View. Warmth of staff. Generous continental breakfast.
Steep stairs. overcrowded room. Poor lighting, especially in bath.
Very friendly staff, greeted us upon our very late arrival and helped carry our luggage upstairs. Room was very large, overlooking the Yacht harbor. Hotel is old but very clean.
the location near the cruise ship
the stairs and no room to move around the beds.
View was good. Location was in the middle of old and new town. Helpful staff.
Had a small room with 2 double beds which filled the room leaving no space for luggage or even moving around easily. There were other nicer larger rooms in the hotel. Old bankets and furnishings.
My stay in Quebec was unexpected so I just wanted something affordable. This place was in a perfect location, in Old Quebec, overlooking the seaway with everything closeby. The owners were so very kind and helpful. They are hardworking and the place is very clean. I will definitely stay here the next time I plan to stay in Quebec.
Staff at Reception desk was super Location is good
Room was very outdated, carpet along edges of room was very dusty, bedspread was due for a changeout as well as the flimsy curtains and curtain rod. The lobby was also in need of an overhall. Wifi only worked sporadically and only in lobby and was turned off after midnight! only 3 parking slots!
She was very impressed by the customer service. The desk manager changed her room when he saw that she was "older" and that the 3rd floor might not be the best place to be. It even cost less than the first room. She said she had a great time.
Owners were so kind and helpful. They helped us with all our requests with smile! Breakfast was tasty!
The room was little bit small.
Situated on the ramparts overlooking lower Quebec, near shops, bars & restaurants. Staff very helpful & welcoming. It is an old quirky building, full of character.
Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, stairs into hotel & no lift.
They could have provided some boiled eggs for people like me who enjoy protein for breakfast. Otherwise, everything was great. The people so friendly and helpful.
friendly staffs, location, breakfast
Location, breakfast, helpful and friendly owners.
Small room and bathroom ( however, as we spent our days discovering, it did not really matter).
The staff was very helpfull and accommodating, it is an old building so you can't expect luxury but I was verr happy with it and the location is on the old city wall with a view over the harbor and a short walk to Frontenac and the old down town
the view from the terrace, the friendly staff, breakfast (except the coffee)
terribly run down place;rooms incl bathroom need modernising, windows, walls, paintwork, the floors, carpets, doors, locks, need repair, replacement; racket from air condition on the lovely little terrace kept us awake for hours at night in spite of our ear plugs; sheets had holes and tears - in spite of our asking for replacement; towels were too small and literally worn out. Not even one (1) star let alone the 3 or four we paid.
Location and view
Bed and pillows not comfortable
Location is nice, but the place itself is worn out and needs renovation. The staff is nice and they showed us free parking.
Dining room is poorly maintained.
Towells were in very bad condition
Good location and view from the window. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The interior was old fashion. The ceiling fan made annoying noise when running. This room was not that sound proof.
Location, staff and breakfast
Three flights of stairs, no elevator. No wifi in room
The owners were extremely kind and helpful. Since we were leaving very early in the morning, they provided us with a take away breakfast the evening before. The building is quite old and the rooms are not luxury, but the dining room has a cozy look like a bed and breakfast. It is situated very close to the old town centre, in 5 minutes walk you are in the main streets.
- the hotel is old, and needs to be revitalised, - cleaness of the common areas needs to be improved, - wi-fi only in the loby, - space of the breakfast salon is very small
They have very good view but wasted
Owner has none sense of hospitality. Wifi is only available at the lobby. My room is covered by dust and smelly. The towels they provide are poor condition and countless holes on it. No soap no shampoo because nobody is gonna refill them. The building is poor sound-proofing, u will be vexed by yelling and running kids in the hall way. There is no AC in my room, I got woke up at 4am becaus of the heat, and I check the weather condition from my iPad(I had to go back to lobby for wifi), outside were only 16degree, but my room felt like 25. The breakfast provide next morning reach my breaking point, flies r around the food. It cost me $85 per night, not much but definitely not the place u want to stay for ur holiday. I won't spend a penny on the place, such nightmare. Plz pay caution when u choose there!!!!
