Cleaning, not bad for two stars place, very friendly staff.
The hotel is in walking distance basically from all sights of the city and also from the bus station. The property operator (probably he was the owner) was nice and helpful.
The building is situated on a frequented intersection, therefore there is quite a big noise in the morning. The private bathroom was so small, and moreover, the shower was not working, so we had to use the shared bathroom on the same floor. As there were no other guests, this was not a big deal for us.
Located in university area of Quebec , so many facilities and shops available which are reasonably priced. Close to port area and old city.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a reasonable balance between access to the walled city and the lower city.
Shared bathroom. Perhaps I misread the room description but I thought we were getting an en suite bathroom. Room lacked bedside tables and lights (only reading light was at other end of room as there was no outlet near the bed)
has a portable air con that is not enough for the room. slum like entrance. no headboard. it sucks.
Extraordinarily helpful staff. Provided us with a map upon arrival, and circled points of interest, walking us through each place, down to the hours of operation. Right around the corner from La Korrigane (a restaurant/microbrewery), and another restaurant that only charges $5 for a meal. Great for young vacationers!
The staff, location, price
The noice from street, the toilet downstair, and neighboughs.
small room, small tv, no toilette paper, parking was an issue (giving car keys to the main desk)
Location is good Breakfast included
Terrible loud with 2 major roads meters away. Stayed for one week, bed was done only once at the first day. All following days nobody did the bed again. Towels were not changed at all.
Helpful staff. Excellent location to visit Quebec. The old city is just a few minutes away walking, while the hotel is close to the main roads. Private parking lot.
No lift. You have to use the stairs.
Good value for the money Friendly staff Breakfast included Near food stores and restaurants
The hotel is simple, with a shared bathroom at the first stage. Its not really a problem, because it was cleann and easy access. There was ar-conditioning and the room was cleaned and organized. The breakfast was included, for a good price.
It is not really far from de old Quebec, but is not into the old site. Is far only fifteen minutes walking from the main attractions
We were just there for the night and had a pleasant stay. We didn't get to see much, but it seemed to be in a good location. The continental breakfast was nice.
It was over a long weekend and really pricey. I assume the cost is usually much lower.
- nice staff - clean - quiet - a walkable distance from old town
- Breakfast was ok but could include a bit more fruit options.
A very big room and a nice breakfast
The bulb in my room was burnt and they did not change it. Everyday I heard that it will be replaced tomorrow... finally I had to checkout (in the dark ;)
Location: very well located with easy access to the old city, which is a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Staff: very friendly with excellent command of English.
The room was right in front of the reception, literally 1m away.
Nothing at all
Staff unprofessional, unethical, mean, rude, arrogant, prejudicial, disrespectful, with alcohol breath, and with poor customer service.
The place was clean. It was an easy 10-15 walk to the old city. And there were a few decent places to eat right around that area. Our room was a good size, though some of the other rooms were smaller. On site parking available. It was quiet. The room had an air conditioner.
Parking was $12/day. The breakfast was just bread and cereal, with an occasional piece of fruit. The staff was not available after 7. The room had a bit of a mold smell to it. The bathroom was tiny. (Some rooms don't have their own bathrooms.)
- close to old quebec, chateau frontenac. - close to nice restaurants, bars/pubs.
The master of the hotel is very friendly.
It takes time a little to go to the center of the city.
No lift, hard to carry luggage up narrow stairs
staff friendly, helpful location internet breakfast was ok cleaniness quietness
weird shared bathroom
Great value and good location
Great location. Could walk to all relevant places.
If you want an affordable place to stay in a good location in Quebec you can consider the Manior Charest. They really made me feel at home.
