The suite was meticulous….very tidy and nicely decorated. The host has thought of everything….there is a toaster oven, toaster, fridge and coffee maker with coffee provided. The bathroom is fully stocked if you forgot anything such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. The host is very friendly and even left some delicious baking treats for us to enjoy.

Air BNB
The best Air BNB I’ve stayed in so far. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood and is close to all the shopping centers and attractions. The front of the house has a beautiful flower flowerbed with a mix of fruit trees. The amenities include, laundry, TV , full kitchen and a backyard. Ms. Angel has an outstanding hospitality and will always be available in case you need her. She even cooked us a great meal on our last night and it was mouth watering. If you decide to book this, go through Air BNB instead of booking.com because it is a third party website that is unreliable and proven to be a hassle when it comes to paying for your stay. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back here on our next trip!
Offering 2 on-site restaurants, The Huntingdon Manor Hotel provides free WiFi in all areas. A cable TV is included in all rooms. Victoria’s Inner Harbor is just 656 ft away.

The Kinsol Trestle and Malahat Skywalk are nearby and should be visited. Spectacle Lake is very close and great for short hikes. If driving to/from the Saanich Peninsula, take the small Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay BC ferry.

It's hard to answer this as Malahat refers to a stretch of highway rather than a city or town but it was beautiful. The highway is quite busy most of the time and it's easy to miss your turn offs but there are a lot of U-turn areas as well. There are a few lovely natural areas/lakes/parks in the area that are great for hiking and enjoying. A vehicle is needed but it's only a half hour or less into Victoria as well.

We took the bedside lamp and put it on the kitchen table to see our food. Also, be careful with the blinds as they opened easily however, they got stuck when trying to lower them. Bring slippers, the floor isn't as clean and most of it is tile.
Thank you

I liked the view very much.
I liked the view very much.
We had to keep the windows open as there was no air conditioning and the highway noise was intrusive,
I deplore the lack of hot water. I could not shower in ice cold water.

The view from our room was great, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The food, the staff and the view from the dining room were great. There is no front desk at the motel, nobody to talk to. Our room door code didn't work so we phoned the number posted for help but nobody answered. We went over to the restaurant to get it resolved. The whole place needs a good clean-up outside and around the building.
In particular, the owners were extremely attentive and helpful. I stayed in both a regular bungalow and one of the cottages. Both were fine to stay in, well-set up and with everything advertised.
Internet was adequate and movies played fine, but wasn't the typical gigabit speed Canada has been building. This is likely because of the location - Mahalat seems to have older high-speed internet, not the newer fiber. But it wasn't a problem in any real way.
The view is exceptional and picturesque! The first night we stayed, it was a sunny day and you could see the water.
The second day, when we got back to the lodge the area was COVERED in a fog. We stood outside and watched the fog lift, it was an incredible view.
The lodge is also a very beautiful structure!
Would gladly stay again! Most people left bad reviews like to stay in cookie cutter hotels. No some mom and pop. Im so happy we booked!
Loved everything about this hotel. From check-in to check-out we had a lovely time. The hotel staff had a birthday card and chocolates ready in our room as it was my birthday, so thought this was a lovely touch. The views there are stunning and it was great to see the eagles flying above. We used the pool, which was good - lovely and clean with really nice changing rooms.
The owners were nice, and very responsive. The room was clean and quiet, a perfect place to relax and get work done during the day.
I had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency, and they were incredibly helpful and fair. Recommend this place if travelling on the Malahat!
This is an excellent location, The staff are very friendly. I rented the queen studio motel room. The room was large with an very good tv and comfortable bed. It is minutes from the Malahat Skywalk (a must see!!!) and close to the Malahat Chalet awesome food amazing view.
A more private spot then if you would rent a room in a big name hotel room, it’s relatively calm due to the road along the hotel bungalow, generally clean, but I would expect some services and more accommodation since there is snow (carpets to put wet boots on.
A wonderful place for my girlfriends 40th, we loved the master suite and the peacefulness of the location. We’ve stayed in many of the top hotels on the island and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Villa Eyrie as one the best for the price and location.
The location is good. Views are spectacular! Very close to Malahat Skywalk, one of the sites we went to see.
Great little kitchen. We liked the loft concept and 2 bathrooms. The soaker tub in the room is a nice bonus.
The hotel is awesome. Super nice view and very clean room. The room comes with a bathtub with an awesome view. The food in the hotel’s restaurant is very nice as well. Only a few minute drive to Malahat skywalk.
I loved the large windows and the amazing views. The corner bathtub was a showstopper for sure! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains with stunning inspiring views, this is your place to stay!
Our room had the most gorgeous view of the water and mountains. The spa tub was absolutely wonderful, relaxing and VERY clean when we arrived, as was the entire room.
