A quaint period location. Quiet and comfortable
We were checked in this classy little Hotel very late. The lady owner and her staff still offer us warm welcome and waived our late check-in charge. She explained the team were still working during Saturday's evening. This really made us feel at home. I would recommend friends to try this B&B hotel if they travel in the area.
What an amazing room! This was soo nice and luxurious that we decide to stay until the very last moment (late check out: until midday!) to make the most of it. Spa outside we've been using until 22h. Staff particularly nice and helpful. Possibility to eat fancy until 20h30 in the hotel but a fun alternative close to the Manoir: the "Smoky pig" pub (same owners but different style, less luxurious though pretty. Incredible cocktails and well later than 20h30) .
Breakfast is not bad but well under the level of rooms. Only ham and cheese on 1 sort of insipid toast. Nothing warm (no eggs/pancakes...) , 1 pot Peanut butter, 1 pot marmalade on the common table and that's it. Though, fresh and dried fruits. Cleanless in the whole room was excellent but the WC which have clearly been used once again before arrived (guess what the brush is made for...) . Strange in comparison with the rest!
A delightful retreat 'off the beaten track', this lovingly restored country manor offers all modern amenities while surrounding you with vintage elegance.
We didn't lime that we only booked for one night (Tue - no extension possible)) and so unfortunately missed the culinary highlights of the in-house restaurant offered starting Wednesdays.
Very quaint, quiet and relaxing....quite romantic! Beautiful porch, gardens and trees. The owners were very friendly and spoke many different languages. They made us feel special!
We stayed on a Monday evening and the restaurant within the property was not open (but we knew this ahead of time that it was only open Wed to Sunday)....the menu looked amazing and we will definitely be back another stay to try the food!
Service, decor, restaurant, helpful friendlystaff
The room, the hotel, the service.
the food at the couchon fumée is not that good
Best hot tub at a hotel -- very clean and fully functional. Rooms were nice
Food at hotel was ordinary despite looking like it would be fabulous. Owners has a second restaurant nearby which is much better. Steak slightly overcooked.
Very relaxed village atmosphere close to major highways for local city day trips. Friendly and helpful staff.
