In downtown Montréal, this student residence is just a 5-minute walk to McGill University campus. It has shared kitchenettes and lounges throughout the building. All rooms feature a small fridge.

Score from 302 reviews Excellent
The owner was very kind and helpful.
Parking Situation is difficult.
Economical but fairly basic. 10 minutes walk to old city, shopping and public transport.
Basic breakfast 3 blocks away in a cafe – not worth the walk if it's raining. Poor cooking facilities – kettle on the ground floor, nothing in the room. Air con controlled by staff, not guests.
room was nice and spacious, location was very good.
even though they took our reservation with an amex, and that we paid with an amex before, and that they use amex logos in many items, they refused to take our american express card. Why? "because I don't like it. Too expensive for us" Fine.. I understand.. but then don't say that you accept it! Also, they provide breakfast at another restaurant. This would be fine, except that place wasn't terribly clean.
really clean, cozy room for family travelling. the room is just like home.
a little far walk to the cafe for breakfast. and no parking provided, so you have to find your parking place if you drive a car.
We were lucky enough to get parking on the street in front of the building.
It was odd that the breakfast was in a local restaurant No where to store luggage after check out Window overlooked untidy back yard Could hear neighbors in the next building
Short walk to Old Port. Tea and coffe in the lobby any time. Nice menager.
Not typical B&B. You have to walk to bistro where breakfast is served.
location, room has character, little balcony
bathroom not cleaned, bed and room very small
Location, low price.
Started with booking problems. End up with small and warm room. AC was just for the name and kept shutting off all the time. Small black ants were in the room. Not much staff. Sent to a close by cafe for breakfast which was not so good.
Quiet location, nice Victorian building
- My reservation unknown to staff upon my arrival - Breakfast is three blocks away, offered menus not fantastic
Nice building with an atmosphere. It is in good walking distance to the Latin Quarter, the historic district, and the city center. Reasonably quiet. The breakfast was served in a cafe at a 5 minute walk, but it was another thing to enjoy.
At the third floor, WiFi was scarcely useful. I had to go downstairs to get WiFi connection.
Asked to pay cash before seeing room. Told credit card machine was broken, but manager said she would "try to get it repaired" next day. Booked self-catering studio; were given room with no cooking facilities or sink. Manager told us the studio was occupied but we could move there next day. (We had booked in Jan.) We said we had been travelling for 20 hours and wanted to make a coffee and have something to eat in our studio. Manager said there was a micro-wave and coffee-making downstairs in the corridor. We then reluctantly accepted a room downstairs. (She also said she had been waiting for us "for hours" and that she did not usually work until that time. We had e-mailed our arrival time 5 days previously and had received a courteous reply from the owner.) Had great difficulty (and wasted much time) trying to contact manager the next day in order to pay, although she lived below the property. She did not answer her phone. We were calling the owner when manager appeared. The credit card machine was working. When we booked, there was no indication that breakfast was not served on the premises; it is taken at a café 5-10 mins.' walk away. We would never have chosen to eat in this café. Black hairs in bath. Toilet cistern did not function properly. Very noisy fridge in room.
The decor, the preserved traditional interior and exterior, and our lovely host Mano.
Home away from home. Thank you Manon for making us feel welcome and giving us recommendations about Montreal. Room was quaint and beautiful. Can't wait to come back! Sylwia, Maria & Orianka
Clean, quiet, very convinient location, welcoming personnel
The staff was incredible, made us feel very comfortable and at home. They were eager to help and were able to assist us and meet all of our needs. Price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was close to everywhere we wanted to go and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Historical and picturesque building. Clean, accommodating, good house keeping service. The first night the manager said the breakfast included mentioned on the booking.com was an error. She regardless provided 3/4 breakfasts. Room was warm. Manager was nice and interesting to talk to. However, a bit nosy and it was clear she had entered my room (possibly for room service?) when I was not there as some of my things came up in conversation.
Room was very small. Other larger rooms were available at higher prices. Bathroom: door was difficult to open, paint was chipped, shower doors were coming off the railing. Location: walking back from the convention center at night was a bit scary as I was the only one out and about on the streets.
