue in it and there was not an other there, I don't know what you guys have to do to make sure the customers are to have a happy stay, also the beds were awful very hard when we woke up alll 4 of us backs were hurting did not even sleep well. People beside was was running across each others rooms and slamming the doors driving us crazy. Will have to see if we stay here again have been here 3-4 times those times were good. Oh one more thing also in the swimming pool mon. Morning oct 10/11 there was 2 people in the pool with their clothes on which I do not think that is acceptable, the way everybody has to wear a bathing suit so should those people I got disgusted by that

The front desk clerk was wonderful. Very helpful and had a good sense of humor, which was a plus. The room was comfortable and large, which was great considering we got the room at the last minute. It's definitely too far from the falls to walk there, but it was great if you have a car, only a few minutes drive and the staff with give you directions on the tourist map.

It had an incredible pool but it was rather small. There were kids in it the entire time that it was open. This is great for families, but didn't work so well for us on our 2nd honey moon :). That's more of a preference thing than anything else, though.

Staff's are very friendly & accomodating. Rooms are clean enough. I will recommend this hotel to others.

Liked the convenience of proximity to The Falls and restaurants and shopping! Outlet 5 minutes away! Falls 10 min drive away! Room that we got was 2 queen beds in queen room which was perfect for family of 5 as we had a travel cot for the baby ( which the hotel provided) attached to a wimpy's which we are not keen on but there was a sushi place across the road. Jade it was called and it was delicious!

The staff at this hotel was amazing, our reservation was lost and they got us a room right away. The room was clean and comfortable and I can never complain about a hot tub in the room. The hotel was very quiet as well.

Everything was great no complaints out of me.
